00:07I'm owner-operator of Nundar Pastoral Company, alongside my wife, Sarah, my parents, John and Alison.
00:13We're located here in Singleton, the Hunter Valley, New South Wales.
00:16My passion started back in 2004, 14 years of age, involved with cows and showing cows.
00:22I started Nundar Holsteins in 2004.
00:24Fast forward to today, we've got Australia's first 1,200 cow recycled manure system for the bedding.
00:32That's basically cows live in a barn, they have a roof over their head, they have fans to keep them
00:38cool,
00:38then they lay on the bedding. We flood wash every six hours, we separate the manure from the liquid.
00:45The liquid gets used to water our grasses, our crops, and then we take the solids, we dry them,
00:51let them pasteurise, cook themselves to 72 degrees, and this is the final product.
00:56This goes in for bedding for the cows to actually lay down and be comfortable.
01:00It's all about herd health and maximising the genetic potential of our Holstein cows.
01:05Well, we're all about the good barrels here.

01:08They're a natural ones, and it's when they're not really reaching out.
