00:00Well, this is just absolutely ridiculous, isn't it? You've got a Prime Minister with absolutely no
00:05mandate and a government clearly now trying to cancel the Brexit vote and reverse Brexit and
00:12take us back into the European Union with no mandate whatsoever. I suspect an election is
00:20coming, but we should have one now if this is their ridiculous programme. I mean, the Prime
00:26Minister Andy Burnham coming out of all sorts of stuff about Russia and the Brexit referendum.
00:32I mean, it's been long established, no evidence of successful Russian interference in the Brexit
00:39vote. You had the Foreign Office Minister come out today and say Russia was not successful
00:44in influencing the Brexit referendum. So the government all over the place on this. And
00:50of course, we do know who there was interference from, and that was from the likes of US President
00:55Barack Obama, of course.
00:56It's fair to say that maybe some point down the line, there might be a UK-US trade agreement,
01:04but it's not going to happen anytime soon because our focus is in negotiating with a big block
01:09of the European Union to get a trade agreement done. And UK is going to be in the back of
01:16the queue.
01:16So yeah, look, the government are all over the place on this. Finally, they've come out,
01:23a Prime Minister spokesman there and said, yes, we do believe the referendum results to
01:27be legitimate, but absolutely clear what is going on here. And this is a government, as
01:32I say, with no mandate whatsoever to do so, now seeking to take the UK much, much closer
01:38into the European Union, potentially rejoining completely. It looks to be on their agenda.
01:48And Danny Burnham today, in Parliament, speaking on this. Watch this and please do let me know
01:53your thoughts on what this government are doing with absolutely no mandate for rejoining the EU.
02:00And confirm to the House today that it will take place in Brussels on the 20th of November.
02:07This summit presents an opportunity to make progress on two crucial issues, boosting UK growth
02:17and controlling illegal immigration. On the table is a trade deal on food and drink products,
02:26a deal on emissions trading, progress towards linking our energy systems, a new youth experience
02:35scheme and deeper cooperation on immigration. The summit will also be an opportunity to raise
02:42our concerns about made in Europe. And it is clear to me that there is an opportunity to
02:47make progress in all of these areas. Together, these deals will add the equivalent of over £10
02:53billion per year to the UK economy by 2040, with the potential to add significantly more.
03:01We should not turn our backs on this opportunity, Mr Speaker.
