00:00Well, I got to hand it to the Dallas Cowboys.
00:02They actually showed up and won a game that they had to have.
00:05They needed this football game against a wounded Eagle football team.
00:09You know, anytime that you go into a football game like this,
00:12especially in an NFC East battle,
00:14this is truly one of the great rivalries in all of football.
00:18And last night, the Cowboys actually showed up.
00:21Now, the great one at the mic here,
00:24we had like a seven or eight-minute interview here.
00:26So this is what we got out of Brian Schottenheimer, the head coach.
00:32Man, we played really good tonight, second half.
00:34Had nothing to do with desperation.
00:36Our guys just played good.
00:40Sorry?
00:40They were good.
00:43Solid.
00:44Good balance.
00:46Jeez, oh, man.
00:47That was a four-minute interview condensed down to nothing.
00:50Thank you very much.
00:51All right, Dak Prescott.
00:53He knows, though.
00:54Hey, I know, Schott, he gets a lot of slings and arrows thrown at him.
00:59And there was a lot of people questioning whether or not,
01:01if they lose this ball game, would Jerry make a move at potentially firing the guy?
01:05But Dak says he's got his boys back.
01:09Yeah, I mean, you said the only thing that matters is getting the win.
01:12It was to do that.
01:14Honestly, in what we've done the last couple of weeks,
01:17to put that behind us and, you know, come out and get a division win on the road
01:21in a hostile environment right before we, you know, get to go home for a couple of weeks.
01:25I think it was massive.
01:26And just a great complimentary win right back and forth in the first half.
01:31Defense settles in in the second half.
01:32One touchdown.
01:33We're at just pretty much score on the nose of the drives.
01:36I think ready some right there, two or three in the fourth quarter.
01:38And so, very balanced attack.
01:41Dak, we've got to stick to it.
01:43Man, you know what?
01:44Dak jumped the gun on me there.
01:46He was talking about getting out to that three and four lead.
01:48Here is Dak talking about getting shotty's back.
01:56Definitely hungry, pissed off version of shotty.
02:01It's not like he's naive.
02:02It's not like he had an urge, some noise about him.
02:05And, you know, whether it's the calling games or whatever doubt that's been out there.
02:09But we've got his back.
02:10He knows that.
02:11He's a guy that takes a lot of pride in his job, a lot of pride in his team.
02:16And, yeah, I mean, everybody handles everything different.
02:18So, I don't blame him to an extent.
02:21And, yeah, we've got his back.
02:23More importantly, it's just about us going up there and executing on Sundays.
02:26Honestly, man, watching the Cowboys is like watching an episode of the Kardashians sometimes.
02:31I mean, they're three and four on the season.
02:34Let's not get ahead of our skis here, Dak.
02:36You got a lot of football that you played here.
02:37Now, do you folks know what a word salad is?
02:41Okay, it's when somebody just throws words in there and throws words in there.
02:45Do you know who Confucius is?
02:47So, put word salad and Confucius together, and this is what you get.
02:52The head football coach of the Eagles.
02:54Yeah.
02:55We just talked about, you know, being the same version of yourself every single day.
03:01All that matters is we improve.
03:03That's an epiphany.
03:05You know, I think back on the, you know, 2021 season.
03:12Harken back.
03:13The way we finished that year.
03:16This guy's a buffoon.
03:18I'm thinking about it right now.
03:19The way we finished that year propelled us into the future Eagles, you know, that we've been the last four
03:26years.
03:27Yeah.
03:28And so, growth.
03:30You're getting fired.
03:33And so, we talked a lot about being the same version of ourselves regardless of the circumstances.
03:37With a 670 win percentage.
03:39You know why?
03:40Because you're an idiot.
03:42Because you're going to deal you some tough hands at times.
03:44But can you get up and keep fighting?
03:46You know, life's going to deal you some tough hands at times.
03:49Can you get up and keep fighting?
03:51And we talked about that.
03:53We talked about being the same guy every day.
03:55We talked about, you know, being grateful.
03:58I mean, shoot, I'm in the national anthem today.
04:00I was thinking to myself, this is something I prayed for and dreamed of when I was a kid.
04:06And even as a young adult.
04:09This is a head coach in the NFL.
04:12You know, about who I'd be coaching, where I'd be coaching, what our record would be, anything like that.
04:18You make $16 million, guy.
04:21We are all blessed to be coaching and playing in the NFL.
04:25This is the guy who was talking about blood clots the other day.
04:29To get better.
04:30We've got 10 more games, and then we'll see after that.
04:33But, you know, just continue to be the same version of yourself.
04:40Profound.
04:42The great Nick Sirianni.
04:44Like Confucius.
04:45The Confucius of the NFL.
04:47Holy cow.
04:49I've got to tell you.
04:49Man, that guy is on a respirator right now.
04:52He is clearly on a respirator.
04:54How about that sorry-ass defense that you had, too?
04:58The Confucius of the NFL.
04:58The Confucius of the NFL.
04:58The Confucius of the NFL.
