01:33there's been a violent and bloody attack in the cockpit of a commercial jetliner in the middle east
01:38one pilot attacked another pilot while the plane was in the air on its way to tel aviv the prime

01:541073 was en route from dubai to tel aviv carrying dozens of israeli passengers for reasons we don't
02:02know the pilot stabbed one of the pilots stabbed another pilot and there was chaos on board until
02:07passengers and crew members barged into the cockpit and intervened
02:18a bloody passenger on board the plane says in hebrew we have taken control of the terrorists then the
02:25video shows two men on the floor of the plane wounded and bleeding here's what happened according
02:32to israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu one of the pilots on board used a knife to stab another
02:38pilot while the plane was flying over saudi arabia his goal was to crash the plane and kill all the
02:43passengers the plane issued an emergency alert at 8 44 a.m local time israel scrambled war planes

03:2316 000 feet in just two minutes it made an erratic circle along the border between saudi arabia and
03:29jordan then the additional air crew members safely landed the plane in tabuk saudi arabia everyone on
03:36board is now out of danger the attacking pilot has been arrested at ben-gurion airport in tel aviv

03:49daughter by phone about what happened on board that plane the plane start to lose control so all the

04:35um from my understanding cockpits lock from the inside so you can no longer unlock a cockpit from the
04:43outside of the cockpit right um a pilot would have to let you in from the inside um but obviously

06:55this social media post with you this is from fox news stating that netanyahu the prime minister of
07:01israel says a pilot on a flight from dubai to israel stabbed the other pilot and apparently attempted to
07:09crash the aircraft but was overpowered by a passenger and crew member we do have more information on
07:16this that i did want to bring you at this point in time as a pilot stabbed another pilot and
07:22then
07:22apparently tried to crash the aircraft carrying dozens of israelis earlier today that is according to
07:29israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu who shared this information just moments ago passengers and
07:35crew subdued the attacker and the plane eventually made an emergency landing in saudi arabia now netanyahu said
07:43that saudi arabia had arrested the pilot of a fly dubai flight he said quote i salute these heroes who
07:51showed exceptional resourcefulness and courage they saved many lives and prevented a major disaster now
07:59this particular flight was traveling from the united arab emirates to israel it did land safety but israel
08:07believes that there may have been an attempt to attack israelis and that investigation is ongoing
08:13so the timeline for this is as follows around two and a half hours after leaving dubai the plane sent
08:20an
08:20emergency alert that's according to a publicly available flight tracking system the flight abruptly
08:28descended from 33 000 feet to 17 000 feet in just about the space of a minute before making an
08:38erratic
08:38circle close to the jordanian border and then eventually landing into book about an hour later
08:44according to flight radar 24 now there has been some video footage circulating it has been reviewed by
08:52the associated press it shows two men on the floor of the plane with bloody wounds two people appear to
08:59be
08:59providing emergency medical treatment while two guards two others guard the cockpit and there is a person
09:06who says in hebrew quote we are guarding the pilot and then you can hear passengers crying out in distress
09:13as the aircraft shakes so the aircraft captain and the first officer were injured they were taken to a
09:20hospital that's according to a statement from the prince sultan passengers were receiving medical
09:26attention from local authorities that's according to a regional official but we did want to share that
09:33statement from israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu as a flight between pilots on a commercial plane
09:40traveling from the uae to israel forced the aircraft to make an emergency landing in saudi arabia earlier today
09:48and that raises concerns about a possible hijacking of a plane yeah so i mean man what are you guys

11:14and was either going to crash it or landed somewhere to take some hostages i think that
