00:00Hello, I'm Kate Gunn. I'm a clinical psychologist, an associate professor at Adelaide University
00:06and I grew up on a farm near Streaky Bay. In 2008 we started doing research on farmers' mental
00:12health and wellbeing and in 2018 launched iFarmWell which started off as an online program
00:19that could provide evidence-based information to farmers on how to get the most out of life
00:24regardless of the circumstances they face. Over time our work has evolved, we do a lot of research,
00:30we deliver campaigns, we've even worked with farming communities to deliver a musical that is
00:37all focused on helping people live the best life that they can in farming communities.
00:42We're really grateful to the wonderful team that we have at Adelaide University as well as all the
00:47farmers who work with us to co-design these programs, our donors who generously make this possible as
00:53well as the industry groups who help us keep it all relevant as well. Thanks for the opportunity
00:59to be a part of these awards. We're very excited to be a finalist and hope that it helps to
01:04spread
01:04the word about the free online and other resources that iFarmWell has to offer.
