00:02Today we're rolling out a new Tesla Supercharging feature.
00:05The normal operation, plug in the handle, sit in the car,
00:08when you're done charging you get out unplug the handle and you can drive away.
00:11But should you find yourself needing to exit the scene more urgently,
00:14we're rolling out emergency drive away.
00:16So this will enable you to override that and drive away while the handle is still connected.
00:20You'll shift into drive, it will activate an emergency drive away alert.
00:24The handle will break away and fall on the ground, but you'll be able to carry on.
00:28This is a peace of mind feature, not to be used lightly, but it's there should you need it.
00:33And it's rolling out over the air now.
