00:00Well, hi everyone. And first of all, please don't be alarmed by my appearance. Yeah, you can see I'm
00:05looking a little bit different today. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I have been back to Turkey. If you know,
00:12you know, but look out for a forthcoming video sort of detailing what I've been up to coming
00:18very soon. But look, in terms of the local council by-election results this week, we've seen some
00:24truly, truly staggering results. These are, I would say, even more dramatic than normal in that
00:31the council by-election results we've seen this week run contrary to much of the media narrative.
00:37We have seen reform gains this week and some pretty catastrophic results for Labour and the
00:45Conservatives, which, as I said, sort of flies in the face of some of the narrative at the moment.
00:51And I have to say, I think Kemi Badenoch is starting to feel the heat big time. If you look
00:58at the Conservative Party's financial position, for instance, we've just learned that in the year
01:04ending December 2025, so basically throughout the whole of 2025, the Tories received 13 million quid
01:12less than December 2024. Now, you might say, well, yeah, that was a general election year.
01:17But just look at the contrast in fortunes here. Reform up massively, the Tories down, Labour
01:25down, the Greens up a bit, and the Lib Dems down quite dramatically as well. And I certainly
01:31think that Kemi Badenoch, as I said, is starting to feel the heat a bit.
01:35This is a man who was talking about how in his late teens and early 20s, he was radicalised.
01:40He became a racist and an anti-Semite. And he is training, you know, certified by the Home
01:47Office, training people on how to deal with that.
01:49To which Lady Burgess says, well, fine, let him do that. But don't have him in public life.
01:53Don't have him in a position where she and others might have to deal with him, talk to
01:58him, do deals with him if he's a politician. There is a difference there between welcoming
02:04someone into public life and just saying, well, they might be a useful member of society.
02:08Well, I think what Luciana is talking about is not rehabilitation, but forgiveness. I can
02:14understand that she does not want to forgive this man. I might not if I had been his victim.
02:18But I'm not giving him a national platform. He is standing to be a councillor in Somerset.
02:23You are giving him a platform there.
02:25It is a local platform looking at parking, sorting out bins. That's what councillors do.
02:31And, you know, it's utterly bizarre that it's been reported that Kemi Badenoch has written
02:35to the people of Clacton saying they deserve better than Nigel Farage. But of course, with
02:41the Conservatives not standing a candidate in that by-election, it's all pretty odd if
02:48you ask me. But if you actually look at the voting intention in Clacton now, this was a
02:54servation poll. Had the other parties actually bothered to stand a candidate? Look what's happened
02:59since 2024. So this is only since the last general election in that constituency. You
03:05can see reform up 11% to 57%. The Conservative vote more than halving, down to just 11%. And
03:13if you contrast that to what the Tories were receiving in terms of vote share in that constituency
03:21before, that is a truly, truly staggering decline. As for Kemi Badenoch, well, she did recently
03:29lay into Reform UK on the Political Currency podcast.
03:33So reform are a woke party. And I know a lot of people don't understand, you know, the word
03:39woke is used to mean many things. And a lot of people assume it's a left-wing thing. But
03:44when I talk about woke, I talk about people who, it's all grievance. It's victim narratives.
03:49People are doing this to us. Oppressor narratives. This is the oppressor class. And on the left,
03:54it's, you know, whites are the oppressors or men are the oppressors. On the right, so this
03:59is the establishment of the oppressors. Look at what they're doing to us. It's all moaning
04:03and whinging and not proper solutions. It's about power dynamics and how to get power, not
04:11actually solutions and how to fix things. That is their mindset. If you look at the way that
04:15they do things, it seeps through all of them. And it is also the thing that they have in
04:21common with those people who left the Conservative Party to go to reform. It's always, there's
04:27a huge victim mentality. I'm not a victim. And I will never, ever play the victim, even
04:33when I probably have grounds to do so. I am somebody who is saying the United Kingdom, Great
04:39Britain is at a crossroads. We can fix things. We have a lot of stuff to fix. Let's bring
04:44down energy costs. You know, our five point economic plan. We need an economic revolution.
04:48Let's get business going. But I'm not going to do is demonize certain groups, whether it's
04:54billionaires or immigrants or the wealthy or NHS workers or the public sector. We're not
05:02doing that. We're not setting groups against each other. And reform does that.
05:05Just before I get to the council by-election results this week, which I repeat are very,
05:10very dramatic. This was Zia Youssef's response to Kemi Badenoch's comments.
05:15Do you have a response to Kemi Badenoch branding reform woke and a grievance party full of victim
05:20narratives and moaning and whinging?
05:23Yeah, look, you know, I don't think Kemi's had the best few days. And she's obviously lashed
05:29out at reform, started calling us names. She said that we're a party that has, you know,
05:35we have grievances. I would agree with that. We do have a grievance. We have a grievance
05:41to the fact that spent 14 years lying to the British public. They said they'd reduce
05:45legal immigration down to the tens of thousands. Left office of that number, a million, shipped
05:49in a million people gross, six million people net, built 400 prison places net to cope with
05:54that. And then has the gall to go on telly with victims of serious crime and complain about
05:59early release when they released tens of thousands of people early, including people who committed
06:04serious crime. They allowed 130,000 illegal migrants to come here by boat. I mean, Chris
06:09Philp went out to the channel to sort of go and point. I mean, that's sort of a, I think
06:13there's terms in criminal psychology about people that go back to the scene of the crime
06:17in some sort of odd display of narcissism. I mean, he, the Tories are responsible for the
06:23majority of the illegal boats that have come to this country, the majority of the illegal
06:27migrants and everyone that Chris Philp filmed and interacted with were basically traveling
06:32a trail that he had created for them. Even his interactions with the French, no British
06:37government has paid the French more to stop the boats than the Tories. So, I mean, the
06:42whole thing is, is absurd on its face. And that is why I maintain my view that the Tories
06:47as of the next general election will no longer be a serious and credible national political
06:53parting.
06:54So, yeah, these are the council by-election results we've seen this week that really do
06:57sort of defy the media narrative because they show, for instance, in Kingsland and West Norfolk
07:05what is happening. That the Conservative vote there basically halving and reform gaining that
07:12seat of Snettisham from the Conservatives. Also in Kingsland and West Norfolk, you've got
07:18Fecham and that is another Reform UK gain from the Conservatives this week. Also note the Labour
07:27vote share going down. Where's the burn and bounce? Certainly not on display there. And
07:33then in South Tyneside, in terms of Labour, a very poor showing. Yes, they're up a bit.
07:39Reformer defending that seat and Reformer down a bit. But that is a very safe reform hold there
07:45in South Tyneside. And then finally in Wales, in Caerphilly. Look at the Labour vote share there.
07:54Absolutely collapsing in that Caerphilly council by-election this week. Plied down slightly but
08:01comfortably holding that. But Reform UK, the main challenger there and the Tories absolutely
08:06nowhere. So those council by-election results, I think, are pretty interesting when you contrast
08:11with the media narrative. And I'd be fascinated to hear from you in terms of what you make
08:16of those council by-election results. Please do let me know your thoughts on all that in the
08:21comments below. Please do add this video a quick thumbs up. And of course, as ever, guys, cheers for watching.
