Negri royal row must be resolved amicably, says Zahid

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi says the Negri Sembilan royal dispute should be resolved amicably by taking into account not only constitutional and legal considerations, but also the royal institution and established customary traditions.  The Barisan Nasional chairman and Umno presiden said he and Mentri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim had yet to be granted an audience with Yang di-Pertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir and only learned of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s meeting with the Ruler through the media.
