00:00Let's play the game here, Z.
00:02If they lose this game tonight, they being the Eagles,
00:06will they be in a selling mode as they get closer to that first week in
00:11November when the trading deadline's there?
00:13Or do you think because the NFC East is right now maybe the worst division
00:18in the NFC right now, that they'll still continue to try to win this division?
00:24Sills, you always tell me as a sports talker, make a take, all right?
00:29Don't ride the fence.
00:30My take about tonight's game is the loser of the game is done.
00:37They're done for the year.
00:38If Dallas falls to 2-5, they're out of it.
00:42If the Eagles lose their fifth straight game and fall to 2-5,
00:47the team is done and dusted is the phrase we like to use.
00:50And that's kind of my thought on the game tonight.
00:52Neither of these teams are in a position to lose the game tonight.
00:56Dallas, you could make the argument, probably is in more of a muscle-in situation
01:00because if you're the Eagles, you look, you go, all right,
01:03we have tons of injuries.
01:04Jalen Hurts is out.
01:05This isn't our year.
01:06If you look over at the Giants who lead the East right now,
01:10they're on their third quarterback.
01:12There's a reason for them to say, okay, this isn't our year to win the East.
01:16The Commanders, I think, the same thing where their roster isn't as good.
01:19They now have some big injuries, Terry McLaurin being the latest.
01:22Dallas has no excuse.
01:23They have the offense that returned to everybody.
01:26They're fully, almost fully healthy, as healthy as they can be in Week 7 of the NFL.
01:32There's no excuse for that team.
01:34And if you're telling me you start 2-5 with this East and your entire roster is healthy,
01:40boy, there's no excuse there.
01:42Brian Schottenheimer's seat will be red hot.
01:44No question about it.
01:46I think you're going to start seeing a lot of Sixer jerseys there at Lincoln Financial tonight,
01:50especially if they lose this ballgame.
01:52Hey, it's Jeffrey Lurie night, the ultimate back-slapping tonight, going into his own Hall of Fame.
01:59So the question is this.
02:00Will he be booed or will he be cheered?
02:05He will be booed.
02:07He will be 100% booed.
02:10All right?
02:10I am a Philadelphia native through and through.
02:14This city, two things can be true.
02:18They can respect the success that Jeffrey Lurie has brought, right?
02:22Two Super Bowls, been to four, been one of the better teams in the 21st century.
02:26But at the same time, this is an emotional fan base in an emotional city.
02:30And it's a what-have-you-done-for-me-lately league.
02:33This team has lost four straight games.
02:35This offense stinks on ice.
02:37The team is, you know, not in a good spot.
02:41And then you add in the Jalen Hurts scenario that just unfolded the last 10 days.
02:44It's not good.
02:45And I think that right now will be top of mind for Eagle fans.
02:49And I expect to hear the booze rain down on Jeffrey Lurie this evening as he gets inducted
02:55into the Hall of Fame.
02:56Boy, I'll tell you, man, Big Dom's going to have a big night tonight.
03:00He's going to have to keep everybody at bay tonight here.
03:03Sirianni going nuts and also at halftime when Jeffrey Lurie goes into the Eagle Hall of Fame.
03:08Should be a great night tonight.
03:10I'm with you guys, man.
03:11I think this game's going to be closer.
03:13I think they're going to go out there and play a really tough football game tonight.
03:18And I don't know, man.
03:20I think that Cowboy team, they got a lot of pressure in this ballgame.
