04:00or when you go to whatever social media platform you're using to stream my show, like, share, subscribe, and most
04:08importantly, comment.
04:09I will see your comments.
04:10I check them every single day and respond to those in a future episode.
04:13For now, let's get into the news for the day.
04:15Former WWE superstar, former champion Sheamus, now that he's a free agent, there was conversation about him showing up at
04:23Bound for Glory that never materialized.
04:25But now there's some really interesting stuff on the horizon.
04:28He has been booked for the big event, EXS, that is taking place the same day and same town as
04:35AEW's Full Gear event.
04:38And the interesting thing about this is, is that Sheamus is booked to leave the event early, this EXS event.
04:46And oddly, if he were to be at this event and then need to leave to be able to make
04:50it over to where the AEW show is, it is a very short journey.
04:55And he would be able to get there and possibly be a part of the show.
04:58So the question becomes, would AEW take a role on Sheamus right now?
05:01And we've heard from the beginning that there are many individuals in AEW who would love to see him in
05:06the company.
05:06Now, as I'm recording this tonight, you know, Ilya Dragunov just debuted with AEW and he got a huge pop.
05:14And he, I'm not trying to be disrespectful, but he is nowhere near the superstar, the megastar that Sheamus is.
05:19Sheamus has been doing it far longer.
05:21Sheamus has been doing it on a bigger platform for a longer period of time.
05:24Sheamus would be a huge reaction.
05:26And think of all the matchups and the new pairings you could do with Sheamus that have never been seen
05:30before.
05:30And the physical bangers that he could put on with these people.
05:33They were saying that he was taking his time, making his next decision.
05:36But for him to be in town, the same town as this event, and possibly be able to easily get
05:41to full gear, it makes a lot of sense.
05:44So now we're going to be waiting until full gear to see if we really get news on whether Sheamus
05:48may be headed to AEW or not.
05:50If he doesn't head to the company, I would suspect if nothing else, he'll at least go there and be
05:55in attendance in the back, meet some of the people, hang out with some of the talents, catch up with
05:58some old friends.
05:59And maybe, just maybe, we see Sheamus headed to AEW.
06:04Speaking of, former AEW world champion Samoa Joe talking to Shaq Wrestling.
06:09And one of the conversation pieces turned towards his retirement plans.
06:13And he basically doesn't even want to talk about that.
06:15He wants to talk about making as many memories as he can while he's still able to do it.
06:20He wants to put on meaningful matches, matches for the fans, trying to consistently give people something to tune in
06:27for, to have a good time with.
06:29It's all great stuff coming out of Samoa Joe.
06:32And he did put a timetable on it.
06:34Obviously, he's probably on the backside of the career that he's had.
06:39But it's been such a storied one.
06:40And he still cares now like he did when he started.
06:43He still performs almost the same as when he started.
06:46So I love it that he's still going strong.
06:48I don't see a need for him to have to retire anytime soon.
06:51The only thing that could complicate it is he has had some injury history and some concussion history.
06:56That could always come into play at some point.
06:58But for now, I'm thrilled that Joe is back.
07:02I'm thrilled that Joe is putting on some great matches.
07:04Having great things happen in the ring.
07:06Even tonight, clockwork carnage coming up very soon.
07:09It's going to be great to see him out there in a main event for AEW.
07:12Just great stuff going on all the way around.
07:13Samoa Joe, whether you're talking about Ring of Honor Samoa Joe with that legendary title reign.
07:18Are you talking about TNA Samoa Joe doing three-way matches with AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels?
07:24To WWE where he gets right in Brock Lesnar's face and really doesn't hold anything back from Brock.
07:31To coming into AEW and eventually becoming AEW champion.
07:34The guy has done so much in so many places.
07:36And so many more than that.
07:38Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.
07:40He's always everywhere.
07:42And he's always successful.
07:44So I'm not looking forward to the day when he finally does hang up the boots.
07:47I'm thrilled to hear that he's still committed to doing this long term.
07:50And it should be exciting.
07:51We have many more years hopefully in front of us before we have to say goodbye to Samoa Joe.
07:56Gotta put out some update here on Naomi.
08:00The word is that WWE's creative is absolutely planning for her impending return very, very soon.
08:06And people since Jada Parker debuted with 946 people have just been waiting to see when Naomi would show up
08:12to be the foil to the Jada Parker situation.
08:15Well, according to an update by Dave Meltzer on the latest episode of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there has been
08:21talk of Naomi returning soon.
08:23They didn't say what they were going to do creatively in his report.
08:27The last time we saw her on television, she vacated the Women's World Championship in August of last year, 2025.
08:33She announced her pregnancy.
08:35She had to step away from the ring.
08:36Her and Jimmy had their child earlier this year.
08:39And now, several months later, it sounds like she's ready to come back to the ring.
08:43I think it would be a fantastic addition to the roster to have another top-level, main-event-level female
08:49talent.
08:49What a beautiful situation if she does come back.
08:52The fans would absolutely be in love with seeing her, especially the way she left.
08:57Like, it wasn't just a baby pop of a statement.
09:02She got a raucous amount of cheers and applaud for the crowd.
09:06They're going to love to see her come back.
09:08And I can't wait to see her be able to go back and do her thing.
09:11However, when she left, she was a heel.
09:13I don't see that being possible.
09:15She is so...
09:16Like, the fans are so happy for her.
09:18They're probably going to have to flip her being a babyface.
09:21She's just going to have to tread that fine line between face and heel because that work she was doing
09:24right before she left with some of the best of her entire career.
09:26From there, Carmelo Hayes, Kalani Jordan, two of WWE's brightest and youngest superstars, are both in the news today.
09:34And why?
09:35Because on October 16th, these two wonderful young folks decided to tie the knot and get married.
09:41Congratulations to Carmelo Hayes and Kalani Jordan.
09:44You know, Carmelo Hayes now joining the 946 in a premium spot on WWE Raw.
09:49Kalani Jordan, the NXT Women's Champion, all is well in their household.
09:54Congratulations to the happy couple.
09:56And cheers to many, many more years of happiness and longevity in their wrestling careers.
10:01It's always great to see people find that person they belong with.
10:04This is an awesome moment.
10:05Congratulations to them both and to the entire WWE fan base who are huge fans of both Carmelo and of
10:12Kalani Jordan.
10:13For now, that's all the time we have for this episode.

10:32I'm endorsing these three because I've bought these three.
10:34And they're all three incredible.
10:35You, too, can support independent gaming.
10:37You know you've been playing the same board games for the last 25, 30 years of your life if you're
10:40that old.
10:41Even more if you're older than that.
10:42If you're my age and you've been playing for 50 years, get off the Parcheesi, the chess, checkers, dealing cards,
10:48life, clue, pop a lot of trouble on a pop-o-matic bubble, or having family brawls and fights over
10:53risk and monopoly.
10:55Get rid of all that.
10:56Try something new.
10:57Again, Legendary Elements, Banani Market, Sketchy People.
