00:13naturally went to lsu uh this is you know arguably we're going to find out if lane kiffin is one

00:30a very high level they were really good he brought mississippi to a level they have not been say what
00:37you want about lane kiffin in the nfl that guy wherever he goes there's a ton of success on that
00:46field and so i am so curious as to what lsu is going to look like because beyond the favorites
00:53in the conference texas and georgia and you know maybe some others depending on how you feel about
01:00it lsu is like the sleeping giant there and simply because of him so to me that is the story

01:08he is a very rare coach where you want to see what the coach is going to say or do
01:13in professional sports we don't have that a lot in college sports we don't have that a lot
01:18we want to see his press conferences you want to see what he's going to say before the game after
01:22the game he's not afraid to say things so that is the main attraction i think going into the season
01:27this year and the other thing that kiffin does do and has the potential of doing is ending a short
01:33term career in alabama of their head coach too i think with a win there so all all of those

01:45be watching to see how i mean certainly the gator season can't be any worse than it was last year

04:02wasn't for me this year but i think one of the fascinating things and one of the cases that lane
04:09will succeed at lsu is it's everybody everyone who's ever been there has other than brian kelly
04:18and you might ask yourself if you're an lsu fan well was that brian kelly's fault or is this our
04:25new normal and what i can tell people and it's not this isn't just because i'm a notre dame like
04:31it's very obvious to everybody when brian kelly left notre dame the national idea was he did that
04:39because there was a hard ceiling coaching at notre dame he got the most juice out of that program
04:45that anyone possibly could and it turned out that was incredibly wrong notre dame played in a national
04:54championship game two years ago their recruiting classes have never been better and they're the
04:59favorites to win the whole thing on multiple sports books coming into this year so there's a reason for
05:06optimism that moving off of brian kelly for lane kiffin will yield lsu incredible results
