00:10And they just thought that they were going to win

00:14and that eventually people would come with him.
00:16And that has not happened.
00:17It's just not happened.
00:19And I got to tell you, man, like, I was wrong.

01:20an $86 million penalty where I could help out that young QB
01:23just because I'm mad at Deshaun Watson.

04:02Here's a very sobering fact that we haven't really talked about a lot.

04:14Other owners did not like it.
04:15So the NFL is not going to bail the Browns out.
04:18They are relishing the fact that Jimmy Haslam is paying for this one way or

04:22I, I, we don't talk about that a lot here because we've just kind of forgotten
04:26about Sean Watson until he was back in the running for a starting quarterback
04:29position.
04:30But if you remember it was, it was when that contract was handed out that they
04:35were really worried that this was going to go the way of the NBA with
04:39guaranteed contracts and they were all in unison.
04:42And in fact, this came up with Lamar Jackson.

04:45And so that was the residue of this whole thing transpiring.
04:49So the last thing the NFL is going to do is bail out Jimmy Haslam, Andrew
04:54Berry, and the Browns.
04:54They're going to do us any favors.

05:07I mean, this does affect, and it affects your happiness as a fan, but it does
05:11affect some of the other guys that like, I understand that you're sensitive to
05:15Denzel Boston being upset, and I wish a great career for Denzel Boston.
05:20I don't think that if he goes out there and he plays well, that he ain't going to
05:23have no problem with anybody booing him.
05:25Yeah, but I'm telling you, I think every player, they kind of behind the scenes.

05:33So no one's going to take that positively.
05:34They all know that it could be them one day.
05:36Like, they all do know that fans can turn on you at a dime.
05:41So maybe you're right.
05:42Maybe this is a necessary lesson that these players can learn right off the bat, but it's
05:47not like they're not trying to play well.
05:49See, that's the hard part about this.
05:51Now, they don't have the how many allegations behind them and the lack of remorse and the
05:56fact that, I mean, Deshaun Watson doesn't think he did anything wrong.
05:59I mean, I fully believe that he doesn't think he did anything wrong, and he's like, I'm
06:03allowed to play football.
06:05This is the punishment, though.
06:07I mean, this is what happens.
06:09Maybe the courts don't get you, you know, maybe it was just settlements, and he pays
06:15women off, and when he paid them off, he's like, I didn't do anything wrong.
06:18I have to do this.
06:19This is a part of, you know, everything that transpired.
06:23But I do know those players in the locker room, they know they could be booed at any moment.
06:28It doesn't matter how beloved you are at one point.
06:31Well, Deshaun alluded to that in the postgame about doing nothing wrong.

06:41No, I don't regret anything in my life.
06:43You know, I think the Lord put me through situations for a reason, so I don't regret

06:49But I had different thoughts on how it was going to be, but, you know, it is what it is.

07:00of God to, you know, wait for that time to change, so I'm not tripping on it.

07:30bunch on Saturday.
07:32Saturday, I have no idea what anybody truly believes in, but I know that this, in this
07:39instance, it came off as completely tone deaf in a way that you're just trying to, trying
07:47to, trying to make, make peace with stuff that you are responsible for.

07:58Man, the only thing that's going to make him happy is June of next year.

08:34And all it took was a bunch of booze in a preseason game in the third quarter for him to

08:50But when you don't go out there and you don't have a good performance and you're losing games and then
