00:27Now, before we do continue, I just want to let you know that you do need to Google Chrome to
00:32do this.
00:32So if you currently use a different internet browser,
00:35like for example, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge,
00:38what you want to do first is download Google Chrome.
00:41And once that's done, you can open up a new Google Chrome browser.
00:44Now, the first thing you're going to want to do is come over to google.com.
00:48And once you're on here and you're logged into your Google account,
00:51come and click onto the Google Apps icon in the top right hand corner.
00:54From here, what you want to do is scroll down until you see the Slides app,
00:59give it a click, and that's going to take you across to your Google Slides.
01:02What you want to do now is come up to the top right hand corner of Google Chrome,
01:06click onto the three dots to open this menu.
01:09And then what you can do is come and hover over the Cast, Save and Share option.
01:13Now, on the sub menu that comes up,
01:15you're going to see the option to install page as an app.
01:18Give that a click.
01:19And what that's going to do is open a window like this.
01:21What you can now do is name your app.
01:24So I'm just going to leave it set to Slides.
01:26But you can, of course, call it something like Google Slides or whatever you want to do.
01:30And once you've done that, just click onto Install.
01:33Now, as you can see, what that's going to do is install this as its own separate app.
01:37So if I close this down and actually come back to my desktop,
01:39you can see it's installed here.
01:41So we can just double click.
01:42That's going to directly open up Google Slides as a desktop app.
01:46And you can also use the search box in the taskbar at the bottom.
01:49Type Slides and you're going to see it's now installed as an app on your computer.
01:54So that's how to install Google Slides as a desktop app.
