00:00And those Cleveland Guardians, I should say, have a 2-1 lead in that series, Bob.
00:05I mean, a little bit surprised there.
00:07I thought the Rays would really kind of control this series.
00:10But this Guardians team, man, I mean, they really are really battling the Rays here.
00:14Do you think this thing goes seven?
00:17I think, yeah, it definitely goes back to Tampa.
00:19I really do.
00:21I've been lucky with my picks so far.
00:22Now you know I've got every series right.
00:24I picked the Rays to win this thing.
00:27I actually picked the Rays to win this in five.
00:29I just think Cleveland would be so tired, exhausted.
00:32I think the Rays are the best team in the American League.
00:34They have proven that all year.
00:36So I think if Cleveland wins this series, it would be almost as big an upset as, you know, the
00:42Brewers and Dodgers.
00:43So I still think this thing goes back to Tampa.
00:46You know, we'll see.
00:47The Rays are awfully good.
00:49Does any of the American League teams, do any of these teams have a shot at that Brewers team or
00:54the Brewer team?
00:55Are they just on a heater right now, Bob?
00:58No, it's only on a heater.
00:59I think the Rays would have a better chance to beat the Brewers than Cleveland would.
01:04The one thing that's going to hurt the Brewers is a long layoff.
01:07Now you're talking eight days between games.
01:10I saw the Washington Nationals got away with it.
01:12I've seen teams like Detroit Tigers fall apart because of it.
01:16So it'll be interesting to see how they handle this.
01:18But you can get rusty in a hurry here.
01:20That's a long layoff.
01:22So the television networks, I mean, wow.
01:26You've got three of the lowest payroll teams in all of baseball.
01:30You've got small market baseball teams now.
01:33How do you think Major League Baseball and the networks are looking at this?
01:37I mean, this is a big obstacle here.
01:39Look, you and me, we're traditionalists.
01:41I love this.
01:42I think this is what baseball is all about.
01:44But again, this is a money thing here, too, when it comes to these networks.
01:48How do you think they're taking these three teams right now, two of them battling for the ALCS?
01:54I think they're drinking heavily right now because they know this is going to be the lowest World Series rating
01:59of all time.
02:00It's not going to be close.
02:01The worst one we've had is Texas Rangers, Arizona Diamondbacks.
02:05This would be worse.
02:07And what hurts, too, is a long layoff.
02:09You know, people kind of lose interest.
02:11Oh, baseball is still going on.
02:13You know, with the Brewers and Dodgers ending so early, they really need the ALCS to go seven games to
02:19help it out some.
02:21But, yeah, when it's all said and done, all that talk about the Dodgers, are they bad for baseball?
02:25Well, it turns out they're great for baseball because they're great for ratings and everything else.
02:29So there's going to be little interest in this one.
02:33This is the first time in, I think, in history, you know, at least ALCS, NLCS history, there were no
02:40national newspapers that covered the ALCS.
02:43It kind of shows you where the interest lies.
02:47Holy cow, really?
02:48Nobody's covering the ALCS.
02:50And, by the way, you mentioned, Bob, you mentioned this, too.
02:55So one of the games is going to be played on – ALCS is going to be played on Packers
03:01and Cowboys night for the NFL?
03:05Yeah, I was on some Milwaukee radio station the other day, and they said,
03:08what do you think about Fox not doing the World Series game, too?
03:12I see what you're talking about.
03:13They said, I think they're going to do the Packers game, Packers-Cowboys.
03:17It starts at 730, so about the same time as the World Series.
03:20So that World Series game went FS1.
03:23And I said, you know what, it makes sense.
03:25I said, there's going to be some Brewer fans watching that Packer-Cowboy game, too.
03:30Two huge names in football.
03:33So, yeah, it'll be fascinating to see the ratings for that one.
