01:23And just in the last week, I've learned that his campaign has reached my own home.

01:38Someone who has done nothing wrong other than having the temerity to advocate for what she believes in.
01:45If they can't intimidate me, they'll go after the mother of our children.

03:49FBI infiltrated Gavin Newsom's inner circle by convincing Governor's ally to wear a wire.

04:13The FBI had a mole inside Gavin Newsom's political orbit before the agency's corruption probe expanded into the governor and
04:20his wife.
04:22Democrat insider Alexis Podesta, 45, secretly recorded conversations during the criminal probe into Newsom's then chief of staff, Dana Williamson,

04:34who pleaded guilty to federal fraud and tax charges in Maine.
04:40Wow.
04:44Alexis Podesta has been playing ball with the feds while continuing to be paid by the state.
04:51The revelation she was wearing a wire as far back as June of 2024.

05:52Back as far as June 24 explains why a swath of Sacramento political insiders and lobbyists were stunned to receive
06:00FBI letters last fall, informing them that their phone calls had been intercepted during the investigation, despite many having little
06:09or no connection to Williamson.
06:12Alexis wore a wire and Dana did not said McGregor, Scott Williamson's lawyer and a former U.S. attorney for
06:20the Eastern District of California, which is now investigating the Newsoms.
06:24The disclosure comes as Newsom announced last month that he and his wife, whose nonprofit has been burning through money
06:32in recent years, as well as members of the governor's inner circle are under federal investigation.
06:40Within hours of that announcement, Newsom blasted out an email to raise money for political action for political action committee
06:47assembly member, Josh Hoover.
06:54Republican folk folk folk folk told the post he was among those who received one of the letters, even though
07:00he had never spoke with either Williamson or Podesta.
07:05A lot of people received letters essentially informing us that we were certain periods of time where the FBI was
07:12given access to follow phone calls, Hoover said.
07:15I don't know how this investigation works, but it sounds like they cast a pretty broad net across the Capitol
07:21community to see what they could find.

08:51A separate source with knowledge of the matter said they knew of four Sacramento insiders who also received FBI notifications,
08:58confirming they had been recorded.
09:01Run recipient told the source, dude, I got this effing letter.
09:05I never even met with Dana Williamson.
09:08Their curiosity was that they never even met with Dana,
09:12so they were wondering what this is all about, the source said.

09:22The governor publicly accused President Trump of directing the Justice Department to investigate him
09:27as political retaliation of head of a possible 2028 presidential campaign.
09:33Trump had previously called for Newsom's arrest,
09:36but sources familiar with the matter told the Post that federal investigators have spent the past year
09:40digging into not only Newsom, but also his staff and his wife's taxes,
09:46leading Seibel Newsom to accuse Trump of having no boundaries.
09:53Whistleblowers reportedly tipped off the feds to launch the probe into Newsom,
09:57and Williamson's attorney told the Post that his client declined to cooperate
10:01because she had no information on Newsom.
10:06Yeah.
10:08So, this lady, Alexis, was wearing a wire going around all of them.
10:18So, they definitely got some information.
10:22They definitely have a whole, whole lot of information on Newsom.
10:30And, another thing is, this had nothing to do with Trump.
10:34So, him coming out and blaming Trump is going to fall on deaf ears,
10:39like, as it did before, as you guys saw in that very first clip.
10:42But, when he's finally arrested, it's going to fall on deaf ears
10:45because Trump had nothing to do with the beginning of the investigation in the first place.
10:49This started under the Biden and Kamala Harris administration,
10:52and I personally think it was Kamala Harris that pushed this forth when she took over
10:58or when she knew it was inevitable that she was going to take over
11:03because I can't remember exactly when it was that she kind of took over the party.
11:09I don't remember the exact, you know, months and days and whatnot,
11:13but I would figure June was pretty darn close, if not after she basically became the nominee.
11:22Because, at first, it was Joe Biden, which, that was horrible for the Democrat Party.
11:28But, I can't remember exactly when.
11:29So, either after she took over or when she knew it was going to happen,
11:34I think she got in contact with some folks and, like, set this in motion.
