00:00Democrats are going to have to deal with this group. I don't like the idea of them using
00:04Democratic. I think that we should be, as Democratic Party, should be fighting against
00:09that and saying, you know, you shouldn't be using the word Democratic in your moniker,
00:13in your title. That's us. That's not you. The Democrats are going to have to.
00:20Yeah, ladies and gentlemen, we got to talk about the Democrat Party once again,
00:24because the Civil War has silently begun. And I shouldn't say, I guess I shouldn't say you say
00:32even silently because there's been more and more Democrat officials, as you just saw there in that
00:38first clip. There's been more and more that have come out and just said it. We need to separate
00:45ourselves from these folks. And that first clip was a Democrat representative. I don't know how to say
00:52his last name, but his first name is Tom, who just said that, right? So yeah, this is going to
00:59get
01:00quite interesting because I'll admit, I'll be the first to admit, at first, you know, I thought the
01:04Democrat Party was absolutely cooked. The communists had taken over the party completely and there was
01:09nothing that could be done about it. But now, maybe, just maybe, they may eventually take their
01:19party back. We shall see. We shall see. But let's jump into this a little bit because, like I said,
01:25you have more and more Democrat officials saying the quiet part out loud.
01:30Hi, Mark. Of New Jersey. Congressman, what's your overall response to what we just heard from
01:35Sheikh Sadiq? Well, it seems pretty clear. The first thing, and you asked, are you part of the
01:39Democratic Party? It sounds like he was doing everything he could to avoid answering that question.
01:44And to the point that some have made, I think the socialists are just using the Democrats as a
01:49vehicle right now. And he seemed to confirm that. This is my bigger concern. I think the point here
01:55that socialists aren't Democrats. I think they're not interested in actually seeing the success of
02:01the Democratic Party. And they've attacked our leadership. And as you just quoted, Jake, right?
02:06I mean, some of the positions, many of the positions are nowhere near what we believe, right? I mean,
02:12no police, no borders, no prisons. It's that kind of rhetoric, which obviously belongs in. And again,
02:18that's OK. That's their views. But it's in the Socialist Party, not in the Democratic Party.
02:23But what's your what's your response to the other point that he made, which was that, you know,
02:28they are trying to argue for more popular policies than have been delivered by the Democratic Party,
02:36universal child care in New York, for example, increasing the minimum wage.
02:41Speaking of universal child care, Mom Donnie has started this, I don't know, daycare service,
02:49I guess, where, you know, you can bring your kids up to one of several parks in New York City
02:57and just drop your kids off for up to, I think it was four hours or something with some government
03:02official and they'll watch your kids for you. And I'm like, hmm, that just don't even sound right.
03:14Just at a park with somebody that I really don't know.
03:20Sure, they might be in the government, but
03:27that just sounds suspicious, you know, what are y'all doing?
03:33What are you doing?
03:34You know, but I don't know.
03:36Y'all let me know.
03:37Here is James Carville as well. Check it out.
03:40Mr. Valiant, I'm in the New York Times
03:45reported, and I have the quote right here, I'll get to it.
03:49She is against, passed off all their views.
03:55She has attacked interracial relationships in the American flag.
04:00Lady, I ain't in the same party as you.
04:02I'm sorry.
04:04I'm just not.
04:05And I actually do think
04:07it's time
04:09for Democrats to talk
04:11the S-word, schism.
04:13I really do.
04:14Everybody has always said, no, no,
04:17we're a coalition, we're a big tent.
04:20And there's just some shit
04:22that I can't be in the same tent with.
04:24And we talk about what
04:25was three for three last night
04:27in Manhattan.
04:29They call it the commie corridor.
04:31Fine.
04:32Jason Crowe's service
04:34pack, vote bets,
04:3610 for 11.
04:37You wouldn't know Jason Crowe exists.
04:39No, you wouldn't.
04:40You wouldn't know
04:41how Bill Sandberg exists.
04:43You wouldn't know.
04:44I want to be very specific.
04:45I understand the free press
04:48for being here
04:49because
04:49if they nominated David Duke
04:52or something like that,
04:52we'd be the same way.
04:54I understand all that.
04:55To the extent I understand the Times
04:58because they are the New York Times,
04:59so they have to cover
05:00that they are
05:02the hometown newspaper.
05:04But the idea,
05:06the idea
05:07that we must neglect
05:09everything else
05:10that's going on,
05:11all of these other primaries,
05:13all the recruits Jason has,
05:14all huge, phenomenal successes
05:16we've had
05:17and declared that the party
05:18is now under the control
05:20of a Democratic Socialist
05:22of New York City
05:23is insane.
05:25But
05:26understand,
05:28these people
05:28do not like Democrats.
05:30Not only are they not Democrats,
05:32they wish Democrats poorly.
05:36Say the quiet part out loud.
05:38I mean,
05:39across the board,
05:40you got John Fetterman,
05:41you got Hakeem Jeffries,
05:43I mean,
05:44so on and so on.
05:45And you also have
05:47Third Way,
05:48which is
05:50a group
05:52actually,
05:53I'll just let him
05:53tell you for himself
05:55because this
05:56is really quite interesting
05:58because now
05:58we're talking about
05:59spending money
06:00to,
06:01you know,
06:02go against
06:03these communists
06:05from a Democrat.
06:07So Democrats
06:08are spending money
06:09to fight against
06:12so-called
06:13other Democrats.
06:15This is getting
06:16quite interesting.
06:17Check it out.
06:17Republicans running
06:18against Democratic Socialists
06:19have found an unlikely ally,
06:21other Democrats.
06:23The centrist Democrat
06:24think tank Third Way
06:25has pledged
06:26$15 million
06:27to discredit
06:28the DSA movement
06:29between now and 2028.
06:31Jonathan Count
06:32is the president
06:32of Third Way
06:33and joins us now.
06:34Jonathan,
06:34thanks for being here.
06:35So you told
06:35the New York Times
06:36this includes
06:37candidates like
06:38Abdul El-Sayed
06:39who are not part
06:40of the DSA.
06:41He won the Michigan
06:42primary last,
06:43yesterday,
06:44last night.
06:44I don't even know
06:45what day it is.
06:46Does that mean
06:46this is just
06:47a campaign against
06:48the more progressive
06:49wing of your party?
06:51Absolutely not.
06:52So,
06:53look,
06:53our bottom line
06:54is this,
06:55and we are a centrist
06:56Democratic organization.
06:57The DSA
06:58and its platform
07:00are crazy,
07:01radically in the extreme,
07:03and they will do
07:03severe damage
07:04to Democrats
07:05up and down
07:06the ballot
07:06from the White House
07:07in 2028
07:08all the way
07:08through the House
07:09and the Senate.
07:10These are crazy ideas
07:12that no one supports.
07:13They're anti-American,
07:14they're deeply illiberal,
07:15and they're wildly
07:17unpopular.
07:17But would it be
07:18your preference
07:20to have
07:21some of these
07:22DSA candidates
07:23in the House
07:24and the Senate
07:25to give Democrats
07:25an extra vote,
07:26or would you prefer
07:27that person
07:27to be a Republican?
07:29Look,
07:30we're a centrist
07:31Democratic organization.
07:32We believe
07:33that you need
07:34to put a check
07:34on Trump
07:35and MAGA,
07:36which means
07:36you need majorities
07:37in the House
07:38and the Senate.
07:38But we do not believe
07:40that the DSA
07:41and its ideas
07:42are good
07:43for Democrats
07:44long run.
07:45We believe
07:46that if Democrats
07:47cozy up
07:47to the DSA,
07:49are part of the DSA,
07:50take the DSA's support,
07:51that will ultimately
07:52make it impossible
07:53to win the White House,
07:55and it will harm
07:55Democratic majorities
07:56in the long run.
07:58Look.
07:58I think you should have
07:58launched this campaign
07:59prior to the primaries?
08:02Great question.
08:03I wish I had.
08:04I certainly wish I had.
08:07But look,
08:07Third Way as an organization
08:09took on Bernie Sanders
08:10in 2016 and 2020
08:12in the Democratic primaries,
08:13and we were the lead
08:14outside organization
08:15taking on Sanders,
08:16and we helped to beat him
08:17both times.
08:18So this is not
08:19a new fight for us.
08:20Ever sat down with them
08:21to say, hey,
08:22how can we all play nice
08:23in this big tent?
08:26Never sat down with them.
08:27I'd imagine the DSA
08:28has no interest
08:29in working with me.
08:31No, they don't.
08:33They don't.
08:34I think they've made
08:35that completely clear.
08:36These folks are
08:38batch crazy.
08:40Oh, man.
08:42This is...
08:45You know,
08:46this is almost better
08:48than...
08:49Well, I shouldn't say
08:51almost.
08:51It is.
08:52This is better
08:53than reality TV.
08:54That isn't really reality,
08:56but that's what they call it.
08:58Reality television.
09:00I want to throw this up
09:02on your screen.
09:03Moderate Democrats
09:04prepare for war
09:05against an ascendant left.
09:09Yeah.
09:10Articles are now
09:11dropping
09:12about all of this stuff.
09:14Whole articles
09:17about
09:18the Democrat Civil War.
09:23Yeah.
09:27Absolutely wild,
09:28wild stuff.
09:30So, you know,
09:31like I said before,
09:33this is going to be interesting
09:34to watch play out.
09:35Who comes out on top?
09:37You know,
09:38and I've been flipping
09:39back and forth.
09:40I'm still probably
09:41going to flip back and forth
09:42because, you know,
09:43I know I said
09:44whoever won
09:45the Michigan primary
09:47was going to be
09:48in control of the party,
09:50and I do think
09:51the communists
09:52are in control
09:53of the party
09:53as of right now.
09:55They are.
09:56Right now.
09:58But,
09:58I do think
09:59post-midterms
10:01when these folks
10:03get spanked,
10:05right,
10:07electorally,
10:08of course,
10:09that's going to change.
10:11If things
10:12keep going
10:13in this trajectory
10:14where you have Democrats
10:15that are like,
10:16yeah,
10:16we're not getting in bed
10:18with these folks,
10:19which I fully expect,
10:20and I expect it
10:21to get worse
10:22after they lose
10:23because now
10:23they're going to be pissed.
10:24Like,
10:24bro,
10:24y'all caused us to lose.
10:26You know,
10:27especially like
10:27the Michigan seat,
10:28for example,
10:29that is a blue seat
10:30and should,
10:32well,
10:34I don't want it to,
10:35but it should remain
10:36a blue seat.
10:37But because
10:39the communists
10:39won the primary,
10:41it's highly likely
10:42that it could flip red.
10:44And when that happens,
10:46now you're in a bad situation
10:50if you were the communists.
10:53Right?
10:54And so,
10:54that's going to be interesting
10:55to watch play out.
10:56Now,
10:56I don't expect them
10:57to back down
10:58even when the Democrat Party
10:59establishment says,
11:00hey,
11:00you guys are causing us
11:01to lose races.
11:02They're going to say
11:03some gobbledygook nonsense,
11:05but hey,
11:06it is what it is.
11:07Y'all get in the comments.
11:08Let me know your thoughts
11:08and your opinions.
11:09As always,
11:10stay safe out there.
11:10Peace and love.
11:11I'm out.
