00:00Good afternoon, everyone.
00:02Thanks for joining us today.
00:05Every vehicle becomes part of someone's life.
00:10And as designers, we come with responsibility.
00:15Because great design is not just seen, it is felt.
00:20For the all-new Tucson, we want people to feel two things.
00:26Confidence.
00:27Comfort.
00:28And they shape everything you see here tonight.
00:33Our exterior design journey began with what we call Art of Steel.
00:40By pushing steel to its limits,
00:43we reveal the full potential of its strength, tension, and precision.
00:50A powerful design statement.
00:53And tonight, Art of Steel reaches its boldest expression yet.
00:58Tucson's boldest character starts with proportions.
01:05It is 2.4 inches longer, 1.6 inches wider, with an additional 1.2 inches in the wheelbase.
01:16This allowed us to create a silhouette that feels stronger, more grounded, and unmistakably SUV.
01:29And the fenders play an important role that too...
01:34It's great, isn't it?
01:36It's great, isn't it?
01:37Hybrid.
01:38Hybrid.
01:38Here, Tucson's boldness becomes physical.
01:41They're deep, tense, and dominant, as if steel's inherent energy is captured within the volume itself.
01:51But there's more behind these vendors.
01:56They say something about how we work as a one team.
02:02Because achieving this extreme draw depth is more than a design decision.
02:08It demands advanced press forming and a real manufacturing capability.
02:15It is the result of design and manufacturing aligning on one goal and choosing to push the limit together.
02:23And our effort did not stop at the press.
02:29Inspired by architectural lighting, the age as lighting reinforces Tucson's width and presence.
02:39Combined with a soft layer of indirect lighting, it adds depth and sophistication to horizontal graphic.
02:49Further enhancing Tucson's bold and high-tech character.
02:55This expression continues at the rear, where the prism rear lamp creates a distinctive signature,
03:04with light resting at the edge of the transparent lens while revealing an intricate pattern within.
03:13And the same sense of refinement is shown in the color.
03:18We developed tones that hold depth under challenging, changing the light, sharpening the sculpture and strengthen the volume.
03:32And the one we see here is finished driftwood gray matte.
03:38A deep, earth-inspired gray that gives the body its quiet confidence.
03:45Inside, confidence takes on a different form.
03:51Throughout our interior, design language is called Art of Comfort.
03:58We create a space that feels calm, intuitive and reassuring.
04:05We do inspiration from the clarity of well-organized workspace where everything feels exactly where it should be.
04:17At the same time, soft, voluminous forms expressed throughout our curve of a forestry bring a sense of warmth and
04:29comfort throughout the cabin.
04:31And because true comfort comes from feeling safe and in control, we shape the experience around the clear principle, eyes
04:43on the road, hands on the wheel.
04:46A slim driver display sits naturally within your line of sight, with only the essential information for instant recognition.
04:57Key functions remain as physical buttons below the large players display, so you can act without breaking focus.
05:08And with the extended armrest, every interaction feels effortless.
05:17It is about knowing where to look, knowing where to reach.
05:23So, from the way Tucson holds its ground to the way it supports you inside, boldness is expressed through every
05:37detail.
05:38But, this is not the only expression of Tucson.
05:43For some, confidence is meant to go even further beyond the road to where capability and instinct are enhanced.
05:55Tucson XRT Pro, tougher, more rugged, strong vertical connections in both front and rear emphasize key functional elements, creating stronger
06:11sense of protection and purpose.
06:14The lower body is strengthened with 1.2 inches additional brown clearance, raising approach angle by 1.3 degree and
06:26the departure angle by 1.6 degree.
06:29The robust ski plate front recovery hooks and extended cladding to finish in the distinctive forged carbon inspired pattern.
06:42The wheels carry the same intent with strong interlocking forms, wrapping the all-terrain tires to give the body greater
06:54composure.
06:56And inspired by color of vested red rock landscapes, red rock orange pearl evokes the spirit of exploration that defines
07:09XRT Pro.
07:10Together, these details create a protective layer around the vehicle, strengthening XRT Pro's identity, a vehicle ready for outdoor adventure
07:24anytime.
07:25From the bold strength of art of steel, to the warmth of art of comfort, we spend years challenging ourselves,
07:37refining every surface, pushing every idea further.
07:43Because confidence is created in a single moment.
07:50It is built detail by detail.
07:55And that is the all-new Tucson and Tucson XRT.
08:02Thank you.
08:06Good afternoon, everyone.
08:09I am Jinwan Jung, Head of Vehicle Development Tech Unit 2, Hyundai Motor Company.
08:14The all-new Tucson command presence of the moment we see it.
08:19A robust proportion, a bold volume, and confidence to move forward on any road.
08:27This is the all-new Tucson, the boldest.
08:33But when we speak of boldness, it's not simply about looking stronger.
08:38Because customers' trust in a vehicle isn't built on first impression alone.
08:45Every day on the road, customers expect it all.
08:49efficiency, comfort, space, and confidence to choose new paths without compromise.
09:00That is where the new Tucson begins, by refusing to compromise.
09:08We went bolder, we engineered deeper, and we raised the bar.
09:14And it all starts where it matters most.
09:18In the everyday drive.
09:22Today's hybrid customers expect more than just great mileage.
09:28They expect it all.
09:30Efficiency, acceleration, handling, and even like quietness.
09:37Our answer was simple.
09:40A great hybrid shouldn't just save fuel.
09:45It must respond faster to drive intentionally and adapt intelligently to cover all road conditions.
09:56That philosophy is engineered into our next-generation hybrid system.
10:02We are defining a new standard for hybrid system.
10:07We are defining a new standard for hybrid system.
10:07That is intelligent efficiency.
10:11It is precise control that adapts to driver's intention and road conditions by delivering optimal efficiency and performance.
10:22The next-generation hybrid system is built on dual-model architecture.
10:30The P1 model is directly coupled to the crankshaft for seamless power delivery.
10:36While the strengthened P1 model now delivers 47.7 kilowatt.
10:43With these two models working in sync, we've strengthened the transmission torque capacity.
10:50Achieving a combined output of 233 horsepower.
10:56The P1 model strengthens load-leveling control, keeping the engine at peak efficiency across most driving conditions.
11:07Paired with intelligent regenerative braking that adapts to real-time load conditions.
11:13It delivers greater efficiency, completely effortlessly.
11:20Together, these innovations target an outstanding 42 miles per gallon.
11:27But we didn't stop at efficiency.
11:30The direct coupled P1 model delivers smooth, natural acceleration with instant response at higher speed for a sportier drive.
11:40While the upgraded P2 model achieves a class-leading top speed at 118 miles per hour and 6,000 pounds
11:51of towing capacity.
11:53Finally, we also brought EVU expertise with stay mode.
11:59Enjoy climate control and entertainment without any startup.
12:04The system intelligently precharges the battery, ensuring comforts the moment you're alive.
12:13And there's something else customers won't negotiate.
12:18That is space.
12:21Tucson drivers pursue dynamic lives.
12:25Family weekdays, adventure weekend, evolving needs.
12:30So we designed a space that captures every chapter.
12:35The all-new Tucson delivers class-leading cargo space at 41.7 cubic feet.
12:46Real passengers benefit from class-leading leg and headroom for ultimate comfort.
12:51We built it to glow with you, seamlessly adapting to all transitions and opportunities throughout the life cycle.
13:02True comfort is in everyday moments.
13:06Securing a car seat, helping a family member on board, organizing deals.
13:12We expanded the rear door opening angle up to 83 degrees, making entry and exit effortless.
13:23True comfort also comes from riding quality and quietness.
13:28So we redesigned the chassis, suspension, and accustomer materials based on customer feedback.
13:36As a result, the all-new Tucson preserves its solid SUV stability while offering serenity in the city and greater
13:49comfort on long drives.
13:52Screens are getting bigger, and there are some multiple features out there.
13:58But customers want simpler, faster, more intuitive access to the essential features.
14:07We deliver the seamless connectivity with physical controls for frequently used function and ergonomic palm rest.
14:17The all-new Tucson is built for more than just the daily routine.
14:22For our customers, SUV is both a daily communal and we can get away machine.
14:31Yet the common perception is that off-road capability demands sacrificing efficiency and practicality.
14:41That's why we created the Tucson XRT Pro.
14:47Our first hybrid off-road trim, XRT Pro combines intelligent efficiency with real off-road capability,
14:57increased ground clearance, all train tires, and towing hooks.
15:03We've also equipped it with Smart Train Assist, a world-first technology.
15:10It precisely controls wheel traction across varying surfaces, helping drivers navigate challenging trains with greater stability.
15:21That's the XRT Pro.
15:23Go further, go freely, stay efficient.
15:28At the core lies our unwavering commitment to quality, reliability, and durability.
15:35Because your family's safety is everything, the all-new Tucson combines advanced safety system to protect every journey.
15:48Targeting IIHS top safety peak plus and five-star ratings, the all-new Tucson is engineered.
15:57So you and your loved ones can drive with even greater confidence.
16:04The all-new Tucson doesn't ask drivers to make sacrifices.
16:10It doesn't trade efficiency for driving pleasure, strength for comfort and quietness, or spaciousness for any other value.
16:21Every standard that customers expect from an SUV, we've raised them all.
16:29Bolder than ever, this is the boldest, the completely reimagined Tucson.
16:37Thank you.
16:4142DOT is Hyundai Motor Group's software center of excellence.
16:45So I think you heard, Tucson is the boldest.
16:48When we think about what makes a vehicle bold, we think about the design.
16:54We think about capability and where it can take us.
16:57But there's another change happening inside the vehicle.
17:02For most of automotive history, the experience that you bought was the experience that you kept.
17:08Capabilities were largely set when the vehicle left the factory.
17:13Software changes that.
17:16Software gives us an opportunity to create a vehicle that can understand more, do more, and continue to evolve through
17:24its life.
17:25And at the heart of the experience in the all-new Tucson is Playos Connect.
17:31Connect is a software foundation for user experience in the all-new Tucson.
17:35It brings together functions, vehicle functions, information, entertainment, digital services, and intelligence into one integrated experience.
17:47But what's more important is how we think about the product.
17:51Playos Connect isn't simply infotainment software running on screens.
17:55It's a platform for vehicle experiences, and it signals a fundamental shift in how we think about the vehicle.
18:05Not as hardware with software added on top, but as an integrated system that improves and gets more capable over
18:12time.
18:14So four principles guide how we think about Playos Connect.
18:17Everything in harmony.
18:19Understands my needs.
18:21Brings my world along.
18:24And evolves over time.
18:27So customers should not need to understand the technology underneath.
18:31They should simply experience what it makes possible.
18:37A vehicle is one product, but software can often feel like separate systems sitting next to each other.
18:44Navigation over here, climate over there, and media somewhere else.
18:49So Playos Connect starts with a different idea.
18:53Seamlessness.
18:55Vehicle functions, controls, information, apps, and services work together as one experience.
19:03And the deeper that integration becomes, the less work we ask our customers to do.
19:09In our case, sophisticated technology makes the experience simpler.
19:16And this is where AI changes the relationship between people and their vehicles.
19:21With GLEO, our native AI system, we're moving beyond voice assistants that wait for you to utter the magic words
19:28if you remember them.
19:31GLEO uses LLM technology to understand natural language, intent, and context, like talking to a co-pilot.
19:39Let me demonstrate.
19:42Hey, GLEO.
19:44Find me a good burger spot.
19:47Black Iron Burger and 7th Street Burger are both solid spots nearby.
19:52Well, which one do you recommend?
19:54If you want something classic, Black Iron is a great pick.
19:58For something quick and simple, 7th Street is very popular.
20:01Let's go with classic.
20:03Sounds good.
20:04I'll set the route to Black Iron.
20:07And there it is.
20:09So GLEO also understands and executes multiple requests at the same time, as well as understanding where the speaker is
20:16sitting.
20:17Hey, GLEO.
20:19It's cold in here.
20:20Set the temperature to 74 degrees and turn on my seat heater.
20:29Both commands are executed together.
20:31And now, if my passenger chimes in.
20:34Turn on mine as well.
20:38GLEO turns on the correct seat heater.
20:40So because GLEO is part of Connect, that intelligence integrates directly into vehicle functions and services.
20:48And combined with your profile and the context, the vehicle becomes relevant to you.
20:53Not because you configure more, but because it understands you and your surroundings.
21:00So bring my world along.
21:02Customers already have digital ecosystems filled with apps and services that they love.
21:08And we don't believe entering the vehicle means leaving that world behind.
21:12Nor do we believe the whole vehicle experience should be run by your phone.
21:18Through Playos App Market, we are opening the vehicle to third-party developers.
21:24Connect can run Android applications natively and even provides developers with APIs and vehicle context
21:31so they can create experiences that a phone projection app could never produce alone.
21:39Hyundai Motor Group brings something else to this equation.
21:42Scale.
21:43Our global ecosystem gives developers a compelling reason to invest.
21:48Some of the most exciting future vehicle experiences may not come from us at all.
21:53Our job is to make them possible.
21:58Software keeps getting better.
22:01The experience that you have in your vehicle should not be frozen the day you buy it.
22:07Playos Connect was developed and is maintained in-house.
22:11And that matters.
22:12Because updates only create value when the organization behind them keeps improving the product.
22:19And the result?
22:20Connect is smarter every day.
22:24Experiences become easier and more intelligent and more capable throughout its life.
22:29The vehicle you take home is no longer the end of the development story.
22:34It is the beginning of a new one.
22:38So, when we talk about the boldest, bold is not only about what the vehicle looks like.
22:44It's about where it can take you, what you can do with it, and what it can become.
22:52Everything in Harmony understands my needs, brings my world along, and evolves over time.
23:00The all-new Tucson gives us a platform for experiences that will continue to grow long after today.
23:08Because the most exciting capability of a vehicle may not be what it can do the day you buy it.
23:13It is what it can become.
23:16And there you have it.
23:18Tucson, the boldest SUV.
23:20Tucson, the old Kanefẩy.
23:26We won't be familiar with these homes and buildings in the city Olympics have yet no longerOMEnamor
