00:00Did you know the Bible talks about real giants?
00:03It starts in Genesis chapter 6, verse 4.
00:06There were giants in the earth in those days.
00:09They were called the Nephilim,
00:11the children of the sons of God and the daughters of men,
00:14men of great size and great wickedness.
00:18After the flood, they appear again.
00:20When Moses sent spies into the promised land,
00:23they came back terrified.
00:25They said, we saw the giants there,
00:27the sons of Onik.
00:28We felt like grasshoppers next to them.
00:31The most famous giant was Goliath of Gath,
00:34six cubits and a span tall.
00:36That's over nine feet tall.
00:39A young David defeated him with a single stone.
00:42And there was King Og of Bashan.
00:44The Bible says his bed was 13 feet long.
