00:00Well the European Union's plan getting even more extreme in terms of the vision for the future.
00:07You've got prominent politicians now openly talking about a United States of Europe and
00:15you've got the European Union very clearly now looking to expand the likes of Montenegro,
00:21Ukraine, Moldova and Albania all set to join the European Union it seems with open borders
00:29coming with it of course and the EU's increasing obsession with an EU army confirmed by the fact
00:36they've got an EU defence commissioner who is in favour of a European Union army even talking about
00:44unanimity in defence at having to be done away with and instead using a method called qualified
00:51majority voting where national governments elected governments could actually be outvoted even on EU
00:57defence policy now it seems in the future. But just to show you the full extent of this plan
01:03and how the direction of the European Union now looks well you can see here the European Commission,
01:10the EU Commission looking to change things to essentially bypass and abolish national vetoes
01:18completely as they look to expand. So you can see here they're looking at 30 plus members,
01:25they're looking at according to this internal draft documents reported there by rapporteur,
01:33clauses even to drop the requirement for unanimity as to the stages of a country joining the European
01:40Union and that even the EU should become less consensual and you can see the quote there that
01:47consensus strengthens political ownership and democratic legitimacy however they say it can also delay or
01:53prevent timely decisions in areas where the union most needs to act and you can see this is their plan
02:01instead of national vetoes instead of unanimity in the European Union it's all going to be done on the
02:07basis of qualified majority voting essentially then nationally elected governments as you saw with
02:13the Mercosur deal that the likes of France and Ireland didn't want and that it's going to be forced
02:18upon them and national governments reduced even if they're against something and voting against something
02:23being swept up in the European Union project and policies and direction whether they actually want
02:30it or not doesn't seem very democratic to me does it but look please do whack this video a quick
02:35thumbs up let me know your thoughts in the comments below and of course as ever cheers for watching
