00:00After an exceptionally hot couple of days, it will cool down this weekend, but there's still very little rain in
00:06the forecast.
00:07We've still got high pressure dominating our weather throughout this weekend.
00:11A cold front pushes eastwards, though, through Friday to introduce that much cooler air.
00:16Northwesterly winds, so we'll notice a difference over this weekend on the temperature.
00:21But still that high pressure in charge, so that means it's going to remain largely dry.
00:25Quite a warm night across more southeastern areas, Friday night into Saturday morning.
00:30Elsewhere, though, temperatures will be a little bit lower to start the day than they have been through this week.
00:35Having said that, it's going to stay quite dry throughout the weekend.
00:39Saturday morning, there is still a risk of some showery rain across the very far southeast to start the day,
00:44where it will still feel quite humid.
00:46Now, that's just as the day starts. Not everyone's going to see that rain.
00:50It's going to be fairly sporadic, but there is a chance through the early hours.
00:54That will push further eastwards throughout the morning.
00:57Elsewhere, we've got northerly winds and plenty of sunshine.
01:00Sunny spells across more northwestern areas, and there will be a few showers across the far northwest of Scotland as
01:07well.
01:07So, a bit more of a showery day for the north and west.
01:10But the showers aren't going to be quite as heavy for these areas on Saturday as they will have been
01:14on Friday.
01:16So, for most of us, a pretty dry day.
01:18It will feel quite nice in the sunshine as well.
01:20Temperatures in the mid-20s across central areas, lower 20s further north.
01:25A bit more pleasant than it has done lately.
01:27But still temperatures in the high 20s, possibly touching 30 degrees in the very far south and east.
01:34It's still actually quite hot and humid across more southeastern areas.
01:38And it's going to stay warm for the next few days.
01:40Still across the southeast, but not quite as exceptionally hot as we will have seen through Thursday and Friday.
01:46High pressure is still in charge through Sunday.
01:48There is a weather front, though, approaching up to the north and west.
01:52So, cloudier skies once again across more northwestern areas.
01:55The rain focused across parts of western and northern Scotland.
01:59We could see some outbreaks of rain across some areas of northern England.
02:03But I think for much of England and Wales, it's going to be another dry day.
02:07Quite a fresh start to the day as well.
02:09A cooler night, Saturday night into Sunday across the south and east.
02:13But still quite a warm day.
02:15Temperatures reaching the high 20s, 27, 28 degrees across southern and eastern England.
02:22Elsewhere, 20 to 23 degrees.
02:24So, much closer to average for this point in summer.
02:27Further north, we're in the high teens.
02:29The winds won't be quite as strong, though, on Sunday.
02:32So, it will feel a little bit more pleasant.
02:33But still, all the while, cloudier across the northwest compared to more southern areas.
02:39Now, what's going on into the start of next week?
02:41Well, there is signals that it could turn a little bit wetter.
02:44We start to see low pressures approaching from the west.
02:47High pressure is still pretty close by.
02:49So, that rain may just glance the northwest.
02:52But it could push further south and east later on in the week.
02:55But we will, of course, be keeping you updated on that for the next few days.
02:59So, don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel.
03:01Bye-bye.
