00:43We know how Janae was treated in the villa like she was a second-class citizen,
00:47like dark-skinned black women are not desired.
00:49And all of that adds up and it's dehumanizing and it's horrible and it's not funny.
00:55Now is not the time for jokes or I told you so's or to treat these people like characters in

01:06to learn that the man she was intimate with, she was building a life with,
01:10was harboring these hateful feelings towards her.
01:13And I think if you've ever dated interracially, secretly, in the back of your mind,
01:17in the beginning, this is one of your biggest fears.
