Der Ladezugang an Tesla Superchargern wird für BMW-Fahrzeuge ab Modelljahr 2024 deutlich einfacher: Mit dem NACS-Adapter – empfohlen wird der Lectron Vortex Plus – lassen sich die Schnellladestationen zuverlässig nutzen. Wer Plug & Charge nutzt, braucht nur einstecken und losladen. Alternativ funktioniert der Zugang komfortabel über die My BMW App. Auch die sogenannten Magic Dock-Stationen (mit integriertem CCS-Adapter) werden unterstützt – perfekt für alle, die ohne zusätzlichen Adapter laden wollen. Die Integration in die My BMW App macht Planung und Nutzung besonders einfach.

00:00BMW drivers can now access North American Charging Standard, or NACS, equipped charging stations, including Tesla Superchargers.
00:10Let's walk through how to charge at these stations using a BMW-certified NACS DC Charging Adapter.
00:17First, in order to see NACS stations in your app and vehicle eRoute planning, you'll need to save your adapter in your My BMW app charging settings.
00:34Open the My BMW app, scroll to Charging, select More, then under Equipment, select Adapters.
00:48Add and save the chosen adapter, in this case, NACS DC, and setup is complete.
01:03NACS stations will now show in your search results when browsing for charging stations and will be included in your vehicle's eRoute planning and charging recommendations.
01:24To start a charge at a Supercharger, you can use BMW's Plug & Charge or the My BMW app.
01:30With Plug & Charge, you no longer have to use an app or interact with the charging station.
01:36Simply plug in your BMW and walk away.
01:39Your BMW will automatically communicate with the charger and begin the charging session.
01:44First, make sure you've taken the steps to activate Plug & Charge.

01:51When you park at a Plug & Charge capable station, a confirmation will be displayed on iDrive, indicating Plug & Charge is available.
01:58All Tesla Superchargers support Plug & Charge through your Shell Recharge account.
02:04If your vehicle doesn't support Plug & Charge, you can always use the My BMW app to start your charge as well.
02:12Select Charge here, and then select the charger you're parked in front of.
02:19and tap Agree and begin charging.
02:43Since Tesla Superchargers use a Naxx connector, you'll need to attach a Naxx DC Fast Charging Adapter to the cable before connecting it to your BMW.
02:56Remove the cable, then connect the charger to your BMW certified Naxx DC adapter.
03:02Once the adapter clicks into place, insert the cable with the adapter into the charging port.
03:09The charging light will illuminate yellow and then turn blue, indicating charging has begun.
03:16Once charging is complete, press the white button to stop the session and unlock the cable.
03:22Disconnect the cable from your vehicle and remove the adapter by pressing the release button on the adapter before returning the cable to the charging dock.
03:31Certain Tesla Supercharger stations come equipped with an integrated Naxx to CCS adapter called the Magic Dock.
03:50These stations are identified in the My BMW app under the charging station details.
04:00When you're ready to connect, wrap your hand around the connector, press and hold the release button for two seconds, then push up on the handle.
04:14This allows the Magic Dock adapter to be released with the charging cable.
04:18Insert the Magic Dock charging cable into the charging socket of your BMW.
04:23The charging light will illuminate yellow and then turn blue, indicating charging has begun.
04:29Once charging is complete, press the white button to stop the session and unlock the cable.
04:35Disconnect the cable from your vehicle and return it to the charging dock.
04:39Enjoy the ease of charging with the BMW charging network.
