00:00Hey yo, 4WrestlingPodcast listeners, popping in with a quick update to a new story that
00:05started earlier this week.
00:07WWE with a creative shakeup coming.
00:09We know about the retirement of Bruce Prichard, which is eventually going to lead to the ascension
00:13of Shawn Michaels.
00:14We know that Bobby Roode is being groomed as a replacement for Michael P.S. Hayes.
00:19We also heard that AJ Styles is going to be the man to potentially replace Shawn Michaels
00:24in NXT.
00:25Word-breaking yesterday, according to WrestleVotes, WrestleTalk, and Wrestling Inc.
00:30is that Shawn Michaels has already started turning over significant duties to AJ Styles,
00:35and AJ Styles, in a lot of ways, has been running NXT for the last several months.
00:40This is shocking because that was something that was never brought up before until this
00:43recent report about all these shakeups at the higher end of things in the creative process
00:48at WWE.
00:49So apparently, while we've been sitting there wondering what AJ Styles has been doing since
00:53retirement, it has been a huge, crucial role in NXT, and he is probably the guy who's going
00:59to lead that brand in the near future.
01:00The report also goes on to say that WWE is heavily considering CM Punk and Bayley to
01:06be heavily involved in the development of the NXT brand, and it does not surprise me.
01:10Especially when you see that CM Punk and Bayley are scheduled to be in December at NXT shows
01:16through the holiday season, it tells me that their ability to work with that brand and do
01:20some things to help cultivate that brand, that this is probably the opportunity they're
01:24looking for to start dipping their toes in and getting familiar with that creative process.
01:28So, for now, that's a quick update for you guys on what's going on in WWE's creative.
01:32I hope you find that useful.
