00:00Why is there anger from a certain segment of the Brewer population fan base towards the national media and towards
00:09Major League Baseball?
00:10Because it feels like I've seen it on my own social media where any type of conversation about big market
00:16or where baseball currently is that Brewer fans are like, you guys ignored us for so many years.
00:23You made us feel like second rate citizens for so long.
00:26And now we're going to be at the king of the hill.
00:28Is there sort of I told you so going on with a certain level, a certain percentage of the population
00:34in Brewer Nation?
00:35There might be a little bit with some people.
00:37We do have a little brother syndrome.
00:39I mean, we are less than 90 miles away from the Chicago Cubs, who are a national darling.
00:46And Cubs fans are they travel well to Milwaukee games and get a lot of fans in the building for
00:54that.
00:54So that is a robust rivalry.
00:56And I think the Packers do or the Packers, the Brewers and their fans might have a little bit of
01:02an inferiority complex to the Cubs, although they shouldn't because we've won the division four straight years.
01:07And now you'd be the smallest hand.
01:11You'd be the smallest metropolitan area ever to win the World Series.
01:15Wow.
01:16In Major League Baseball history.
01:18No, no one of the size with the payroll, the size of you guys, because we've seen like the twins.
01:25We've seen other smaller, quote, quote, small, small market teams, Pittsburgh and whatnot, who didn't have big payrolls, have won
01:32the World Series in their history.
01:33But you guys being the smallest metropolitan area, on top of the fact that you play small ball and you
01:40play the game the way the game used to be played.
01:42I've been in love.
01:43I've told you this since last year.
01:44I've been in love with Pat Murphy for two years.
01:47I think he's the best manager in baseball.
01:49He's the two time NL mentor of the year.
01:51Make him three time for the way that he has coached these guys.
01:55And you mentioned the pitchers that come out of nowhere.
01:58You guys have got you have players that come out of nowhere.
02:01And you're like, where did this kid come from?
02:03And all of a sudden, the guy's contributing in major moments, mostly because the coach trusts that player to do
02:09what's being asked of him.
02:11It really feels like a team victory.
02:13You guys, I know Christian Yelich is, you know, or Jackson Cheerio, maybe the star or Mizorowski gets all the
02:19headlines.
02:20But it does feel like you guys are a complete team.
02:22It definitely feels like there is an esprit de corps with this team that not a lot of other MLB
02:30teams have.
02:31And it feels like it's a dugout pretty low on egos, you know, and there's some Jackson Cheerio is going
02:39to be a star for a decade plus.
