00:00In this video, I will show you how to install Gmail on your laptop.
00:05Now to do this, you do need to use Google Chrome.
00:07So if you currently use a different internet browser like Microsoft Edge or mostly the Firefox,
00:13what you want to do is download Google Chrome.
00:15And once you've done that, you want to open up a Google Chrome browser,
00:18come across to gmail.com and log into your account.
00:22And once you've done that, if you come up to the top right hand corner of Google Chrome,
00:25click onto the three dots up here.
00:27And from this menu that comes up, you want to come and hover over the cast,
00:30save and share option.
00:32In the sub menu, you're going to see an option to install pages up.
00:36Give that a click and that's going to open up a window like this.
00:39Now from here, you can give it a name.
00:41So I'm going to leave it set to Gmail.
00:43And then what you want to do is click next and then click install.
00:46So you can see it's now installed in Gmail as an app.
00:49So if we close this down, come back to my desktop,
00:52you can see we've now got Gmail installed.
00:54You can use the search box as well to locate lists.
00:57You can see it's installed as an app.
00:59And when we give this a click, it's going to open up Gmail as an app on your laptop.
