00:17after you make both of the ears it's time to sew it onto the fox and i am sewing it
00:23between round
00:24six to round seven of the head in other words that's the part where um you see the color change
00:32from white to red only so here's round six here's round seven i'm just going to position the ears in
00:38between and i am positioning my ears so that they are actually touching each other on the tips
00:46as you can see here the tips are touching so i don't have a gap between the ears but you
00:52are
00:52welcome to do that if you want i just prefer the look where they're closer together and um since
00:59round three of the um ear has 12 stitches you're going to be folding them flat and going um sewing
01:09them across flat making it six stitches to sew across so with that in mind um i am going to
01:18position them so that they take up half of the face here so they'll go over these four red stitches
01:25and these two white stitches like so and then this one will go over these four red stitches and these
01:34two white stitches all right now time for some sewing
01:53i find it easier to just kind of hold it together with one stitch first
01:57and then putting it down so this is going to be the fourth stitch here
02:34you
03:20After you finish sewing the ears, the last thing to do is to crochet the strap underneath
03:25the fox's chin, which is going to be the strap that you loop the tail through.
03:30So to do that, you're going to go between rounds 5 and 6, counting from the nose, that's
03:361, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, so between those two rounds, and we're going to find a stitch somewhere
03:44between those two rounds there, and we're going to find a stitch somewhere near the
03:50middle of the face, um, I'll make a move over a tad.
04:15Alright, and when you found your spot, you're going to attach yarn, and chain 8.
04:241, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
04:32After you chain 8, you're going to join with a slip stitch under a stitch in round 2.
04:38So here's round 1 and then 2.
04:40So going here, insert a slip stitch into round 2.
04:50And you're going to fasten off with a long tail.
05:00And that's that for the strap.
05:03All you have to do now is to weave in both the front and the back ends.
05:12You can use a crochet hook if you want.
05:15I prefer using a yarn needle for secure weaving.
05:35After you finish the strap, you can go ahead and insert the fox's tail through that little, um, holder here.
05:47Like so.
05:52And it'll stay in place.
06:02Thank you for crocheting with me today.
