00:12C'est parti !
00:251, 2,

00:50There are very few universal truths, not just in professional wrestling,
00:55mais en la vie en même temps.
00:57Mais une chose qui est encore déprimé.
01:00Pour faire le impossible,
01:02vous devez faire le impossible.
01:05À un point dans Yuuya Uemura's career,
01:07la New Japan Cup victoire,
01:09c'était comme une impossibilité.
01:11Juste bien ici aujourd'hui,
01:13la Shingo Takaki victoire peut être le même.
01:20Si Yuuya Uemura
01:22doit rejoindre la semi-final pour la première fois
01:25dans sa vie.
01:26Il doit être un homme qu'il n'a jamais été
01:29en avant.
01:31Uemura doit mettre dans Yamanashie's
01:34en Shingo Takaki.
02:08a 3 et 0 record
02:09will go the way of Shingo Takaki
02:12walking into tonight
02:133 previous singles matches
02:15against Yuuya Uemura.
02:16One of which being whenever Uemura was a young lion coming out of the Noge Dojo system.
02:24Action in New Japan Cup 2024.
02:26Defenses of the Never Open Weight Championship.
02:29Shingo Takagi has found victory every step of the way.
02:32But one could argue wrestling fans that Shingo Takagi has never faced off against this version of Yuya Uemura.
02:40The most dangerous version of Yuya Uemura to come today.
02:44While Takagi will hear the words, heat storm, accusing Yuya Uemura of looking more like a heat stove to warm
02:53up this chilly March evening.
02:55Shingo Takagi has to defeat Uemura on his lonesome.
03:07Aumura Unbound Company.
03:26Shingo Takagi.
03:30Shingo Takagi.
03:33Shingo Takagi.
03:46The Yamanashi native himself, the Rampage Dragon, Shingo Takagi.
03:52You can certainly see the Shingo section is alive and in living color here tonight.
03:57We have over 1,000 jam-packed here tonight into IMSI Yamanashi for the action that is set before us
04:03here.
04:04And Takagi wants to defeat Yuya Uemura just as he has.
04:09Not once, not twice, but three times over in his career.
04:19Bell sounds were officially underway.
04:23One fall, no time limit here tonight.
04:36A very vocal minority for Yuya Uemura, but an overwhelming majority.
04:41goes the way of the Rampage Dragon.
04:44This is something that we talked about in the past few nights of New Japan Pro Wrestling action fans.
04:49The fact that Yuya Uemura was going to be walking into this matchup in the underdog position in more ways
04:55than one.
04:56The fact that the people will not be there for Yuya Uemura in the beginning stages of this matchup.
05:01Does that do anything to Yuya Uemura's mentality?
05:04The question will certainly be answered in the opening moments here.
05:15The pointed, cold, and bitter words of Shingo Takagi in the past few nights of post-match comments.
05:22Referring to the heat storm, Yuya Uemura as a heat stove.
05:27Claimed that Yuya Uemura cannot call himself the sun.
05:30Said that Yuya Uemura did not light up that crowd any more than Tomoaki Honma did in the preliminary matches
05:36that we saw.
05:36Between Unbound Company and Uemura and Honma, respectively.
05:41Meanwhile, Yuya Uemura has not had much comment on these heat stove allegations.
05:45But rather, a lot of the talking is set to be done inside the ring here.
05:48Covered down for one, says Shingo Takagi.
05:51As Yuya Uemura, an incredible, incredible technical athlete that we are going to find here.
05:56A man that we talk about all the time.
05:58So deeply rooted in the fundamentals of what it means to be a professional wrestler.
06:02So if there is a man who is going to come close to meeting those fundamentals on an even playing
06:10field,
06:10it is going to be the former Dragon Gate trainee.
06:14The man that is known as Shingo Takagi.
06:18Whoa, it's a side headlock taken in.
06:20Sinched in tight there by Uemura Takagi.
06:25And off the ropes here one more time.
06:27Takagi going to take control of the headlock.
06:29Watch it again.
06:29This one's going to pick up pace right here.
06:31And whenever it gets to the strike game, you know Takagi is going to be the one to favor.
06:36But when it comes to the pure technical wrestling style, I really do have to wonder who's going to win
06:41out the end.
06:42What did we talk about just now?
06:44The power on the side of the Rampage Dragon.
06:48And as long as Shingo can keep things explosive, keep things moving forward,
06:53he very well may have the edge over Uemura.
07:01It's the first time that these two men ever went one-on-one.
07:03It was July of 2021.
07:05A Kizuna Road event back in Cork and Hall.
07:08Shingo Takagi put down a young lion.
07:10Uemura a little bit over 11 minutes on the clock.
07:13Oh, it's a stiff elbow drop, fights the cover, only a one count.
07:17And Takagi right back on for the senton.
07:20That should lead to a little bit more than one.
07:27Flash forward a little bit, an excursion over on the American Independent Wrestling.
07:30Seeing a stint over and total non-stop action for Yuya Uemura would then find Uemura returning to in-ring
07:37competition.
07:37New Japan Cup 2024.
07:40Let's see Shingo Takagi put down Yuya Uemura in round one of the tournament.
07:50And with a 2-0 record two months down the line, Yuya Uemura would try and find retribution for that
07:56New Japan Cup loss.
07:58He's challenged Shingo for, at the time, what was his never-opened weight championship in May of 2024.
08:03Yet again, another loss for Shingo Takagi.
08:05Or rather, another loss for Yuya Uemura.
08:08And Shingo Takagi walks in tonight knowing that, well, he has really all of the mental paces down pat.
08:15Knows that he is the man who has put Uemura down, not once, not twice, but three times.
08:21The amount that the world has been talking about, this new generation of men like Uemura, men like Ryohei Oyewa.
08:28Shingo Takagi is not ready whatsoever to be left in the past of those conversations.
08:37Judging by the sound of this audience here tonight, Yamanashi is not ready to leave Shingo Takagi in the past
08:42either.
08:48What sits on the line here tonight for Shingo Takagi, to step opposite a man that he also represents the
08:55same unit with,
08:56Unbound Company's Yodosuji, to stand opposite Yodosuji for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.
09:02A title which he has technically held in his career, but a belt in that beautiful V4 rendition recently returned
09:08this year.
09:10Shingo Takagi has never helped, one that truly holds a symbol of excellence.
09:16Takagi would love to stand opposite Tsuji, have an All-Unbound Company main event.
09:21And at Ryogoku, Sumo Hall, but to get there, he has to get to the semifinal.
09:25He has to win the cup cover here, only finds two for Shingo.
09:32Not, not, not.
09:52Shingo trying to get his hips deep underneath him.
09:54Uwamora, such an incredible counter wrestler.
09:57Something that we've really come to notice as of recent with this young man.
10:00Man, yeah, just like that, Shingo was trying to go for that southpaw lariat, and
10:05Uwamora, beautiful divorce court.
10:07Good God, did you hear the snap on that?
10:13And again, Uwamora, the more that Yuya can scout out Shingo Takagi's best offense.
10:20Man, that is going to be a rough go of it for the Rampage Dragon.
10:26We know that Shingo Takagi really favors a few lariats every now and again.
10:31That pumping bomber could come from the right arm.
10:33The southpaw variation, the Urakhan-style lariat, could come from the left.
10:39Uwamora trying to disengage, not just the left arm, but the right as well.
10:44And it's really difficult for Shingo to know which body part do I tend to at a time.
10:49That's what Uwamora is going to try and force Shingo into here.
10:54That's Uwamora now, getting a little bit impatient.
10:57And I don't like seeing that out of Yuya right now.
10:59Cannot afford to do so, but maybe so.
11:02Maybe that aggression is what Yuya needs here.
11:07Watch it.
11:08Bam, big shot right into the barricade again.
11:26Wow, that left arm right here, that's what Uwamora needs.
11:33Added aggression, really something that maybe Yuya was missing within that first year of returning from excursion.
11:40That would include the last two singles matches that we saw for Uwamora against Takagi.
11:44Back in New Japan Cup 2024, and back at Resurgence in Ontario, that May.
11:52Uwamora has gone through a lot of transformations since then.
11:55Inside the ring, outside the ring, personally and professionally, everywhere in between.
12:01It was a career-altering injury, a career-altering injury for the better for Uwamora in that year's G1 Climax.
12:08A G1 that Yuya and Shingo would not need it.
12:12Yes, look at that.
12:14Uwamora is back better than ever, really very well may become the future star of this organization.
12:22But to call yourself a star, you must call yourself a champion.
12:25To call yourself a champion, you must win the cup.
12:28That's all the path that Yodosuji took to get to the position that he's in in the modern day.
12:37Now Uwamora really keeping Shingo Takagi tied up here tight.
12:41No, no, no, no.
12:50Takagi has to be feeling right now what we have been talking about for some time now.
12:54The fact that the same Uwamora, well, this isn't the same Uwamora.

19:14Un knife-edge take-down pour Yuya Lamoura,
19:17on Shingo Takagi, le right arm et a world of pain.
19:2215 minutes deep into this matchup,
19:24we have no time limit here tonight.
19:26The winner of this match seals their deal
19:28into the semi-final of New Japan Cup.
19:32La la la la la.
19:34Applaudissements
20:04Oh, and Oomora, Oomora back to hold reliable, that left arm of the ropes here for Yuya.
20:12Back elbow popped in, Oomora stands to fight, both men go for blow.
20:19And Yuya Oomora gets the better of that exchange.
20:50Yuya Oomora, German suplex.
20:56Watch Takagi, big backdrop driver.
20:59Oomora got one of his own.
21:02Neither man stomping in the tracks.
21:05Cap suplex knocks Yuya Oomora.
21:11Watch Takagi.
21:14Brought right into a brick wall.
21:16Oomora with those two feet so magnificent.
21:18Set.
21:19Go, go, go, go.
21:22Go, go, go!
21:27Go, go, go.
21:34Go, go!
21:35Go, go, go, go!
21:57L'Amoura a été looking for this dragon suplex all throughout this match.
22:01The weak in left arm, the weak in right arm.
22:05L'Amoura may be in clutch position.
22:15Watch out, no, got that back elbow, but think about the damage that just did to Shingo.
22:21Right jab after right jab.
22:24Shingo Takagi wants to be on the right side of the result.
22:28Dragon suplex!
22:47Yuyo Amoura, we're gonna take it from the heavens here.
23:15Shingo Takagi could be the one to walk away with the win all over the world.
23:21Over again.
23:28Ho, ho, ho, ho, Southern Cross from Takagi.
23:34Now right back into position, driving away, Takagi, Takagi, no!
23:43Made in Japan and it was not enough to find victory here on the evening.
23:49Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho!
23:57L'Amoura!
23:58If you want to fall, let's go!
24:20Elbow for elbow, forearm for forearm,
24:23and it's all being eaten into the jaw of Yuya Uemura.
24:29God, good God.
24:37No, no, no, Uemura, Uemura's got it.
24:42The Heat Storm looking for the Deadpool.
24:47Takagi, Takagi.
24:48No, over the top goes Uemura.
24:54Twenty minutes deep, these men are gonna go all night.
24:58Oh, big bomber.
25:07Shingo Takagi.
25:12Burning dragon, burning dragon.
25:15One, two, three, four.
25:19No.
25:25The dragon very well may burn by the end of the night.
25:31The heat storm is rolling into Yamanashi.
25:42Man, these two men are throwing everything into this matchup.
25:51The only way to write your destiny is to have your hand raised to the heavens you reach for.
26:05And Takagi, Takagi again.
26:07Gonna be looking for the kill shot, last of the dragon, could be inbound.
26:13On the shoulder, on the shoulder.
26:15Uemura, Uemura, Uemura, trying to grab that weak and right arm, but instead.
26:30Uemura, Uemura's captured.
26:31Yeah.
26:33And now trying to break the grip of the rampage dragon, breathe fire.
26:37Yeah.
26:39Turn up the heat tonight in Yamanashi, one of these two men is going to the semifinal.
26:49On this hold right now, this might be cutting off the oxygen.
26:53Cutting off the blood flow rather than the brain.
26:56Shingo Takagi is worse for wear, that right thigh, pushing over the carotid.
27:03Shingo trying to find separation, must find the escape, the escape, Uemura, that bolt.
27:13Shingo stop fighting.
27:14Shingo.
27:20Shingo.
27:26Shingo.
27:33Shingo.
27:35Shingo.
27:36Shingo.
27:37Shingo.
