Michigan State’s win over Toledo had plenty of football drama, but one bizarre moment stole the spotlight.

The Spartans defeated Toledo 30-20 in Pat Fitzgerald’s debut, but the play everyone is talking about came during a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter. After Michigan State took the lead, the coaching staff decided to go for two, setting up an unusual trick play from offensive coordinator Nick Sheridan.

Right tackle Robert Wright Jr. somehow turned an unexpected bout of vomiting into part of the action. As the ball was snapped, Wright appeared to throw up while still carrying out his blocking assignment. Instead of stopping, he picked up an interior defender, passed off another rusher and helped keep quarterback Alessio Milivojevic protected.

And somehow, it worked.

Michigan State completed the two-point conversion, giving the Spartans a seven-point advantage and making the bizarre sequence even more memorable.

What started as an awkward moment quickly became one of the most talked-about plays of the night. Wright’s determination, unusual timing and willingness to keep blocking made this one college football moment fans certainly won’t forget.
