01:23i got in trouble at home there was one goal not to get a butt whipping from my godmother when

01:30home for not defending myself because that was my goal so my mom would always tell me be good be

01:37good and i would say yes that was not that was not the case but we are very good right

02:42y'all this is awesome oh thank you thank you yeah we're ziplining yeah i would never zip line

02:49well that's what i said and when i tell you my story and how i ended up happening and i

02:54just went

02:54again what not wanting to not planning to it's they tricky girl we'll talk about it we'll talk about it

03:01right no no i don't know who your friends are but i i'm not coming

03:08you'll be like yeah yeah you will come uh you know what

03:10i was i was thinking you know that oh look at the time oh my gosh so tell me the

03:24story tell us the

03:25story so my aunt my father's sister my she's like my favorite person she passed away on new year's day

03:3616 years ago and i was beside myself and then my brother passed away a week later

03:44and i was i don't know if you've ever been in a place where you just feel like you're just

03:48about

03:48to lose it and you just it's coming and you just like just i was just in that place and

03:53i have a

03:54really dear friend of mine that um her name is brandy and she called me one day she knew i

04:00was going

04:00through it and i to myself and just trying to not explode but implode a little and she said

04:07my birthday's coming up and i want to go ziplining and i want you to come with me in a

04:12group of my

04:12friends and i'm gonna tell you the truth honey i didn't know what ziplining was because we don't

04:17do that on the south side of chicago okay so hello i you know so i was like we don't

04:23do that no yes no

04:25no no but i told i was like no and brandy is the type of person you can't tell her

04:30no you just can't

04:31like she just has ways to get you to do some of the craziest stuff so i said okay fine

04:37she said you

04:37need this you need to just get away and just not think about nothing and have a good time i

04:42promise

04:42you'll have a good time so i'm like okay not still not really knowing what ziplining was we get to

04:47the

04:47place and when i had to sign my life away sign this just in case you know something happens you

04:54can't sue us and i'm like wait a minute okay what is this exactly what have you done what have

05:01you

05:01brought me girl what i literally did not know what it was and i'm seeing all these people with helmets

05:07on and all these straps and stuff and i'm going okay what is happening i did not know and so

05:13i we were

05:14walking they strapped me in with all my stuff and i'm like okay and i signed the papers and i'm

05:19looking around and we're walking like i hope i hope it's all you know and brandy's just cracking

05:25jokes and everybody's laughing having a good time and i'm like haha nothing what are we doing

05:31because fear was my best friend back you know back in the day i grew up with my father was

05:35a police

05:36officer and he always had me thinking somebody's gonna jump out of a bush or somewhere and kill me

05:41so i always had to be on the afraid of everything and so afraid of heights was another was one

05:49of

05:49those things so we get to this tree that we had to climb up that was all the way up

05:59above the trees

06:00and the phone poles and everything and i'm like what so now at this point i'm climbing i'm trying not

06:06to

06:06look down i'm trying not to be a punk because they're like you're a flight attendant why how are you

06:10afraid of heights well i'm not strapped to the outside of the plane i'm inside the plane so there's

06:15a difference so i'm climbing up this thing and halfway up i'm like i can't do this i'm not what

06:22what am i doing but i was too scared to go back down so i had been climbing on all

06:31fours no mind you i'm

06:33climbing like up this tree and the stairs are like circular i have you see my book i have pictures

06:41okay let me let me see if i can show you this tree you get y'all got to get

06:45my book this tree wait where

06:47am i circular the stairs are going around this tree and i get up there and the platform just holds

06:53the

06:53eight of us and i'm holding the tree and i'm like and i'm seeing people not now being strapped in

07:01no

07:01and being flung across the forest to i don't know where

07:08i'm not i'm not doing this

07:11y'all are crazy i'm like black people don't do this

07:18this is crazy i'm not doing this and i look over and a whole group of black folks are walking

07:27through the forest with their stuff on walking i'm like where are y'all from what the heck

07:33i just said the black people don't do this and here come the black people

07:38girl my blood is starting to boil just thinking about how absolutely terrified i was i had a bad

07:44experience as a kid with bees i got fell in the beehive and had like 30 something these things

07:48there were carpenter bees at the top of this tree that we're at the top above the phone lines above

07:54the trees we're on this platform and every time somebody zipped the thing shakes and i'm like oh this

08:01is okay there's got to be a way out of this that i want my spirit i feel like my

08:05spirit was trying to

08:06leave my body i was so terrified no it took that dude like 30 minutes to peel my hands off

08:11of the

08:12tree that i was hugging because i was not and he zipped everybody he said it was eight of us

08:18and i'm

08:19the last one and i'm like y'all gotta call a helicopter i'm not leaving this spot like every time

08:25the tree

08:26moved i was like oh my god this is not happening to me girl that zip lining experience was so

08:33traumatizing

08:33for me that i had to write a book about it it was a spiritual experience for me it helped

08:38me see that

08:39even though i was a controlling i was a control freak at the time i was in control of nothing

08:46it's in when you're in a position where you're like somebody help me right now because i'm about

08:51to lose my mind oh yeah oh yeah finally and he was so good i i've always wanted to go

08:58back to see

08:59this guy because i i don't know he was an angel or something he was so patient with me and

09:04come to

09:05find out once he finally got me hooked on and i'm holding him like this don't let me go don't

09:11let me

09:11go don't let me go don't let me go don't let me go oh please don't let me go and

09:15he's like you've got

09:16this and he's peeling my fingers for the 20th time and everybody's on the other side i can hear them

09:24because you can't see because the zip takes you through the freaking jungle oh my gosh so i finally

09:28let go and i screamed the whole way what i didn't realize is that zips zips you higher to another

09:35platform and you have to do six more in order to be done you don't get to like i'm thinking

09:40okay i did it

09:47give me my purse i'm ready to go now this is this has been interesting and they're like oh we're

09:53not

09:53done and i'm like you you've got to be kidding me right now girl they thought i was the comedy

10:01act

10:02of the year they do that when i tell you seven zip lines seven and seven one let me and

10:10this is

10:10it's all in the book but i'm gonna give the because the the whole point of my book is the

10:15spiritual

10:15aspect so i'm gonna tell the story of the zip line because it's what inspired me to write it

10:21but that last zip was the longest it was over a graveyard and a lake and you're supposed to

10:28enjoy the scenery like it's the longest biggest one which i didn't know right i get on the zip and

10:33i'm like you know it's true i'm not going to be looking like a fool screaming and crying again because

10:37clearly they're not listening to me when i tell them i don't want to do this right i'm like excuse

10:41me excuse me i'm i'm done i'm the fourth one i was like oh no this is like hello so

10:48i get i do this

10:49last zip and i didn't give much of a plus and i get halfway and the wind stops blowing

10:56and my zip stops in the middle of the zip line over a lake of water i can't swim i

11:04can swim now

11:05that taught me how to learn how to swim so i learned how to swim i know how to swim

11:07now but

11:08i couldn't swim at the time and i'm and it just stops and i'm like what the heck hello hello

11:15in my

11:16i'm like somebody come get me this is crazy i'm screaming my head off and i can hear

11:21the leader the the guy who took us on the tour and he's like okay listen i'm gonna come and

11:28get

11:28i'm like come and get me come and get me i'm screaming he said i'm coming but i need you

11:34to

11:34flip over because you know the zip is you're sitting like this yeah you're hooked in and you're just zipping

11:40he's telling me that i need to flip over and use my arms to pull myself and he said he

11:49was coming from

11:49the other way to come and get me and i'm like are you crazy are you crazy he's like no

11:54you can do it

11:55you can do it i need you to just so when i tell you see this is before i don't

11:59cuss no more and i

12:01wasn't accustomed in because i was like the church and the worship team this is my worship team i'm on

12:07this thing oh no the words i was making up cuss words i was sorry you got to be kidding

12:15this is the

12:15seventh one so i'm upside down and i got my legs up here on the thing in my hands and

12:22i'm doing this

12:23and i'm screaming just keep going keep going and they're all cheering from the platform you can do it

12:36you gotta come on when i tell you by the time i got there my arms were so burnt like

12:44i i wanted

12:45to slap him but i couldn't even he grabbed me and he said i'm so proud of you i'm so

12:52proud of you i

12:53didn't think you would make it but you did it i said i would murder you right now if i

12:57could use my arms

12:58you know for me so at the end of the zip it you know as we're going back to to

13:06take off all our

13:07gear they had this big board that said what did you see it had all these different birds and squirrels

13:13and deer and coyote what i didn't see when i all i saw was my big mouth wide open screaming

13:20the whole

13:20time i didn't see nothing it made me realize why i was being so afraid and fighting this thing that

13:27i didn't get a chance to actually enjoy the the view the scenery the zip lining so my husband and

13:34i went

13:34to mauritius africa we just got back like three weeks ago when i tell you that place is paradise

13:40and my husband learning my story about my book zip lining he's like i want to do it this dude

13:46is not

13:46afraid of when i tell you he's not afraid of nothing so i said wait okay i will go zip

13:53line

13:53now i'm not doing it i once was enough for me i'm good i bet you did to go zip

13:58lining he wants to do

13:59the whole superman one and i just just my husband is this is a daredevil okay so we get there

14:07and i'm

14:08like listen i'm just coming to watch okay i want to do the four-wheeling because this place had all

14:12the

14:12different activities you could do and i said we'll we'll sign you up for zip lining so the lady's like

14:17she goes but do you want to see the waterfalls and i said yeah i i want to see the

14:22waterfalls and she

14:22said well there's this one little baby zip that takes you to the waterfall and that's it and then

14:27you'll see it so i'm like and chris is like are you scared i'm like no fear is not of

14:33y'all i don't

14:34have fear anymore i'm not scared okay you know i'll do the one how they get me again girl how

14:39how come

14:40after we did and i did the first one and i have a video it was it was wonderful it

14:45was wonderful i'm

14:46i'm so different from when i initially wrote this book i'm so different right so i do the one and

14:51i'm

14:51good right so i'm looking around i'm going okay where are the stairs how do i get back down i'll

14:56wait

14:56for you honey at the bottom they're like no no no it's seven zips you got to do is this

15:02everywhere

15:02because i didn't think that was a standard i got she tricked you she tricked it it's like you want

15:10to see the waterfalls so i had an attitude you know our creator is like see you're not afraid

15:17anymore you're enjoying this look at how much you've changed how much you've grown and i'm like

15:25and these and these are young kids that are doing the zip remind me kids in their 20s because i'm

15:3055

15:30and they're they're swinging the line as you're zipping on it and i'm like

15:37always pushing me father always pushing me oh my gosh that's my brief story about the actual

15:42zip lining experience that was so traumatizing that it helped me take a good look at this at myself and

15:48realize that number one i'm not in control no even though i was controlling which is great and number two

15:58um there's way more to me than just the physical you know what i mean like our bodies are our

16:05vessel

16:05our temple we only get one we're supposed to take care of it but the spiritual aspect i didn't really

16:11realize or understand who we actually are in the spirit until all that fear had me consumed and i felt

16:19like i was gonna leave my body like seriously so that's that you know i kept i couldn't stop talking

16:27about it and my friend was like why don't you just write a book about it just write about it

16:32i'm like

16:32you know what i'm gonna do that but i wrote it 15 years ago and uh but my journey has

16:39been these past

16:4115 years and i'm so not the same person that i was uh because of my relationship with our creator

16:48the

16:48most high and he just been working with me with number one getting rid of that fear and understanding

16:55where it came from because you you know you carry traumas in your life from childhood that ends up

17:02being idols whether it's you know molestation whether it's alcohol whether it's a physical abuse

17:08it causes you to carry a lot of things with you that you didn't realize that's where it came from

17:13and

17:13that's the things that i do and so my book just kind of it's my testimony is my spiritual journey

17:20of

17:20how i got to my name being yanis and how um i've learned to use my my my voice and

17:29all the giftings

17:30that the most high gave me for him specifically it teaches people how to have a real relationship with

17:36our creator yeah oh my gosh you got me these girl yes you got me see i'm i'm one for

17:44roller coasters

17:44any kind of roller coaster love them i love when i was a teenager i would go we call it

17:50it was great

17:50america or six flags and i was like they still have it roller coaster after roco girl i tried that

17:56one

17:56time in my 30s you know they take pictures of you on the road yeah what you look like it's

18:01not running

18:02down all over my head i had a migraine i was like okay that's not for me anymore oh my

18:08gosh

18:10i'm 53 years old and put me on a roller coaster any day when was the last time you went

18:17on a roller coaster

18:18you know what it's been too long it's been too long what was it we went in

18:27may oh girl daddy too i thought i was just gonna say high school okay no it's been too long

18:32it's been

18:32may i usually go every month wow you do like it now i like the upside down ones the velocity

18:39coasters

18:40the ones that inverted that go straight down i like the ones that go through the water i like being

18:45upside down and screaming at people yeah i love all that so you know i mean maybe the zip line

18:54wouldn't

18:55be too far-fetched for me you would love zip lining if you can do roller coasters you would love

19:01zip

19:01lining i love roller coasters love it it's not as crazy it's less crazy than roller coasters and

19:07really more just the view up there the wind blowing and it's it's wonderful i really enjoyed it this last

19:14time i got tricked into doing it and would i do it again i don't you know it's i did

19:20it i'm good you

19:21know but it was it helps me realize that i've overcome my fear and i'm very happy about that

19:29i got you i got you you know it's so it's so cool to see that you you know you

19:35were or are a stewardess

19:38right well i was a flight attendant until september 11th happened okay so september okay so you i i love

19:46the window seat when listen i'm i'm i'm the weirdest person like i'm ready to take off like take off

19:56and

19:56landing i know the most dangerous parts of of flying i know that i know that i know that's a

20:03whole i know

20:04about the beeps two beeps y'all sit your butt down it's time to go we're getting ready to take

20:08off i

20:08know i know about all of that i want to sit next to the window and when i don't i

20:14get mad because i

20:16can't get a window seat because then the person that's sitting next to someone who is usually scared

20:20to look out the window and they close the thing the whole time and i can't see out because i

20:25want

20:25to see when we're like this and i want to be right there especially if you can tell that they

20:31don't

20:31want to sit next to the window seat see they don't let you change seats anymore because your name is

20:36assigned to that seat and if they do crash at least your body will be in that seat hopefully you

20:44have

20:45yeah yeah yeah so i understand i understand it but i'm the kind of person where when we take off

20:51i'm like

20:55that's me and i don't know why you're just a little junkie like my husband i love it like put

21:02me in

21:03in the cockpit while we're taking off and we're got the i would see and we as i would be

21:09me the whole

21:10time we got to be in the cockpit when they take off and i scream the whole time

21:16no way i would be the one smiling wow okay well that's like that you can have all of that

21:23my dear

21:23all right i love and i don't know why i love it i love it you know i take my

21:28kids and they're not

21:30like little anymore they're in their 20s and you know my son can't do it because he gets sick on

21:35it

21:35but the kids love it i take all the kids on the roller coasters see i love like speed boats

21:41i love

21:41being on the water i love i love like i like that green yeah no i don't like boats there's

21:51too much

21:51water to drink yeah too much water too much too much but i understand where you're coming from because

22:00zip lining is a little bit scary i mean for me what if the clip feels what if something fails

22:07what if

22:07the line breaks you know that you have the the lady that was doing the the bungee jumping there

22:13which i will never do by the way and they didn't clip her right she fell to her death

22:18they didn't put nothing on her i'd be like excuse me excuse me and they were carrying her all weird

22:22and just chucked it i'm like nobody noticed she didn't have a rope tied to her feet nothing that was

22:28crazy nothing and you know she signed her life away yeah that's what they have to do and i'm like

22:34wait a

22:34minute okay not for real what is zip lining that i got this paperwork what in the world yeah yeah

22:41yeah

22:41so you write about that you wrote about this but you also wrote a few different things in there you

22:46put yahoo yahushua yahushua yahushua with deep conviction why is it important for you to use

22:52this language like the names yeah and you know so intentionally that's a good question um so i've been

23:00a i had been a christian all my life my mother was we started a church in our basement so

23:06but not just

23:08that but i've always had a relationship with the most high with our creator he's always been telling

23:14me don't do that don't go that way come on don't do this he's always kind of had me by

23:19the collar

23:19right and as i got older and especially after this zip lining experience i realized there's more

23:26to life than just going to work going to church and going to sleep rinse and repeat there's there's

23:33more like i'm here for a reason um and i have always had the ability to talk to him and

23:41hear him speaking

23:42back to me so one day i'm and i'm i'm a worshiper i sing i only sing worship to him

23:49the voice he gave me so

23:51i i sing if i have a few songs out um and so i'm just singing and worshiping one day

23:57and telling him

23:57i feel like there's more like i need to know more at this point i stopped going to church because

24:02it's

24:03just a bunch of craziness going on in the churches and i'm like this ain't it this is not it

24:08so i stopped

24:09going to church and i'm just having my own uh relationship i'm reading the bible for myself and

24:16i'm asking him like there's more i feel like there's more and i heard him clear as day say to

24:21me start with my name and i'm like start with your name your name is jesus and god and lord

24:27right like

24:28what do you mean and no sooner than i asked that question uh there was a young man on youtube

24:34that

24:34was talking about his real name and that his name was taken out of the bible like 6 800 times

24:41it was

24:42changed because the jewish people said that it was too holy for us to say so they changed it to

24:49god

24:49and lord and actually if you research what those mean they mean a false god named bale it's not our

24:57creator's real name he has a real name and he said my name is yahua forever and they changed his

25:06name so i

25:06started doing all my research and i'm like this is true and i'm looking and reading and researching

25:13and i'm going oh my god then not only am i finding that out i found out that the people

25:18in the in the

25:19tanakh which is the old testament the people in the bible period are my ancestors are your ancestors

25:26the those people is our people is us and that because they were so hard-handed and stiff-necked

25:35yahua told them so this is what happened they were crying to him when they ended up in egypt as

25:40slaves

25:41and he heard their cry he said okay cool i'm gonna rescue you i'm gonna show you some miracles i'm

25:46gonna get you out of egypt and then we're gonna meet at the mountain and we're gonna have an agreement

25:52and i'm gonna tell you this is what i expect from you i will be your elohim you will be

25:57my people

25:57right these are the things that i expect from you these are the things that will happen if you don't

26:03do

26:03these things and they wouldn't they wanted to be like the egyptians they wanted to worship other

26:08gods they wanted to do their own thing and so finally after sending prophet after prophet after

26:14prophet warning them listen what i told you was going to happen in deuteronomy it's about to happen

26:20and sure enough he allowed he turned his back on us our ancestors and he let the people come from

26:28the north and take us into slavery for 400 years and it's all in there that we were going to

26:33they

26:33were going to scatter us all over the world as slaves if you notice our people all over the world

26:38are at the bottom of the food chain it's a struggle for the most part and that's because we're under

26:44the

26:44curse of our ancestors but he gave us a way out he said if my people would just get on

26:50their knees and

26:51repent and obey my laws and my commandments they're not so much better and so i i learned all of

27:02this in

27:03my research and it's just mind-blowing so you know a lot of that is explained in my book how

27:10to have a

27:11real relationship with our creator because that's why we were created we were created to have a relationship

27:17with him not to sit in a church and have some person telling you what you're supposed to do

27:21not you know worshiping all these false gods or worshiping yourself for that matter you were created

27:28for relationship and that's what my mission in life this is why i was created to help people understand

27:35that and understand how they can do it because it's way easier than you think yeah yeah yeah you know

27:43you mentioned in the book losing your voice as a little girl right yeah what does it mean to you

27:49today to speak boldly about your faith and also to sing it means everything it you know my voice was

27:57is my weapon my voice is what uh yahua uses to to speak to people he uses me i'm a

28:07prophetic evangelist

28:08so i do music um i i get in front of people and i share my testimony because that's how

28:14people

28:14can know and understand the truth because if you are his chosen people or even if you're grafting in

28:21because you've decided that you want to be one of his chosen people you know there is a responsibility

28:30that we have to help share and let everybody else know because we're in a we're in the end times

28:39i know you've heard that said but we're we're in the time right now that now there's going to be

28:45judgment on the people that did us dirty the people that took our identity made us forget our identity

28:53scattered us all over the world and have constantly kept yahua's people oppressed there is now a time for

29:02them to pay for what they did and so if you've noticed the weather and just the fires the just

29:09judgment everywhere it's starting to happen and my goal is to wake up the remnants rim there's a remnant

29:16left of our people that yahua says if you just repent and work on your relationship with me i will

29:26change your life

29:26forever so the the to answer your question i lost my voice as a little girl due to a lot

29:34of abuse and

29:35things that i went through but he gave me back my voice so that he can use it for his

29:39glory and that's

29:41why i'm here wow you know that's yeah i'm glad you know that that's why you're here a lot of

29:47people don't

29:47realize what and and don't know what they're here for they don't know why they're here and and i think

29:53that's one of the reasons why some people take themselves out because they just never really

29:57figured out what they were here for um and they don't see the purpose and so unfortunately they

30:03take themselves out but you know looking back right what was the most difficult lesson that yahua taught

30:10you during your own forest season we're not not on the zip line because we already know what that was

30:17so the forest season for me started after the zip line after i came to a realization

30:23that i didn't love him as much as i thought i did that was the biggest the hardest thing for

30:28me to

30:28accept because again i told you i grew up in the church i was always you know worshiping because i

30:34knew i was created to worship and i was always doing that but yet i was you know fornicating and

30:39i was

30:40drinking and yeah i was doing stuff i'm not supposed to be eating even pig like it was going out

30:45of style

30:45like i was doing things that i'm not i was not supposed to be doing and that's that shows him

30:51you don't really love me you say you love me you wear it on your shirt you know you up

30:56there on the

33:38our bodies he knows what should go in them and what shouldn't go in them right so i'm obeying his

33:44commandments i'm not perfect i make mistakes but i am walking in the promises now and he's going to use

33:51and those that have decided to have a real relationship with him he's going to use us to

33:57show people this is what happens when you have a real relationship with our creator so what people

34:03i want people to take away from my book is just know that it's my story it's my testimony it's

34:10and continue to follow there's another book coming after this is my husband and i because he's been

34:15through some crazy stuff we both have and we're going to do a book together and it's going to be

34:21our testimony as far as our childhood and what we experienced up until when we met so it's going to

36:53loved it when you when you're sitting on the right or the left side and it's tilted to the right

36:59the left and it's turning and i'm like wow yeah you will love that's me i take it back because

37:07no bungee because i went on the towers you know those towers that shoot you up but they they drop

37:14and i think for 20 minutes i went on because my daughter she said you got to do it at

37:19least once

37:19in your life and so i did it i did it i willingly did it once in my life i

37:24got on the one that shoots you

37:26up so it kind of put like a boomerang it just kind of pops it just shoots you up and

37:32then it drops you

37:33like this and for 20 minutes i was holding on to the pole outside before you went did you do

37:42after i finished i was dizzy i was i was scared and i think i was shocked

37:50yeah no i held on to that steel pole outside that place for 20 minutes going okay we're not moving

37:59from here for a minute what are you doing why because one we gotta do it once in your life

38:08a friend of mine he's blind completely blind from birth he's got no pupils and he loves tandem skydiving

38:18you know and that's i don't know i'm done that would be easier if you can't if you can't see

38:23nothing but yeah he's tandem and he says he loves it he's done it a few times wow yeah no

38:30why would you jump off a perfectly good plane i like being in the plane and looking out the window

38:36not jumping from it my husband is like babe we should i said you just hold it right there

40:36i can't reach up yet can't reach up yet so once that's healed then yeah we can we can make

40:41but i ain't

40:42going if i if it ain't paid for okay so if nobody pays for it i ain't going let me
