00:00Now, back to Stiney and Guru on 95.7 The Game.
00:04All righty, it's time for the crossover brought to you by Bay Alarm.
00:08Rest easy, we've got you covered.
00:09Bayalarm.com.
00:10Let's welcome in Willard and Dibbs, and I'll just set it up this way.
00:14I mean, Warriors 0-3 start.
00:17Valk's big win on Saturday in Game 4.
00:20Game 5 tonight, a chase.
00:22Monster game.
00:24Niners lose their first game of the year, 6-1.
00:27They're still 6-1.
00:29They lose to Atlanta.
00:31Start us off.
00:33Well, it's Niners, okay?
00:35Niners, football team.
00:36Don't be mad about it.
00:37I'm not mad.
00:37I'm just giving you an option.
00:38No, I'm including one.
00:40But you were a little mad in your video yesterday.
00:41Well, no, I'm telling them, I'm talking, how's he going to be?
00:45And then I go, we'll run it a little harder than I thought.
00:48Do you know what I've noticed about this job we do?
00:50You're not allowed to be anything.
00:53If I had come, what do you think would have happened if I had done an Instagram video
00:57and I was like, you know what?
00:59They're still 6-1, so I'm going to have oranges now.
01:02Oh, you would have got it, yeah.
01:04Oh, my God.
01:05I got you.
01:05You come out and say, you know what?
01:07They've had a phenomenal start to the season, but I was disappointed by what I watched yesterday.
01:13And then some of the comments are like, oh, I can't believe you're so negative about this team.
01:18They're going to come back and they're going to show you.
01:21You're going to eat those.
01:22I'm like, what on the hell?
01:24I will.
01:24I was disappointed by what I saw yesterday.
01:26They're a better team than the Falcons.
01:27Did you come at your guy as the president of Brockistan?
01:31Was he included in the video or did you keep it general?
01:34He was.
01:35You should join Instagram.
01:37I'm on Instagram, but you are muted.
01:39Yeah, you're muted.
01:40Anyway, sorry for all the happiness.
01:43But anyway, yeah, that was not his best game.
01:47I don't think he stood out as the problem by any stretch.
01:52And I don't really, you know what I mean?
01:53Like Patrick Mahomes was a stink bomb last night.
01:56I just think we've arrived at that.
01:58Like, so what?
01:59You got a great quarterback.
01:59They're not going to be like, you know what I mean?
02:02They're not going to be just unbelievable with their stats every game.
02:06Like, I didn't like that first pick.
02:08That was a bad decision.
02:11I think it was the right decision, but just a terrible way to execute it.
02:14You're probably stuck on the play, though, Kirk.
02:17And I don't think Brock threw him under the bus.
02:19I don't think he was throwing it to Cowling.
02:21I think he was throwing it to Christian Kirk, who was behind him.
02:23That's what he said.
02:24He didn't see Cowling's guy.
02:26You got to see Cowling.
02:27Like, it was a bad play.
02:28It was a bad play.
02:29I'm going to lay out.
02:29You've been giving me the business.
02:30You blamed it on Kirk.
02:32The other interception was a great play by the defender.
02:36That was phenomenal, man.
02:36And these things happen.
02:38But I don't, you know, I don't think Brock was awful.
02:40I don't think he was great.
02:41I think from a weaponry standpoint, that's as bad of a situation as you can be in.
02:46But the offense moved the ball.
02:48They turned it over four times.
02:50Davis, I got to commit you with this one.
02:5020 pressures from the Niners.
02:53D-line by committee the last two games.
02:55Two yesterday.
02:56And what shocked me is how Penix has been under duress their last two games.
03:01I just thought Raheem Morris going home.
03:03The team that fired him.
03:05Watch out.
03:06How did he avoid?
03:07They didn't touch him.
03:08Or was that goo?
03:09He was just getting rid of the ball in the millisecond.
03:11But they were, it was effective enough.
03:13It was both.
03:14But I do think that early in the game, especially, they were getting rid of the ball super fast.
03:18And it was, you know, Penix getting back and just boom.
03:21Quick out.
03:21You know, getting it out right away to Bijon.
03:23And then you had London, a little bit of pits.
03:26And I do think that it was partly that.
03:28But also, and we talked about this in the green room all last week, we talked about Height and Halton
03:34and Keon White.
03:35You know, they were great.
03:38But yesterday, I had to actually look to see if any of those guys actually played.
03:42And I know that Osa Odigizua did play.
03:45Because fourth and four, and you're going to, like, burst through the line.
03:48And you're going to jump offside for what?
03:51For who?
03:52To borrow from Stiney and his favorite Ricky Waters.
03:54And I think that when you look at the totality of what happened, yes, Brock had a couple of picks.
03:59You're right, Mark.
04:00The second pick was just great defense.
04:02A couple fumbles.
04:03He missed a couple throws.
04:04He made some great throws.
04:05But honestly, if you look at why they lost, and I'm looking at my notes right here.
04:10Second down and 20.
04:12And Atlanta is not yet on the move.
04:15And it's illegal contact, Mustafa.
04:17And so now that's a first down.
04:19And you had Jack Jones with a P.I. on third and eight.
04:22And he throws his hands up.
04:23Oh, P.I.?
04:25Wait, what?
04:25You grabbed him.
04:26You held him.
04:27He had a bad day.
04:28You tugged him.
04:29It was complete.
04:29Stat was missed.
04:30These were all penalties.
04:32I'm bothered by it from a different perspective.
04:34League-wide, when you stop a team on third and fourth down, don't cheer anymore.
04:39You've got to wait.
04:40Stiney said that last week.
04:41You've got to wait 11 seconds and find out if they fit.
04:44Like, the Washington game was coming to mind while I'm watching the Atlanta game.
04:48Because this happened at least three or four times that night.
04:51And, you know, the Lions-Packers game is getting a lot of attention.
04:54That was a joke.
04:55Ruffing the passer?
04:56It was just a case.
04:57I mean, apparently now you can rough the running back.
04:59Like, I didn't realize that that's a penalty.
05:01There was touching that happened in a football game.
05:05That's unfortunate.
05:06I hate touching.
05:07So, anyway, yeah, third and fourth down, fans, new rule.
05:10When your team stops the other team, don't cheer.
05:13You've got to wait.
05:14Just wait.
05:14You've got to wait 12 seconds.
05:15I brought it up last week.
05:16And then find out if the official.
05:17Did you know that they're on pace to beat the most flags per game in the history of the league
05:24by more than a full flag?
05:26More than a full flag per game.
05:28They don't even know how they're impacting the game from a fan perspective, man.
05:32Well, I'll just, you know, on this, it's like, yeah, that's a stat.
05:36Dibs, do you think the players are as dirty and, you know, just unknowing of the rules
05:43as we've ever had in our league?
05:46Maybe that's why there's so many penalties is because the league is, everybody's trying
05:51to get away with something and you can't, you can't let them do it.
05:56I don't really think it that way, personally.
06:00I think that you get into a spot where yesterday's game's a great example and you look at the
06:04first half and I'm looking at the notes here where the Niners actually start the game with
06:08your Hall of Famer in a false start.
06:10We talked about it.
06:117-1.
06:11And, you know, not his best game.
06:13Then you had a too many men in the huddle on Atlanta.
06:17And beyond that, I'm looking and it's hard to find even another penalty.
06:22And then the second half, now the flags come out.
06:24So I wonder about that part of it.
06:27And the one really that kind of stuck in my craw, shout out Brandon Crawford.
06:31And this is one where if I'm Shanahan, I would have totally lost it.
06:34But when Atlanta goes for the late substitution, they bring in the three tight ends and the
06:40Niners, they waited a second and then they decided to get their package in.
06:45And the umpire, he's supposed to run in and stand over the ball to make sure they had a
06:49chance to sub and they didn't.
06:52And so now it's going to be two flags.
06:54There are too many men and offsides.
06:56Well, yeah, no Schmidt, Sherlock.
06:58It's because you didn't let us sub.
07:00I mean, the only thing I'll say there is you said if you were Shanahan, you would have
07:03lost it.
07:04He did.
07:04He did.
07:05That was the play where you see the viral clip of him, in fact, arm barring Raheem
07:09Morris, which I didn't take it like I didn't take that as disrespectful.
07:13I took that as protecting your assistant because Raheem was about to go get the guy too.
07:18Yeah, that was there are so many things going on right now where you're watching the officials
07:23almost seemingly not know the rules.
07:26This is a few weeks in a row now.
07:29Not all their calls are bad by any stretch.
07:32Like some of these are real tough.
07:34The Jordan Watkins touchdown.
07:35I've watched it 4,332 times.
07:37Yep.
07:38And I can still see it both ways.
07:39When the Watkins catch before the touchdown.
07:42Yeah.
07:42Oh, it's a penalty.
07:44We're going to pick it up.
07:45He was hot.
07:46Remember, he thought he got hit in the head by Mustafa.
07:48Right.
07:48There was a flag and they're like, it ain't no flag.
07:50I think Mike Pereira explained it perfectly, which is to say, what?
07:54Because when you catch it and you put your foot down, you're no longer defenseless.
07:59And so it's a very fine line between when you are defenseless and now you're not.
08:04And so if Mustafa is able to like step in and do that, like, I don't know, 0.3 seconds
08:09earlier,
08:10now he's defenseless.
08:11Yeah.
08:11And also Drake London's going at him with his hat as much as the other way around.
08:16Like, in fact, we even saw that one get called.
08:19I don't know.
08:19Did you see the Houston Giants game?
08:21Cam Scadaboo is a running back.
08:23That bothered my soul.
08:24Got called for a penalty.
08:25He had a great game.
08:26That was terrible.
08:27For unnecessary roughness.
08:28Come on, man.
08:28For running a football.
08:29Yeah.
08:30Yeah.
08:30There are 11 people trying to kill you and you get called for.
08:33But they tried to bring that up a couple years ago to where they were going to,
08:36off the running back, can't leave with his hand.
08:39They got away with it.
08:40Yeah.
08:40But, I mean, anyway.
08:41I hear you.
08:42Anyway, the game, I thought, look.
08:45But he did survive the kids.
08:47Yeah.
08:48Okay.
08:48Dibs predicted this six months ago.
08:50You can fall back on that if you want.
08:53Five wide receivers out.
08:54There you go.
08:55You know, they lost.
08:56I even said it on Friday.
08:57Yeah, they lost an East Coast trip on a short week.
09:01I'm still disappointed with the effort.
09:02And, yeah, if I was going to circle one thing, I don't understand why the defensive line
09:07didn't play better.
09:07That was just an odd performance.
09:09I couldn't believe it.
09:10And four turnovers, you lose in the NFL.
09:12Yeah.
09:12I mean, really.
09:13And I was talking to Grandy about this before.
09:15Like, the fourth turnover, whatever.
09:17I mean, kiddo.
09:17I told him I don't care.
09:18Exactly.
09:19He needs offside kick.
09:20It was a classic peanut punch.
09:22And that happened.
09:23And whatever.
09:24You're probably going to lose anyway.
09:25You go ahead and you score.
09:27And you're down by two if you make the extra point.
09:31Wow.
09:31And we can talk about Eddie Pinheiro as we go.
09:34Because if you would have made the extra point, now you're only down eight.
09:38And I think the pressure shifts on Atlanta.
09:40Like, just knowing you're up two scores changes stuff.
09:43Yeah.
09:44And the tempo by which the Niners went about that last drive.
09:47So many things change by that one little point.
09:49I mean, if Kittle doesn't fumble, it's probable that Eddie Pinheiro is coming out on the field the very next
09:54play.
09:55Not to kick an extra point, but to kick a field goal.
09:58All right.
09:58All right.
09:58Because you want the time in order to then kick the onside kick.
10:02And who knows if he would have made said field goal.
10:05So...
10:06Are you worried about him?
10:07Where yet?
10:07Worried.
10:08If there aren't, at minimum, kicker tryouts during the bye, I will be shocked.
10:15Shocked.
10:15And here's why.
10:16I'm not telling you.
10:17Like, you got to at least make him compete for his job with these two weeks.
10:22Damn.
10:22They signed him to a four-year contract.
10:25That appears to be a very, very poor decision at this hour.
10:28I'm stunned how many people are like, well, you got to take a breath on Eddie.
10:32And then in the next breath, they're like, this front office better go all in at the trade deadline.
10:37If you're all in on a Super Bowl year, you don't keep a shaky kicker.
10:41It could ruin this.
10:43There is so much on the line.
10:45There's no patience, no time.
10:47I'm actually, I'm not there yet with Pinheiro.
10:50Better compete during the bye.
10:52Wheeler was there last week.
10:53He said one more miss.
10:55I'm bringing in kickers.
10:56Yeah, I'm bringing in kickers.
10:57I'm just, but it's just, what blows me away is the year this guy had last year.
11:04And not that you give him the contract and now he struggles.
11:08Just that he was so great last year and now he's struggling.
11:13And you may have to pull the plug halfway through the following season.
11:18You know, I think we probably would agree they hung tough with Moody.
11:22Moody as long as they could because they used a draft pick on him, right?
11:25A third rounder.
11:27Maybe you use that same philosophy a little bit with Pinheiro that, look, we just, you know,
11:33we expect this guy to be around for a few more years.
11:36So, we'll give him a little benefit of the doubt now, middle of the season.
11:41But once we get to week 10 or 11, if this thing doesn't correct itself, then we're going to have
11:45to do something drastic.
11:47Well, I mean, Mark called him shaky or maybe guru did.
11:50So, you can go from shaky back to Jakey because Jake Moody's out there.
11:55So, you're listening to 95.7 The Game, KGMZ FM and HD1 San Francisco and Odyssey Sports Station.
12:02Always live on the free Odyssey app and now broadcasting from the Laughing Monk Studios.
12:07The one thing I would say about the 49er turnovers, because I do look at kind of when they all
12:13occur.
12:13So, the black one occurs when you're up 14-9 and you're thinking, we're probably going to at least go
12:21up 17-9.
12:22All right, he fumbles and then they score to make it 14-12.
12:26It hurts.
12:28You're still in control of the game.
12:29I think the big issue was they went two possessions without getting the ball and they gave up 10 points.
12:35And now you're starting the second half, obviously down five.
12:40And the Falcons get the ball first.
12:42And the kick return of the coverage was poor yesterday.
12:45My gosh, start to think, and I'm like, come on.
12:47And I think Kyle looks at the Osa penalty like a turnover.
12:51Yeah.
12:51Like, they're going to get rid of the ball and then you let them keep the ball.
12:56That is, that is.
12:57He sets up to a two-over.
12:59Oh, hell yeah, he did.
12:59Twice.
13:00Twice.
13:00Kyle was hot.
13:02Kyle was hot in this game.
13:03Yeah, and to your point, Stiney, for me, yes, the black fumble was a big one because they then had
13:08the chance to double up.
13:09And they did.
13:10They get the three.
13:11They get the seven.
13:12And like you're talking about, Goo, they come out in the third quarter.
13:15They get the kickoff.
13:16And the man drops the ball.
13:17And he's able to go and pick it up and then get 41 more yards.
13:22And then they go down.
13:23They get a touchdown.
13:23But for me, it was the next turnover, the interception.
13:26We talked about it where you're clearly going to throw it away, Brock.
13:30Then you throw it away, but you don't.
13:32And because you didn't throw it away, you were already in field goal range, like field goal attempt range, I
13:37guess we have to call it now.
13:38Although Eddie's been more shaky on PATs and field goals.
13:42But that was the one to me that was kind of the crusher.
13:45That pitch.
13:46I got ripped for saying there's a correlation and some need to clean their ears between five receivers out for
13:53Brock Purdy in this game.
13:56So Brock had, you know, two interceptions.
13:58You can never have a good game to me with that.
14:01But you can't tell me that wasn't a byproduct of the first half.
14:04A Niner receiver didn't have a completion.
14:06I don't think that's on Brock.
14:08I'm thinking, okay.
14:10I love that.
14:11Who is it on then?
14:12I'm not saying it is on Brock.
14:14It's got to be on everybody, right?
14:17But I guess when guys like Mike Evans and the rest of the gang are out there, I'm like, did
14:21you see that throw?
14:22Did you see this throw?
14:23So I just, it didn't make Brock's job any easier.
14:26How about that?
14:27Like there's nuance to that conversation.
14:29Because if Mike Evans makes that catch, then do the Niner.
14:32I'm just saying, Mark, that's real.
14:34That was a great throw.
14:35Of course.
14:36But it's not, it's just not A to B.
14:38Like, George Kittle, I thought, was really interesting after the game talking about, like, that's the first time he can
14:44ever remember the 49ers coming into a game with four wide receivers.
14:48There are only four active.
14:49They don't do that.
14:50And that the game plan was wildly different.
14:53So they knew that McCaffrey was going to have to sort of be somewhat of a slot receiver.
14:58And he started out fast.
14:59And he started out fast.
15:00Oh, my God.
15:00And then he leaves the game.
15:01And now where does your game plan go?
15:04Right.
15:04They were still moving the ball.
15:06But when you turn the ball over, it makes it feel, obviously, so much less than.
15:11But that narrative we came out of the Commander's game with, which is they can't move the ball without Mike
15:17Evans.
15:18They walked out onto the field and did their hot knife through butter thing again in the first quarter.
15:22That black 30-yard run.
15:24I was like, look at him, Dibs.
15:25In the opening drive, I'm just looking at it.
15:27It was CMC the first four plays, then black, CMC, black, black, black, CMC.
15:34Like, you didn't even use the tight ends.
15:35It was all running backs all the time.
15:37So I'm not going to look at the loss and say, oh, if you only would have had a wide
15:41receiver.
15:42Kyle Shanahan, I think, did a good job of game planning for what he actually did have.
15:46And, you know, Christian Kirk, I'm told, played in the game.
15:50I'm having a hard time remembering anything that he actually did, other than he was running around on the pick
15:57that he was thrown by Brock Burney.
15:59He was the intended receiver on the interception.
16:00And I'll say this, like, Jordan Watkins, you get to stay.
16:05Like, if we're going to go ahead and, you know, not vote people off the island, but vote people in,
16:10he was awesome.
16:11And I know the big catch, it was, oh, you know, he didn't get that one.
16:15That's why you can't get awesome.
16:16And I'm shocked you're giving him awesome.
16:18It was awesome.
16:19It was awesome.
16:20Awesome you catch that ball.
16:22Well, which one?
16:22The one in the end zone.
16:24The one before that, he caught.
16:26It was a great catch.
16:27I thought that it was an actual catch, but, you know, a little bit loosey-goosey.
16:31And then the one in the end zone, he goes so high for that ball, he gets both feet down.
16:35And, yes, the ball was a little bit dislodged, but those efforts, to me, phenomenal.
16:41And he also had the really big one that was down the seam when it was, you know, two tight
16:45ends and two running backs.
16:46And they had to throw the end.
16:47And if Brock actually leads him a little bit further, he probably scores.
16:51I agree.
16:51He's a keeper.
16:52Also, if the Niners are blessed with health, he is a deactivated player at the end of this year.
16:58Because Jacob Cowling is your punt returner.
17:01And your other four receivers are going to, hopefully, my gosh, fingers crossed, Mike Evans, Debo Samuel, Demarcus Robinson, and
17:08Dejan Stribling.
17:09That's what I hope for.
17:11But, yeah, he's a good option if and when one of those is not there.
17:16I actually kind of agree with the whole – I'm not – like, I thought the offense was fine.
17:23What was wrong with the offense?
17:24Well, black fumbles when you're probably going to go up eight points.
17:30And then, think about this for a sec.
17:34You get down without touching the ball.
17:38And you committed three turnovers in the last quarter and a half after getting down.
17:45You know what I mean?
17:46Like, you can't win that game.
17:48And you still had a chance.
17:49You did, but you didn't because you turned it over three times in the last, you know, 20 minutes of
17:57that game, not including the one that happened just before half.
18:01So, if you just look at it in that microcosm, you know, the last 35 minutes of that game, they
18:06committed four turnovers.
18:09All game.
18:10And once on downs, too.
18:11Yeah, I didn't say that.
18:13You had the fourth down play, and I guess you're down 12 at that point.
18:16After the overturned touchdown.
18:17Right, and after the Watkins play that we thought was a catch, but it wasn't.
18:22So, it's fourth and 10 at the 23.
18:24You're in the fourth quarter.
18:25You're down by 12.
18:27If you kick the field goal, well, great.
18:29Big fish dinner.
18:30You're still down by nine, which is two scores.
18:32So, I get it.
18:33You kind of have to go.
18:33I'd love to get your guys' perspective on this because I got to do a bop, bop, bop, bop with
18:39Ephraim last night over that play.
18:42That decision.
18:42The fourth and 10.
18:43Fourth and 10.
18:44I think I might have heard this.
18:45I was going out to get takeout for the family.
18:47He passionately believes that the 49ers should have kicked the field goal there.
18:52From an emotional standpoint, I'm sitting there going, dude, you got 11, 20-something to go in the ball game.
18:59If you walk away with three to cut it to nine, to me that feels devastating.
19:04But he goes, it feels more devastating to come away with nothing.
19:09And he goes, and if you do look at the way the game played out, you did have two more
19:14possessions.
19:15Your defense did come out and stop them twice.
19:18Actually, three possessions.
19:19And so, like, what he said, and to his credit, he texted me at that moment.
19:25He goes, what the hell is he doing going for it on fourth and 10?
19:28I go, they're down by 12.
19:30He goes, you watch.
19:32So you're saying that last, but they would have only needed the field goal to tie.
19:35Correct.
19:36And I, just for fun, I went and asked AI for the analytics on it.
19:43And AI did say, if you kick a field goal there and make it, your chances of winning the game
19:48are 12% to 15%.
19:50If you go for it on fourth and 10, your chances of winning the game are 8% to 10%.
19:55So it's close.
19:57I don't know to what level that's even, that matters.
20:00But just for fun, I wanted to learn about what was at play there.
20:04Because the field goal didn't even occur to me down 12.
20:07No, I, when I saw it, I thought, I get it.
20:11They got, you know, why they're going for it here.
20:13However, you know, you, it doesn't take a genius to do the math.
20:17And, hey, we get a, we get three here, three and out.
20:21Because that's what you got to kind of bank on.
20:23Which is what they did.
20:24Yeah.
20:25I'm like, well, we didn't know Michael Penich was going to fumble the snap.
20:28You know what I mean?
20:29He didn't fumble it.
20:29He had no chance of even catching it.
20:31You know what I mean.
20:31He did good.
20:32Fallen.
20:33Exactly.
20:33I'm like, if I had known the next play was going to be minus 12 yards, I might have agreed
20:37with you.
20:38I think, anyway, I think the question is, like, I don't think he didn't kick the field goal
20:43because he was worried about Pinheiro at that point.
20:46But moving forward, you wonder, do they have to kind of, you know, lean that way more on fourth down
20:55when they're in that part of the field?
20:57I agree with you, but I also think that's part of the puzzle.
21:01Like, if in that moment, if you're like, okay, fourth and 10, because Ephraim was like, look, if it's fourth
21:06and three, yeah, go for it.
21:07Right.
21:08But it's fourth and 10.
21:09Like, what are the percentages of getting fourth and 10 at the 23?
21:13Three, but are you coming, are you also thinking, God, I could send Eddie out there and he's going to
21:18do it for the thing anyway.
21:19Anyway.
21:20Can you tell Ephraim, I can see both sides there.
21:22I will.
21:23For you, Stiney.
21:24I can actually.
21:25But he ended up like, that would only needed a field goal on that last one.
21:29And I'm saying you don't throw a pig, but man.
21:31And then how are you feeling?
21:32Trot Eddie out down by two.
21:34Well, that part.
21:34Well, you were, in that case, you were asking for two Eddie Pinheiro field goals.
21:40One would be a game winner, and he's got to make an extra point in between.
21:44Correct.
21:45And if he doesn't make the extra point, now we're going to overtime.
21:47And what about the Greg Olsen, I don't know if you heard, the jinx.
21:50Right before he missed the extra point, Olsen goes, yeah, he's missed one today, but it was actually the Atlantic
21:55kicker.
21:56And he goes, oh, he corrected himself.
21:58And then the next play, your boy misses the extra point.
22:02They were like, announcer jinx.
22:03But man, that ain't De Niro's problems.
22:06He's got bigger fish to fry.
22:07But I'll tell you what, if you move on, and you bring in somebody named Dan Dibley, and they're just
22:12a mess, like we've seen before in the NFL,
22:15then I think that would be worse than you sticking with Pinheiro, man.
22:18Like I said, to me, it's bring kickers in.
22:21You've got two weeks of practice.
22:23Put some pressure on him.
22:24And he knows that there's pressure on him.
22:26He's a kicker in the NFL.
22:27He's going to watch film.
22:29Yeah.
22:29But, yeah, did you see that quote?
22:31Yep.
22:33Watch film.
22:34I'm like, what are you going to find out that your shoelaces were out of place?
22:40It's like anything else.
22:41It's all about technique.
22:42And so if you want to, and I've gone through now three times, as you know, I watched the game
22:47repeatedly.
22:48His misses are the same.
22:50And it's like, you're a golfer.
22:52He's pulling it.
22:52It's everything is going to the left.
22:53And is it because you're overcompensating and trying to swing the leg too hard?
22:57You can look at the film and see what his problem was.
23:01I just went to Sunday Swing in Moraga, one of these great indoor golf facilities.
23:06And we're going through, and I'm hitting balls.
23:08And every time after you take a shot, you look at the video, and the coach is like, yeah, look,
23:13you're swaying.
23:14And I'm swaying.
23:15So he's like, you know, focus on the inside of your right foot.
23:17And so now I'm not swaying.
23:19And he's like, no, look, see?
23:20You're hinging your arm too much at the top.
23:22Is this a real instructor?
23:24Oh, no.
23:25He actually played college golf at Stanford with a guy named Tiger Woods.
23:30You're getting a lesson?
23:31Nota Begay.
23:32It's not so much a lesson as it is like real-time feedback.
23:35Wait, you got feedback from Nota Begay?
23:37No, this is a guy who played with Nota Begay, Casey Barton, Tiger Woods, Stanford.
23:42You're familiar with him.
23:43So much like my golf game, Eddie Pinero, he needs to go in and go to the lab, Goo.
23:49Yeah, so why were people laughing about him saying he had to go to the lab all day?
23:52Because it sounds ridiculous.
23:54It does.
23:54Like, go to the range and figure it out.
23:58Like, what are we doing?
23:59Kick the ball straight.
24:00You've been doing this for how many years?
24:02I think 10 years.
24:04Don't forget, Kyle Harrison fixed his problems after really going and looking hard.
24:08And Milwaukee fixed his problems.
24:09And then they came back.
24:11Like, everybody go check and see.
24:13You might notice that Kyle Harrison's not getting any postseason starts.
24:17Monday Night Football World Series.
24:18Well, I haven't played any big games yet.
24:19Monday Night Football Warriors World Series.
24:22And Vox.
24:23Good Lord, man.
24:25This is what a dream.
24:26I will be going straight to a sports bar, and I can't wait to see how they allocate the
24:32delegations.
24:33You know what that would be, right?
24:34What happened?
24:34Do the allocations.
24:35I forgot to tell a story.
24:36Tell a story.
24:37We got time.
24:38You may not have time, but we do.
24:40Yeah, we had time when you said anything.
24:41So, Friday night, Friday, I was messing around the city, going to a bar, and getting ready
24:50for the Warriors Memphis home opener.
24:52And it was the Lark Bar.
24:53I go in there, and it's like, the World Series is on all the bars, like all the bar screens.
25:00So, there's a guy sitting next to me watching the game, and I go up to the bartender, and
25:04I say, are the Warriors game on at all?
25:08And she said, yeah, it's behind you, which it was.
25:12It was behind me.
25:14And this guy goes, we're not watching the Warriors here.
25:17We're watching the world.
25:18Nobody cares about the Warriors.
25:19It's a World Series.
25:20I said, yeah, I get that.
25:25I said, I just wanted to see if it was on somewhere, and it is in back of me, because
25:29we're not watching them here.
25:31Nobody cares about the Warriors.
25:32And Mark, I said, this is a time to be a grown-up.
25:37I put my hand on the fat man from out of town, clearly a tourist, ugly tourist, and I said,
25:44you have a good day, young man.
25:46I'll catch you later.
25:48But I was hot.
25:49You let him win.
25:50No, I didn't.
25:51No, no, no.
25:51No, I did not let him win.
25:53I'll be too old to be scrappy.
25:53The forum got the win.
25:55Yeah, you're right.
25:55And you know who didn't go viral?
25:57Steining.
25:58Yeah, you're right.
25:58That's on Friday.
25:59Oh, that would have been so great.
26:00Because who's not locked into Rays and Brewers?
26:03I did go up to him the last time, and I said, lastly, pal, I wasn't asking, I said, I
26:11wasn't
26:11asking for you to change the channel.
26:13I'm actually a sports talk radio host, and I find it fascinating that the game isn't on
26:19the Warriors' home opener.
26:21They used to be kings around here.
26:23What did he say to that?
26:25Sports talk radio host.
26:26You think I care that you're a sports talk radio host?
26:29Yes, who is this dude?
26:30Are you kidding me?
26:30No, I'm dead serious.
26:31What a bleephole.
26:32And that's when I said, who is this guy?
26:35I feel like I know him, but there is a drunk, fat tourist is who he was.
26:39Are you sure he was a tourist?
26:41I'll tell you if I ever see him again.
26:43Because if he's around these parts, he better look over his shoulder.
26:46I don't like the way he treated you.
26:48I immediately texted my buddies in a group, and I said, your boy just is very proud of
26:53himself right now.
26:54I love you, Captain High Road.
26:56That wouldn't have happened if Google was actually.
26:58Did you actually call him pal?
27:00I might have.
27:01I hope you did.
27:02Oh, that's a Stiney move.
27:04We're not watching that.
27:05Like, we're at your house.
27:06Man, that's the other thing.
27:07It's like, huh, okay.
27:09So he's in the city, and he's like offended by the concept of the home team having a game
27:15on.
27:16You imbecile.
27:16Home opener.
27:17I wish I had your decorum.
27:19I had a moment Saturday where I could have used your high road decorum.
27:24You should have left him with a, go Warriors!
27:26I want this guy thrown out, even though it was four days ago.
27:30I want him.
27:30Warriors!
27:31All right.
27:32You're my guru, sir.
27:33Anyway, my advice to everybody out there, don't go viral if you don't have to.
27:3995's having the game.
27:40Have a great week.
27:41This guy is such a D.
27:42This guy is such a D.
