00:00Welcome back. In Cuba, the Patriarch Colloquium brought together more than 150 participants
00:05from 23 countries. Our correspondent Belén de los Santos brings us the latest updates
00:10from the final day of the Patriarch Colloquium.
00:18Hello, studios. It's a pleasure to greet you once again from Havana, Cuba, final day
00:22of the Patriarch Colloquium. We've been reporting on everything that has been going on and a special
00:28day here, not only because it's a day of conclusions, it's a day of coming to the end of the
00:35final
00:36propositions, not of what was discussed here in the Patriarch Colloquium, but also what lies ahead
00:41in the year to come. One of the most important things that happened during this colloquium was
00:46the inauguration of the Patriarch House. This has been a goal ever since the Patriarch Colloquium
00:52started years ago here in Cuba. This place in order to exchange strategies from communications
00:59and communication outlets across the Global South. Now the Patriarch House has been inaugurated
01:05officially yesterday here in Havana and that will be a permanent place from where to continue the
01:11coordination efforts across the not only country or region, but across the Global South as a whole.
01:19Also, another important thing, the president of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, was here once again. He has been
01:25very much present throughout the colloquium. Since the very beginning, it has been a priority of the
01:31president of Cuba to be able to attend the conferences, the panels. It has been a particular initiative of
01:39him to follow in understanding that communication is key during this challenging time. He was here once again.
01:47He actually visited the stand of Telesur. He signed the poster dedicated to Fidel, leaving a message both to the
01:55commander and to the media outlet. He talked to our reporter as well and gave a message of the importance
02:02of
02:03standing together at this moment and the importance of international solidarity in general, coming together to
02:10understand how to best approach communication. This is the last day of the Padre Colloquium. We will continue
02:17reporting. There's a lot happening here in Havana. Now I go back to you.
02:20Thank you very much.
