00:00Good morning. As Dolly Parton once said, if you want the rainbow, you're going to have to put up
00:06with the rain. And obviously, we need the rainfall. Low pressure is firmly in charge
00:11through Sunday. We've got this area of low pressure moving its way eastwards, bringing a rash of
00:16showers. As we go through into Bank Holiday Monday, a ridge of high pressure will topple in
00:21later on. And then through Tuesday, we have this front that will again bring cloud and outbreaks
00:26of rain across Northern Ireland and into Scotland. And Scotland is where we're already seeing
00:32outbreaks of rain through this morning, especially across western parts into southern Scotland,
00:36northern England. It's moving its way north and eastwards, something a little bit drier behind it,
00:42but it's across eastern areas where we actually hold on to the best of the sunshine through into
00:47the afternoon with some sunny spells and the odd shower. But with low pressure firmly out towards
00:53the west, that's where we're going to see a rash of showers through today, especially across Northern
00:58Ireland, northern parts of England, Wales and the southwest. Some of these showers are going to be
01:03merging to give some longer spells of rain. There'll be again some hail, some thunder, some frequent
01:09lightning and some gusty winds. So do take care. Keep an eye out on the radar on our app. There'll
01:16be
01:16some strong winds again across the south coast. But in the sunshine, that's where we'll see temperatures
01:21rising 23 or 24 degrees, but feeling cool where you catch one of these intense downpours. Now, as we go
01:29through Sunday evening, the area of low pressure continues to track across the UK. So many places
01:35are going to see some showers. Obviously, not everywhere is going to see one of those. They're
01:39going to be quite hit or miss. But the area of low pressure continues to clear its way eastwards and
01:44that will allow some clearer spells to develop in behind as we start bank holiday Monday. Overnight,
01:51temperatures will see lows of around 12 to 14 degrees. So that area of low pressure continues
01:57to clear its way eastwards. There'll be some brighter skies across eastern parts initially.
02:03Showers breaking out further towards the west. They'll track their way eastwards. Generally less
02:09intense, less lively than what we've seen over previous days. And with that ridge of high pressure
02:15toppling in behind it, that'll help ease those showers. So actually, quite a pleasant afternoon
02:21to come through much of Wales, southwest England and Northern Ireland. Temperatures around 17 to 21
02:29or 22 degrees. Now, that is all from me for now. But make sure to hit subscribe if you're watching
