00:00Cuban President Miguel Díaz Canel Bermúdez visited the eastern provinces of Cuba for the fourth time
00:06to monitor progress in the recovery efforts following Hurricane Melissa.
00:10The Cuban president traveled through the provinces of Santiago de Cuba, Granma and Holguín
00:16to monitor the recovery efforts and also supervise the comprehensive care provided to affected families.

00:31He also took the opportunity to highlight the preventive measures taken in the fight against

00:39Moreover, the Cuban president emphasized that the people of the affected provinces are not alone
00:44and that the revolution moved forward in its efforts to address their present situation
00:49as a consequence of Hurricane Melissa.
00:58And from the Cuban province of Granma, President Díaz Canel noted the progress made in the
01:03restoration of the electric service, which has been 96% completed.
