00:00And I got news for you. Every team goes through a two and eight or a three and seven or
00:04several
00:04losses in a row. Why are people freaking out about the Braves? I have no idea. They're headed
00:08toward a hundred wins. Look, you can freak out in the postseason, but their regular season has
00:13been a huge success. They're going to win the division. Phillies have been as hot as any team
00:17and the Braves are still on top of them. They swept the Dodgers. I mean, say no more. That's
00:22all. The games were really close, obviously. I mean, you think about it, three one run games,
00:26these could go either way. So let's not make too much of that. But then they get the soft part
00:29of
00:29the schedule and they get the Rockies this weekend. Tom, I just think, look, Atlanta has
00:35one of those great home field advantages going right now there. As you said, the most, if
00:40not best offense, the most dynamic offense in the National League. And they're going to
00:45get to the postseason. They're going to have to piece the pitching together. But it's not
00:48like they don't have an ace for sales as good as any pitcher in baseball. It'd be one thing
00:53if they didn't have that. Look, there's going to be some concern. Elder and Holmes, what are
00:59we doing starting them in game three or game four, game two or game three? And I understand
01:04that. And that could be potentially an issue. I think the pressure for the Braves, Tom,
01:09as we fast forward to October, is what happens if the Braves are in a wildcard series and they're
01:16playing another team and lose the first game with Chris Sale. Then panic will obviously set
01:22in. But provided they win that one and then win a wildcard series, they're going to be in
01:27a division series with Sale pitching twice in that series. So to me, that's kind of where
01:31it stands. The wildcard would be a little dangerous for them.
01:34Right. Braves have been super hot. And to your point, great series versus the Dodgers. It was
01:40highlighted by that Chris Sale start that we talked about. They get to take on the Rockies.
01:45From here on out, I've been on the record saying I'm a big believer in the Braves this year. I
01:48don't
01:48care what they've done. What they have coming up, Craig, is the most important thing that's really
01:53going to instill confidence in me. And if you're a Braves backer out there, if you have a Braves
01:57ticket, they play a make-up game against the Giants this coming Monday. They go to Washington
02:01for two. Then they play Philly for four, Tampa for three, Philly for three, and then they play
02:07the Cubs. So it's great that they had this success. They're sitting on the lead. Like you said,
02:11they're pushing towards 9,500 wins. What they do in this next two-week stretch, that's what's
02:15really going to instill confidence in me and the Braves heading into October because they play
02:18legit teams for the next two weeks straight outside of the Giants for a make-up in Washington.
02:23Like those next four series are crazy. Yeah, but Philly will probably have to go five and
02:28one in those six games at least against the Braves in order to catch them. I mean, four
02:32and two is not going to do enough for them.
