00:04prophet daniel chapter 9 verses 9 and 10
00:11to the lord our god belong mercies and forgiveness
00:16though we have rebelled against him
00:19neither have we obeyed the voice of the lord our god
00:24to walk in his laws which he set before us
00:31dearly beloved brethren the scripture moves us in sundry places
00:36to acknowledge and confess our manifold sins and wickedness
00:42but that we should not disassemble nor clave them before the face of almighty god our heavenly father
00:51but confess them with a humble lowly penitence and obedient heart
00:57to the end that we may obtain forgiveness of the same by his infinite goodness and mercy
01:07and although we ought at all times humbly to acknowledge our sins before god
01:13yet ought we chiefly so to do when we assemble and meet together to render thanks for the great benefits
01:21we have received at his hands to set forth his most worthy praise to hear his most holy word
01:30and to ask those things which are requisite and necessary as well for the body as the soul
01:39wherefore i pray and beseech you as many as are here present to accompany me with a pure heart
01:46and humble voice to the throne of the heavenly grace saying after me
01:55almighty and most merciful father we have erred and strayed from thy ways like lost sheep
02:04we have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts
02:11we have offended against thy holy laws
02:16we have left undone those things which we ought to have done
02:21and we have done those things we ought not to have done
02:25and there is no help in us
02:29but thou o lord have mercy upon us miserable offenders
02:35spare thou them o god who confess their faults
02:39restore thou those who are penitent
02:43according to thy promises declared unto mankind
02:46in christ jesus our lord
02:50and grant o most merciful father for his sake
02:54that we may hereafter live a godly righteous and sober life
03:00to the glory of thy holy name

03:06almighty god the father of our lord jesus christ who desireth not the death of a sinner
03:13but rather that he turn from his wickedness and live
03:18and has given power and commandment to his ministers to declare and pronounce to his people
03:25being penitent the absolution and remission of their sins
03:32he pardoneth and absolve it all who truly repent and unfaimly believe his holy gospel
03:43wherefore let us beseech him to grant us true repentance
03:47and his holy spirit
03:49that those things may please him which we do at this present
03:54and that the rest of our life hereafter may be pure and holy
03:58so that at the last we may come to his eternal joy

08:37i will give thanks unto the lord with my whole heart secretly among the faithful and in the congregation
08:46the works of the lord are great sought out of all them that have pleasure therein
08:53his work is worthy to be praised and had in honor and his righteousness endureth forever
09:01the merciful and gracious lord hath so done his marvelous works that they ought to be had in remembrance
09:10he hath given meat unto them that fear him he shall ever be mindful of his covenant
09:17he hath showed his people the power of his works that he may give them the heritage of the heathen
09:25the works of his hands are verity and judgment all his commandments are true
09:33they stand fast forever and ever and are done in truth and equity he sent redemption unto his people
09:42he hath commanded his covenant forever holy and reverent is his name the fear of the lord is the
09:50beginning of wisdom a good understanding have all they that do thereafter the praise of it endureth forever

10:17blessed is the man that feareth the law he hath great delight in his commandments
10:23his seed shall be mighty upon earth the generation of the faithful shall be praised
10:31riches and plenteousness shall be in his house and his righteousness endureth forever
10:39unto the godly there ariseth up light in the darkness he is merciful loving and righteous
10:47a good man is merciful and lendeth and will guide his words with discretion
10:54for he shall never be moved and the righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance
11:01he will not be afraid of any evil tidings for his heart standeth fast and believeth in the lord

19:04after a period of 14 years i went up again to jerusalem with barnabas taking also titus with me
19:13i went up by revelation and i laid before them the good news which i preach among the gentiles
19:20but privately before those who were respected for fear that i might have been running or had run in vain
19:30but not even titus who was with me being a greek was compelled to be circumcised
19:37this was because of the false brothers
19:41secretly brought in who stole in to spy on our liberty which we have in jesus christ
19:49that they might bring us into bondage to whom we gave no place in the way of subjection
19:55not even for an hour that the truth of the good news might continue with you
20:02but from those who were reputed to be important whatever they were it makes no difference to me
20:08for god does not show partiality to any man they i say who were respected imparted nothing to me but
20:16to the contrary
20:18when they saw that i had been entrusted with the good news for the uncircumcised
20:23even as peter with the good news for the circumcised
20:27for he who worked through peter in the apostleship
20:31in the circumcised also worked through me with the gentiles
20:37and when they perceived the grace that was given to me james cephas and john
20:43they who were reputed to be the pillars gave to me and barnabas the right hand of fellowship
20:49that we should go to the gentiles and they to the circumcision
20:54they only asked us to remember the poor which very thing i was also zealous to do
21:03but when peter came to antioch i resisted him to his face because he stood condemned
21:10for before some people came from james he ate with the gentiles but when they came he drew back and
21:18separated himself fearing those who were not the circumcision and the rest of the jews joined him
21:25in his hypocrisy so that even barnabas was carried away with their hypocrisy
21:32but when i saw that they did not walk uprightly according to the truth of the good news
21:38i said to peter before them all if you being a jew live as the gentiles do and not as
21:45the jews do
21:46why do you compel the gentiles to live as the jews do
21:52we being jews by nature and not gentile sinners yet knowing that a man is not justified by the
21:59works of the law but through faith in jesus christ even we believed in jesus christ that we might be
22:06justified by faith in christ and not by works of the law because no flesh can be justified by the
22:13works
22:14of the law but if while we sought to be justified in christ we ourselves also were found to be
22:22sinners
22:23is christ a servant of sin certainly not for if i build up again these things i destroyed
22:30i prove myself to be a law breaker for i through the law died to the law that i might
22:37live to god
22:38i have been crucified with christ and it is no longer i that lives but christ that lives in me
22:47that life which i now live in the flesh i live by faith in the son of god who loved
22:54me and gave himself
22:55up for me i don't reject the grace of god for if righteousness is through the law
