00:11interviews today and we are with Pierre van Dijk. Hello Pierre. Hi. As you've been
00:17chair of the 3D committee B2 overhead lines for two years could you please
00:21tell us how was this past two years precisely? The last two years have been
00:26extremely busy very interesting as you may guess I came in this position just
00:34after the pandemic so the because of the pandemic the progress of the working
00:39group reports was a little bit affected but at the same time we learned to be
00:44more agile with virtual meetings so I would say that today we are more agile
00:49and progressing more swiftly and so during the last two years we published our
00:57fifth green book dedicated to compact overhead lines so we published in
01:052023 three technical brochures I expect that we'll publish three more in 2024 and
01:12we'll reach the mark for the next technical brochure we'll reach the mark of our 100
01:17technical brochure which is a great achievement and so we started we
01:24launched four working groups since the beginning of 2024 and lastly next year in
01:30March we will join the Sigrid initiative, Sigrid Academy initiative and we'll give
01:36tutorials in Ghana where I hope we'll be able to establish a good relationship with
01:42utilities industries and academics. Many many things thank you and could you
01:47explain to us what is the work of the study committee B2 on a daily basis and
01:52what is its aim goal? Yes with 550 experts from 45 countries and in fact 33
02:00working group actually study committee B2 is a very big group but fortunately I have a
02:06good good team behind me to help me manage a study committee B2 for example
02:11Vivek Shari who is the secretary of B2 helps me to deal with the day-to-day emails
02:18and everything for B2 and so Shailah San is the convener of customer advisory group so
02:26it takes care of the term of reference that we receive so to before we start a
02:31new working group and so I have a four convener for technical advisory group the
02:38first one being TAG 04 led by Javier Iglesias on electrical performance the second
02:45one TAG 05 on the foundation and insulators and foundations and led by Joe Da Silva the
02:52third one by led by Martha Landera on mechanical behavior of overhead I'm sorry
02:58mechanical behavior of conductors and accessories TAG 06 and then finally TAG 07
03:06led by Ballint Nemeth on asset management including robotics and just finishing I want
03:15to invite everybody to Montreal next year where CIGRI Canada and ADU Quebec will host a symposium
03:222025 in September October and I will be very happy I hope everybody will be there thank you
