Everybody tells you to eat more kale for fiber, but let's be honest, kale isn't the food of anybody's dreams. The good news is you don't have to lean on kale alone.
In this short video I walk through three vegetables that actually taste good and still pull their weight on fiber. Broccoli gives you about 5 grams per cooked cup and is great lightly sauteed in avocado oil. Brussels sprouts come in around 4 grams per cooked cup and get really good roasted with avocado oil and your favorite seasoning. Raw carrots bring about 3.6 grams per cup and are easy to add to almost anything.
More fiber with your meals is a simple way to support steadier blood sugar and a happier gut. Keep the kale if you like it, and mix these in too.
Let's get healthy together.
