00:00The difference between an eau de toilette, eau de perfume, and an extract is basically the oil
00:05concentration versus alcohol. So an eau de toilette is the lightest of the three, 12 to 18% oil
00:13concentration. As soon as you spray it, it has the largest projection because alcohol actually
00:18boosts the fragrance projection for the initial spray, but on dry down, it won't have as much
00:25longevity compared to an eau de parfum and an extract. An eau de parfum is anywhere from, let's
00:30call it 18 to 20%, sometimes 22% oil concentration. This is your average perfume. Most fragrances that
00:39you find and main retailers, they usually are selling the eau de parfum. Lastly, we have the
00:44extract, which is 25% concentration to 30% concentration of oil. And these are going to
00:51give you the best longevity because there's going to be so much oil, the fragrance, they
00:55should last the longest. Anything above that is going to be too greasy and it's just basically
01:00a perfume oil.
