00:00A planet meet-up, the start of fall, and the harvest moon are all coming to the sky this September.
00:04First, wake up about an hour before sunrise on September 7th to see the crescent moon near Mars and Jupiter,
00:09with Orion glowing nearby.
00:11Then, on September 22nd, astronomical fall officially begins at 8.05 p.m. Eastern.
00:16And September 26th brings the harvest moon, the full moon closest to the fall equinox.
00:20It gets its name because its bright evening light historically gave farmers more time to harvest crops.
00:25Save this so you don't miss September's biggest celestial events.
