04:39Tonight, we're going to jump into various tidbits around the world of professional wrestling.

04:42Lots in the news today.

04:43And I'll be honest with you, today is one of those days where we're recording more than one episode

04:47because there's so much going on, and obviously I don't want to bog you down

04:50for like a 40, 50-minute session covering everything that's going on.

04:54So I'm breaking it down into different segments so you can watch them at your leisure

04:57and not feel obligated to have to watch every single video all at once.

05:00Or you start the video and you forget where you stopped and you have to go back and try to

05:04find it.

05:04It gets frustrating.

05:05So we're breaking it down today.

05:06We're going into this episode, and we are talking Logan Paul to begin with.

05:10He had announced on a YouTube vlog recently in August that he was semi-cleared to return to the ring.

05:16Well, there's been some clarity about that.

05:21Apparently, according to Logan Paul himself, Michael Hayes has approached him and told him

05:25that he has instructions straight from Bruce Prichard and Triple H, Paul Levesque,

05:29that he is not going to be cleared until November.

05:32So where Logan Paul thought he was headed back to the ring, you know,

05:35on the normal timeline that we kind of expected right after the injury,

05:39it sounds like he'll be waiting a little bit longer.

05:41And look, I appreciate that on Triple H and Bruce Prichard's part.

05:44Make sure he's healthy.

05:45Make sure he's ready to come back to the ring.

05:47You don't want to risk re-injuring that because I am fairly confident that Logan Paul is in position

05:52to be a very big part of their future plans.

05:55I know people aren't a big fan of him on, say, an ethical basis or whatever, a maturity basis.

06:01But let's be honest.

06:02The guy has done so much since coming to this company.

06:04He has improved vastly since when he first got there.

06:07And he was pretty solid from the beginning.

06:08He really is one of their better wrestlers on the roster.

06:12No matter what you feel about him on a personal level, I think this is a guy who could really

06:16contribute.

06:17And he has contributed at a high level.

06:18I would look forward to seeing him back in the ring.

06:21That being said, moving to our next thing, let's talk some injury updates for El Jijo Del Viquingo.

06:27Viquingo, as you know, major knee injury earlier in the year.

06:30He's been out.

06:30He hasn't given us a definitive timeline until today.

06:33Today he's posting on X.

06:35And as he's on there, he posts a video.

06:37It's basically of a small engine vehicle revving the engine.

06:41He talks about how he's got seven more months.

06:43Seven months of ongoing rehab to get ready for his return to the ring.

06:47Now, look, he probably could come back sooner than that.

06:51But just like I just said, I would prefer, just like Logan Paul, that they keep him out as long

06:58as necessary to better ensure that there's not a risk of re-injury.

07:02Keeping in mind that El Jijo Del Viquingo had tore his other ACL previously.

07:07Now he's dealing with this one.

07:09These are serious injuries.

07:10And look, a few years back, not that long ago, an ACL injury was a year, 15 months, 18 months.

07:16Now we're talking about six to nine months because of the advancements in medical technology.

07:20If you're Viquingo, do the right thing.

07:22Stay home.

07:23Get rested up.

07:24Get well.

07:24He spent a great time with his family.

07:26He was clear to emphasize that.

07:28And good for him.

07:28Kudos to him.

07:29We don't need to rush him back because we need him to get healthy.

07:32We want to see all those high-flying flippity-doos when he comes back to the ring.

07:36Because that guy has got some of the most innovative offense in the wrestling business.

07:40Let's get into the corny news of the day.

07:41There is a huge lawsuit being filed against WWE by a gentleman by the name of Armando Alejandro Montalvo.

07:48Who, if you don't know who that is, this gentleman back in 2015 was essentially accused of trespassing.

07:56And in 2015 got shot by an off-duty deputy because of some claims being made by WWE personnel.

08:06He claims, in part of his lawsuit, that after WWE personnel were taunting him and mocking him,

08:12they encouraged these off-duty deputies to come in to get engaged.

08:16That the WWE employees confirmed that he had no weapons on him.

08:20And then when he got shot, they planted a knife afterwards.

08:24It's this ludicrous stuff in how all these stakeholders were somehow conspiring to set him up.

08:31It seems very ludicrous.

08:32I'll get to that in just a minute.

08:34But this is one of those things where you're going to tie up WWE funds.

08:38If I were them, I would countersue for the defamation situation and for legal fees.

08:42Because it's going to be ridiculous.

08:44The amount of money they're going to have to spend to try to prove something.

08:46Now, here's the thing.

08:47They always say, wait until it plays out in court.

08:49Here's why I'm not going to do that.

08:50I'm going to make my assumptions, and you can love or hate me for making assumptions.

08:53They always say, don't assume it makes an ass out of you and me.

08:56Maybe that's what it does for me.

08:57But here's my deal.

08:58The guy is also suing Walmart.

09:00He's suing Walmart in a separate lawsuit because he claims they had a coordinated arrest of him in 2020.

09:07That they worked with and conspired with local law enforcement to have him arrested.

09:10He also has a lawsuit coming against a health provider that he's suing because he's claiming that they over-medicated

09:17him to keep him in essentially a catatonic state, unable to defend himself in criminal proceedings related to the WWE

09:23lawsuit.

09:24It's all ridiculous.

09:25The frivolous lawsuits in our country are not a good thing.

09:29Not trying to go down a big political path here.

09:31But WWE has enough lawsuits that actually matter that legitimately are claims where we don't need to be hearing about

09:38these.

09:38Every time you hear WWE lawsuit, you think about things like Janelle Grant.

09:41You think about Ring Boy's lawsuit, things like that.

09:44This is the last thing that I feel like WWE's legal team needs to be dealing with.

09:48Absolutely insane.

09:49Everything that anybody's ever talked about is that this guy was like creepo, hanging out on Performance Center property, wouldn't

09:56leave, and that he ended up getting some kind of entanglement that led to him getting shot.

10:03I have to assume that there's so many people have a similar story as to what happened, that that's what

10:07happened.

10:07Now, I could be wrong.

10:08Maybe they planted a knife.

10:10Maybe they conspired against him.

10:11I find it highly unlikely, especially with the rest of his background.

10:15Last thing for tonight, this episode, former WWE, WCW, and ECW wrestler Too Cold Scorpio, who's been working security, had

10:24an incident a few months back where there was an unruly person trying to do things that they weren't allowed

10:29to do.

10:29Smoking, I believe, was involved in the establishment.

10:31They were cautioned repeatedly.

10:33The person got very belligerent towards Too Cold Scorpio, who was working security, and when it seemed like it was

10:37getting violent, he pulled a knife and stabbed this person.

10:39Now, he has been brought up on charges of, I believe it was second-degree assault.

10:45He went to court.

10:47He pled guilty.

10:48He made a deal.

10:49He's supposed to go for sentencing on October 9th.

10:52And the problem is, is he is at home free on bond, and while he's on bond, there's certain regulations

10:58about what you can and can't do, and one of those is you can't possess a weapon.

11:02You can't bring a weapon in public when you're released on bond with this plea agreement, and apparently he brandished

11:08a weapon, carrying a firearm, which is in direct violation of his court order, of his bond agreement.

11:14So, because of that, Too Cold Scorpio today was taken into custody.

11:18He's being placed in prison.

11:20He's being deemed a threat to society and all that kind of fun stuff, which, look, I don't know how

11:24you feel about things like this, but, like, when you already have one bad decision, don't compound the issue by

11:29bringing a firearm with you someplace.

11:31You know, and if you're going someplace and you feel like you need protection, here's a great suggestion.

11:35Don't go to that location.

11:36You know, the majority of the population doesn't have to deal with these issues because they go where they're supposed

11:40to go and they stay away from trouble.

11:42Maybe that would have helped.

11:43I was a huge Too Cold Scorpio fan back in WCW days.

11:47He teamed with Marcus Alexander Bagwell for a while, who went on to become Buff Bagwell.

11:51He did some great stuff in ECW, World Television Champion, teaming with the Sandman.

11:56Great matches with people like Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit.

11:58One of my favorite matches, actually, is WCW against Chris Benoit early on in his career where they went to

12:03a time limit draw.

12:04He did migrate to WWE where he became Flash Funk, a goofy character, but that's what they had back then,

12:09but still was able to wrestle.

12:10Doing, like, 450 flipping leg drops and things like that.

12:14This guy could go.

12:14And even now, you can find they did, like, an ECW reunion show recently at the 2300 Arena, maybe a

12:20year, year and a half ago.

12:21It was a who's who of the ECW people.

12:25Francine, Shane Douglas, this, that, and the other.

12:26And he was there with one of the championships he has at some indie promotion.

12:30But Tuchel was there, and he could still go, even at his advanced age.

12:34So, really a shame to see a guy who, even now, could still put on a show when necessary.

12:39He looked pretty good, actually, in that show.

12:40You can find it on YouTube.

12:41Take a look for it.

12:43But, right now, dealing with a lot of legal trouble.

12:45And it's really a shame to see how some of these wrestlers fall from grace so much.

12:49And, you know, whatever.

12:50It may be substance abuse, other reasons that come into play that really take them down a path that they

12:55don't seem to recover from.

12:56It's really a shame.
