00:00Yeah, well, and the Blue Jays now, after that 7-1 loss last night,
00:04they've lost five of their last six.
00:07They're last in the American League East.
00:09They're five and a half games back of that last wild card spot.
00:12Five teams ahead of them that you saw on that list.
00:16So the postseason hopes are fading, and they're fading rather quickly here, Greg,
00:21which, again, I didn't – I thought they'd take a step back,
00:25but this is when Guerrero's only got five or six home runs
00:28by the time we hit middle of July, there's something going on here with the Blue Jays.
00:34The Rays, well, guys like Rasmussen, although his last couple of starts
00:40looks like he's kind of hit that middle of the season wall there.
00:44He's given up 11 earned in seven and a third.
00:47That was against the Yankees and the Astros.
00:50The Blue Jays are not hitting like those two teams,
00:53so this could be the right place at the right time.
00:56But the Rays – I mean, the home road splits are ridiculous, Greg.
01:01When you look at what the Rays do on the road versus what they do at the TROP,
01:06it's kind of crazy considering they spent the entire year last year
01:10basically on the road.
01:12And maybe that's why they didn't make it last year because of that.
01:16Because this year, they've been almost unbeatable there.
01:20And every little trade they make seems to – most of them seem to work out in their factor,
01:26in their favor, excuse me.
01:28Like the one that didn't in the last few years is Christopher Sanchez.
01:31People don't realize that he was on Tampa Bay and they traded him to Philadelphia.
01:34But look, they made that trade.
01:36They traded Taj Bradley in the offseason.
01:38Everyone's like, what are you doing?
01:39Why are you trading him?
01:40They get Griffin Jacks.
01:41It's like, for what?
01:42A reliever?
01:43All of a sudden, Griffin Jacks is now in the starting rotation for Tampa Bay.
01:47You mentioned Rasmussen.
01:48He's been very good for them.
01:49Nick Martinez, with all of the free agent busts there are this season,
01:53that guy's been great for Tampa Bay this year.
01:56You know, their closer, no one's ever heard of going into this year.
02:00He made the all-star team.
02:01And Baker, he throws a fastball and a changeup,
02:03and it looks like it's coming in exactly the same speed.
02:06And they play that little small ball at the trop.
02:09It seems like they're bunting the ball down or hitting it on the ground,
02:11beating out balls to first base.
02:13And then when they go on the road, they're not the same team.
02:15I mean, that's as clear as day.
02:16I think they have one of the most home wins in baseball
02:18and have one of the worst road records.
02:20So it'll be very important, I think, Joe, for them to win that division.
02:24Because if they do, that will get them an American League division series,
02:27potentially, or even a wild card series at home and in the trop.
02:31And I would not bet against them in a five-game series
02:33where they have three home games there.
02:35I think they got a good shot to advance.
02:38Now, once again, bullpen phenomenal for them this year.
02:42I mean, they're getting big starts out of jacks,
02:46trying to convert him from the bullpen into the rotation.
02:49But Nick Martinez, I'm with you, man.
02:51Just really, I don't think anybody saw that coming.
02:55He has been tremendous for them.
02:58Top of that lineup is great.
03:01And Toronto and Gausman, listen, he's been going through it this year.
03:04He's not what he once was.
03:06They're going to have their hands full here tonight.
03:09Pretty much even money across the board.
03:11I mean, 110 on both sides, seeing that total at 7.5.
03:16And, you know, again, if it ain't broke, Greg, I don't feel like fixing it.
03:20It doesn't feel like Tampa Bay is broke here in any way, shape, or form.
