A sum of RM19.6mil was transferred from Khazanah Nasional Bhd (Khazanah) into FashionValet Sdn Bhd in two transactions in 2018, the Sessions Court heard.

CIMB Bank branch manager Lee Hui Nee, 58, testified that this was based on Khazanah's bank statement with CIMB for March 2018.

00:08Sendirian Bahad in two transactions in March 2018, the sessions court in Kuala Lumpur heard
00:14on Tuesday. CIMB bank branch manager Lee Huyni said the first transfer of RM7.8 million was
00:21made on March 23, followed by RM11.7 million on March 26, with both transactions processed
00:28through interbank transfers. Lee, the fourth prosecution witness, was testifying in the
00:34trial of Fashion Valley founders Datin Vivi Youssof and Datuk Fadzarudin Shah Anwar, who
00:40faced charges of criminal breach of trust involving RM8 million in investment funds from Kazana
00:46and Permodalan National Bahad. During cross-examination, Lee confirmed that bank statements showed
00:52transactions involving Vivi Youssof and Fadzarudin Shah before and after the transaction to Fashion
00:59Valley on March 23, 2018. However, during re-examination, she said she did not know the
01:06nature or amount of the transactions and only identified the names as they appeared on the
01:11bank statement. Companies Commission of Malaysia Assistant Registrar 36-year-old R. Harshini
01:17testified that Vivi Youssof and Fadzarudin Shah were directors of both Fashion Valley and 30 Maple
01:24Sendirian Berhad in 2018. The couple are accused of dishonestly transferring RM8 million from Fashion
