04:26From a fresh push to make Tamil the principal language of the Madras High Court,
04:29which was a resolution that was also unanimously passed with even support from the DMK.
04:34There was a proposed Olympic city mentioned by Chief Minister Vijay that will come up in Chennai.

04:48Major plans that have been unveiled.
04:50Let's give you a sense of some of those.
04:59Amid the ruckus and chaos in the Tamil Nadu assembly,
05:03Chief Minister Vijay made a series of major announcements on Thursday.
05:07And topping that list was a fresh push for Tamil in the Madras High Court.
05:12The Tamil Nadu government has now passed a new resolution seeking primary use of Tamil in the High Court.
05:18Addressing the assembly, Vijay said, Tamil is an ancient language with a rich heritage and culture
05:24and urged the centre to facilitate its greater use in the Madras High Court.
05:47The resolution received support from the DMK, but not without a political claim.
05:53The DMK said it was Karuna Nidhi who secured classical language status for Tamil.
06:10TVK, however, hit back, saying the DMK's earlier resolution was different
06:15and that the latest resolution should not be seen as anyone's child.
06:19TVK said the move would benefit Tamil Nadu and that Tamil must be given greater priority.
06:26The Chief Minister also announced plans to establish a world-class Tamil Nadu Olympic city in Chennai.
06:33Alongside it, a dedicated motorsports city is also planned,
06:37with the aim of hosting Formula 1 to Formula 4 racing.
07:04The announcement comes just days after Uda Nidhi,
07:08Stalin questioned TVK's decision to drop the DMK government's Olympic city proposal.
07:14Pada criticism was quickly met with a sharp counter from TVK's Adhav Arjuna.
07:42The Tamil Nadu assembly is no stranger to high-voltage political drama.

08:02Bureau Report, India Today.
08:08There's been all kinds of fake content on social media using Chief Minister Vijay's name and deepfakes.
08:15In Hindi particularly, these deepfakes are doing the rounds of Vijay Talapati,
08:20as people in North India know him, asking you to send your WhatsApp number in comments,
08:26saying he's giving money to those in need.
08:28Here's one such reel.
08:30Hello guys, I've come to SBI Bank. I'll get out of money here. I'll get out of money here.
08:36Hello guys, I've come to SBI Bank. I'll get out of money here. I'll get out of money here.
08:40Hello guys, I've come to SBI Bank. I'll get out of money here. I'll get out of money here.
08:51So there are some reels like that.
08:52Then there are others where he's handing over money to women in need.
08:56Lacks of rupees, he says.
08:57And all of it impersonating the chief minister's voice.
09:00It's of course a deepfake resembling him with even a TVK flag draped on his shoulders.
09:18Needless to say, it's all fake.
09:20But people are actually falling for this in North India, as I've shown you before,
09:23with some videos claiming Vijay's handed over a check as Nepal flood relief,
09:27another of him at Jantar Mantar during the Vangchuk hunger strike, and so much more.
09:31The CBC ID in Tamil Nadu has now cracked the whip.
09:35Some of these videos have been taken down.
09:37Others, as I just showed you, are still up on social media.
09:40The CBC ID has confirmed that so far in their probe,
09:42it's been found that these videos are actually being shared reportedly by Pakistan-based Facebook IDs.
09:48The Tamil Nadu police has now issued alerts to public not to fall for these deepfakes.
09:53But these are the latest in a slew of such social media scams

11:06one small step by the Tamil Nadu government,
11:09one giant leap for motorsports in India.
