00:00Three meteor showers and a supermoon? Here's one to look up this November.
00:04First, the southern and northern torrids overlap during the first half of the month.
00:07Each produces about five meteors an hour, but there's a reason to watch.
00:11They're known for bright fireballs.
00:13You don't have to catch one specific night either.
00:15Any clear night during that stretch could give you a chance.
00:17Then the Leonids peak the night of November 16th into the 17th,
00:21with up to 15 meteors an hour under ideal conditions.
00:24For the best of you, get away from city lights and give your eyes some time to adjust.
00:27Finally, Thanksgiving week brings a supermoon on November 24th.
00:31That's the beaver moon.
00:32It'll appear slightly bigger and brighter than usual,
00:34although the difference can be subtle.
00:36So save this so you have the dates and check or act your other forecast before heading outside.
