00:41are underperforming and if you could bring a little juice to the lineup and I think that's what that
00:47does is that the reason they're calling him up or is it hey we've got a people that we still

00:57sell tickets to we still want people to watch especially if they're on this West Coast trip
01:02and tonight they're there it's a late game I want to see his first opportunity in a Tigers uniform in
01:10regular season play is this more of a PR issue than it is an actual merit-based call-up can

03:46why not before the Baltimore series yeah why not well because James Outman has been James Outman
03:54since he's been here and Matt Veerling has been Matt Veerling all season long like it just they're
03:58all underperforming and Gary Carpenter has been injured so why not call him up if if you believe
04:05that's a bat that can help you and you want to keep Scoble you want to be able to say

04:13making a push for the postseason then bring in a bat that can help you and it's on the heels

04:18something that I learned because Tom brought it up the fact that if Max Clark is on the roster this

04:23if there's a lockout he can't go get reps in minor league baseball to start the season next year
04:27because he's on the 40 man yeah so they're willing to to gamble service time and and and MLB time

04:37there's no season next year to get him up now the question is why completely ridiculous yeah but the
04:42question is why and I think the easiest answer is he's playing good baseball and it's it's just it's time
04:48he's ready yeah I mean he's their number one prospect all these other side reasons they're
04:53not bringing him up unless they think he's ready they're not gonna mess with that he was the very
04:58first draft pick that Scott Harris ever made number three overall player there's reason to be excited
05:05about him now that he's he's here right um I think the timing is the the road trip like I
05:11do think
05:11that was part of the reason is that look they they're not playing at home until what August 12th or
05:17something like that again you serious it's a 10 game or nine game road trip it's three series on
05:23the west coast I do think there might have been a little bit of a motive to not do this
05:28at home
05:29considering they probably hear the noise about the bling and you know if he boots a ball in the
05:35outfield quick people could get on him quick get his feet wet out there you said he's going to start
05:40in a triple a ballpark right in Sacramento ease the transition in
05:47but that that would that would refute the idea of selling tickets
05:50oh I call it I totally don't think that's a motivation this is their number one prospect
05:54they they are not messing with him the core of the team is Clark and McGonagall
05:59how about this their next game at Comerica Park is Tuesday August 11th against the Guardians
06:05so there's going to be an extended stretch you can help us beat them for once that'd be nice

07:08make the postseason they if they sell scoobal and then make a run for the postseason I just wonder
07:15why they didn't do it to try and save scoobal or maybe it's is we're asking questions in defense of
07:23Scott Harris maybe they decided that this sale was going to or the that they were going to trade scoobal
07:28three weeks ago four weeks ago like hey we know that it's an absolute long shot so we're going to
07:37continue these conversations about selling tarot scoobal we're going to do that and when we do that's
07:44the time to bring up the young guys and maybe there's more coming maybe it's Max Anderson maybe
07:49there's some other guys that are on the horizon because we've got to do this methodically we're
07:55going to dfa some guys we're going to trade some guys and they ended up trading Jake Rogers to
07:59Baltimore and we get a you know double a pitcher and we're going to do some things like that there's
