00:00In this video I will show you how to create a restore point in Windows 11.
00:05To do this from your desktop what you want to do is come to your search box in the task
00:09bar at the bottom and in here just simply type create a restore point.
00:14Now underneath best match you should see create a restore point come up, give that a click
00:18and that's going to open up a window like this.
00:21From here select the drive that you want to create a restore point for and make sure you
00:25do have system protection turned on.
00:27If you don't have this turned on click to highlight your drive and then click on to
00:31configure and you're going to see here an option to turn on system protection.
00:35So select that option make sure to click apply and ok to apply the changes and once that's
00:39done you can click the create button just down here which is going to open this window where
00:44you can create a restore point.
00:47So what you need to do is type a description to help you identify the restore point.
00:51This could maybe be the date or just something to help you remember the restore point.
00:55Once you've done that click on to create and as you can see it's going to get to work and
01:00create a restore point.
01:02After a minute or two you're going to get a message saying the restore point was created
01:05successfully so we can click on to close and you can see the system restore button here.
01:10If we give this a click we can click on to next and you can see our created restore point
01:15is now added to our restore point list.
01:18So that is how to create a restore point on Windows 11.
