00:00LSU blinked after all of the talk, all of the hype, all of the saber-rattling from the SEC about
00:07kicking LSU out of the conference.
00:09LSU blinked. They will not add either of the players who were rostered on NFL teams this preseason.
00:17They said, no, we have our finalized 105-man roster.
00:21Neither player played on Saturday against Clemson, and neither player will be on the final 105-man roster for LSU,
00:31which was completed yesterday.
00:34And so LSU will not be kicked out of the SEC, even though the SEC did go to try to
00:41assert their right in federal court to kick out LSU from the SEC.
00:47You saw numerous politicians, I mean, senators and people in the House, all talk about LSU being the victim, that
00:56LSU was being attacked, that LSU needed to have a chance to fight this because it's a, quote, court of
01:03law.
01:04The LSU wasn't doing anything wrong. It was a court of law that they were going into.
01:09They were all fine legally, and the SEC was wrong, not LSU.
01:14Well, yesterday it was time to put pen to paper, and LSU blinked.
01:19So thankfully, LSU is not going to get kicked out of the SEC, and thankfully, at least for a day
01:25or two, the Lane Kiffin controversy story is now done, and we don't have a talk about the potential of
01:32college football having a ridiculous court fight,
01:35which would have ensued quickly if LSU had been kicked out of the Southeastern Conference, not just LSU football.
01:43The entire institution would have been kicked out, meaning baseball and basketball, everything was going to get kicked out of
01:50the SEC.
01:51So they do not roster the players.
01:53After all that, it's a lot of saber-rattling, a lot of controversy and hot air spent talking about Lane
01:59Kiffin and LSU, and it was all for naught.
02:02LSU will remain in the SEC, and no one's getting kicked out of their conference.
02:07LSU will be able to get kicked out of the SEC.
02:07LSU will be able to get kicked out of the SEC.
