00:01We continue in Colombia, where President Gustavo Petro made an official visit to Cuba, during
00:06which he urged the international community as a whole to show solidarity with the largest

00:12President Gustavo Petro's official visit to Cuba concluded this Saturday with a strong
00:16call to the international community, and in particular to the U.S. government, to cease
00:20aggressions against the island.
00:22In turn, Petro invited U.S. authorities to establish a dialogue among civilizations to
00:27prevent an invasion or missile launch.
00:29For his part, the President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, affirmed that this visit by the
00:34Colombian President stradens the brotherhood between the two nations, and rejects the threats
00:38by Abelardo de la Esperi a las incoming government to break off relations with Cuba.

00:59to call on humanity to show solidarity with Cuba, which is currently under violent threat

01:17May the message inscribed in Latin on its original flag, that of the original 13 states, which
01:23is respect for diversity, be upheld, and may the path of dialogue among civilizations,
01:29on an equal footing, rather than world wars and missiles, be the one that leads us to global
01:34democracy and freedom.
01:37Instead of facing hardships in their own lives today, they should be spearheading a major dialogue,
01:43one that, given the geographical proximity of Florida and Cuba, could take place here among
01:49all the people of Latin America and the Caribbean, their governments, and the governments of North
01:54America to establish agreements that will lead us to build solutions to the common problems
01:59facing humanity and the Americas.
