00:00Aujourd'hui, c'est l'équipe de G1 Climax A-Block.
00:07Il y a une victoire de 30 minutes.
00:30Kodobushi, looking for the three-peat.
00:47Kodobushi looking to battle his way back from a bout of aspiration pneumonia
00:57that took a bout of action for quite a while.
01:08They were supposed to meet at Wrestle Grand Slam in Tokyo Dome,
01:12the two men here tonight in our main event for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
01:17On the left corner, 3勝2敗, 8.6.
01:21G1 Climax 29-30,
01:26181cm 93kg, Ibushi Kotao!
01:33As Ibushi hears it from the crowd, 3-2 record overall at 6 points.
01:40That loss to Yujiro at the start of the tournament could come back to haunt Kodobushi.
01:46Kodobushi.
02:21Shingo Takagi's right arm
02:25hyperextended, forced him to submit to Zack Sabre Jr.
02:29Kenta had the same idea in mind.
02:32Destroy the right arm of Shingo and submit him with game over.
02:37But unlike the Zack match, Shingo was able to power through, fight to the finish line
02:42and defeat Kenta in his last with last to the Dragon.
02:47What kind of shape is that right arm in?
02:50I doubt good.
02:53These two men last met a year ago in Hiroshima in this tournament.
02:59Shingo Takagi getting the win.
03:07But this time, Ibushi faces the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.
03:30Shingo is 11-2 folks in singles batches in the last six months.
03:54Shingo's year got off to an amazing start, beating Jeff Cobb in Wrestle Kingdom.
04:00It was here in Aichi in the last days of January that Hiroshi Tanahashi defeated it
04:06for the Never Openweight Championship.
04:08But then the run of success in the New Japan Cup eventually culminating
04:18in a IWGP World Heavyweight Championship victory when the title was declared vacant,
04:25defeating Kazuchika Okada at Dominion in June.
04:3417-4 this calendar year.
04:3621-6 over the last year.
04:39These are just singles matches for Shingo.
04:4111-2 over the last six months.
04:448-1 over the last 90 days.
04:46I had said nobody had a better first half of a calendar year ever in New Japan than Shingo.
04:51He's showing no signs of slowing down.
04:53In fact, he's getting stronger.
04:55How far has Ibushi come back from aspiration pneumonia physically, mentally?
05:02Is he over those hurdles?
05:05We're about to find out.
05:41Cautious start.
05:47Collar and elbow tie-up.
05:51Ibushi's got to avoid the power of Shingo.
05:52Shingo's got to avoid the kicks and strikes from Ibushi.
05:56Backed into the ropes.
05:57Rancho Zuno, our official, call for a clean break and we'll get one.
06:03Ibushi not only back-to-back G1 Climax Tournament winner,
06:08but the first ever to make three finals in a row.
06:17Swing and a miss.
06:23Side headlock.
06:26Shingo kept right there.
06:27Shingo using the tights for the leverage as he wrenches on the side headlock.
06:42The power of Shingo on display there.
06:47Drop down by Ibushi.
06:49Lots of a leapfrog, but a tackle answer.
06:52Shingo just paused for a split second and Ibushi was wide open.
07:01Dropping that right elbow.
07:04And the senton Ibushi out of the way.
07:07Side headlock takeover.
07:09Head scissors.
07:10Kick out.
07:11Drop camera.
07:12Shingo goes down.
07:35Ibushi, the first IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.
07:38He was there at ringside as Will Ospreay, Shingo, Takagi battled in the final of the New Japan Cup.
07:43Seemed like Ibushi wanted to wrestle Shingo.
07:46Unable to get that opportunity.
07:48Ooh, caught with that elbow.
07:55Then Ospreay unseated Ibushi and made his first successful title defense against Shingo.
08:06Elevated up and over.
08:10Springboard missile dropkick, but Shingo, oh wait a minute, blindside.
08:16Pumping bobber, my goodness, Ibushi never saw it coming.
08:30Shingo on his toes coming forward.
08:33And Ibushi driven all the way to the floor right out in front of us.
08:46Shingo looking to push the pace as they come outside.
09:05Shingo looking to push the pace as they come outside.
09:06Get off the apron.
09:15And up on the shoulders and drops him.
09:23Ibushi bouncing off the edge of the ring.
09:25And Red Shoes has now seen enough.
09:27He wants to let these athletes play through as much as possible.
09:33But at the same time, calling for them to get back in the ring.
09:39So Red Shoes will begin the count.
09:46And hearing the referee's words, rolling him in, but a knee into the gut on his way in over the
09:54top rope.
10:02Of course, Osprey had to forfeit the World Heavyweight Championship because of back injury.
10:07There's the power of Shingo with the vertical suplex.
10:10He will go right to the cover here.
10:12No, he goes to cover for the rear chin lock.
10:20So once Osprey forfeited the title because of injury, Shingo and Okada met for the vacant world title at Dominion.
10:30Shingo victorious.
10:32And Shingo said, I want my first defense to be against Kota Ibushi.
10:37No problem there.
10:38But then Ibushi was sidelined with Aspiration Pneumonia.
10:47So these two have been wanting to go for the longest time, all the way since back in March.
10:57Backdrop suplex.
11:01And now we finally get our Shingo-Ibushi match here in the G1.
11:22Shingo with the cravat.
11:26And Ibushi will back into the ropes.
11:40Hangzhan follows in.
11:42And a DDT on the back end.
11:46Now he'll hook the leg, too.
11:48This match changed.
11:52Not with just power from Shingo, but also with speed as he flew across.
11:58Catch caught Ibushi in the blind side.
12:11And Ibushi, you can hear, really sensing that frustration.
12:18Elbows raining down.
12:20Now the knee.
12:30Takes his time so well.
12:32But when he explodes, man, he is just lightning quick with everything he does.
12:53Oh, Ibushi got buckled there.
13:02Uh-oh.
13:03Oh, Ibushi lightened him up.
13:08The sweat flies off of Shingo, and the mid-kick puts him down.
13:12Almost a trance-like state that Ibushi gets into.
13:18Before the physical reality of the punishment he has absorbed reclaims him, puts him down.
13:24But now, Ibushi, but Shingo leaping on top of him.
13:30Keep him grounded.
13:45Another back suplex this time.
13:46Ibushi widens the base.
13:52Ibushi spins all the way up over the top, but gets caught with a lightning-fast elbow.
13:56But now, snap Rana takes him over.
13:59The hurt can Rana.
13:59The answer from Kota Ibushi.
14:09And Ibushi peering and seeing that Shingo is out on the floor.
14:19Wow!
14:21Wow!
14:22My God!
14:23Spectacular Acai Munson.
14:31We're okay?

14:36Sous-titrage MFP.
15:18Sous-titrage MFP.
15:57Sous-titrage MFP.
16:17Sous-titrage MFP.
16:20Shingo's been quicker to the punch.
16:23Pop-up.
16:24Death Valley driver.
16:32So not only does Shingo have the strength advantage and it's a power edge, but he has been quicker
16:36to the point of impact than Kota Ibushi thus far.
16:46Tries to sue, oh man, how about that?
16:52Two.
16:53And Ibushi rolls out after that neck breaker.
16:56One.

18:33What snap in that kick, my goodness.
18:52Let's see who wants it more.
18:59Both men able to withstand the shots.
19:11Each derrick, the other.
19:13Give me your best.
19:14Double-handed chop.
19:19Ibushi refuses to go down.
19:21Now a combo of kicks from the Golden Star.
19:24But Shingo stops that.
19:26Dragon screw leg whip.
19:3415 minutes.
19:39Ooh, got caught.
19:50Kicks that right arm.
19:51And now Ibushi, for the first time, a pair of kicks into the right arm.
19:57Hey, hey, oh my god.
20:02Ibushi's up.
20:03German suplex.
20:05Shingo.
20:06Ooh, blind side.
20:09What an exchange from both men.
20:27The first IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.
20:30Kota Ibushi, the current IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, Shingo Takagi.
20:36This is our main event tonight.
20:38A block action in the G1 Climax Tournament.
20:48And Ibushi set on the top rope.
20:50Looks like Shingo's gonna be able to move offensively here.
20:53Could be looking superplex.
20:56Wait a minute, Ibushi firing back downstairs then up.
21:00Shingo using his hand as a battering ram.
21:11All the way to the top.
21:13Here we go.
21:16And a superplex!
21:25Shingo crawling to the cover.

21:55But for the left hand side, Shingo true.
21:58And Ibushi down.
22:00He's on!
22:11Oh, wait!
22:15Breaking the grip.

22:39Red Shoes letting both know it was two and only two.
22:43The match is not over.
22:51One ball!
23:01One ball!
23:04Now looking for the last of the dragon.
23:06If he hits it, it's over.
23:08Wait a minute.
23:10Ibushi answering with some knees.
23:14Ooh!
23:15How about that?
23:16Blocked the knee breaker.
23:19And threw that right knee up.
23:20Caught Shinko on the chin.
23:27Ibushi defeated Yano the other night with a blindside reverse Kamigoye.

24:50Kamagoye on the way, Kamagoye, Kama, no!
24:55Shingo twists the arms together, blocks the path,
24:58Ibushi pulls them apart.
25:07Ibushi trying to outpower Shingo.
25:13Oh, straight right.
25:17And now Shingo.
25:20Oh, how about that knee strike.
25:26What an answer by Shingo Takagi.

26:03A look into the eyes of Kota Ibushi.
26:10Shingo Takagi fighting through the pain of a right elbow that has been the target of opponents in the G1.
