00:56Aisling a butterfly haircut. A butterfly haircut the inspiration comes from the
01:0190s supermodels. Lots of layers like a lots of volume and then you can flip the
01:07hair around like it frames the face so beautifully. It has nice movement. It's
01:13just beautiful 90s iconic supermodel hair.

01:21Hi, nice to meet you. Nice to meet you. I came like a butterfly because our
01:24inspiration is a butterfly haircut, no? Yes it is.
01:27There you are. I love it. That's why I flew here.
01:31I am so excited to work with Dimitri. I stalked his Instagram and I'm so blown away by all the
01:37hair he's done and I cannot wait to get my hair done by him.
01:41Shall we do it? Yeah, let's go. Oh my gosh, I'm so excited! Let's do it!
01:45Now I'm gonna wet the hair so my hair is nice and fresh for the haircut. I'm gonna start from
01:51the top of the head and I'm gonna take my first section and I'm gonna cut quite a few inches
01:56because I want my layers to look very high and have the butterfly illusion.
02:01I went to private school for most of my life so I had pretty boring hair and then I got
02:08kicked out of school and I immediately dyed my hair hot pink and then did green and blue and like
02:13I had all my crazy moments and then I just decided one day I'm like I just want long pretty
02:19hair that's not crazy.
02:23I'm gonna keep pulling the hair up and gonna cut it in the same length I cut my first section.
02:30I'm a mom and so I tend to put my hair needs last or kind of put it to the
02:37side so I also feel like this haircut is perfect for me to be able to easily style at home.
02:42At the end I'm gonna brush the hair and then I'm gonna give a little trim at the ends. So
02:49in this case I have very high layers and still I kept my length the way I wanted.
02:56I have seen the butterfly haircut all over Instagram and TikTok and I just didn't know what it was called,
03:02I didn't know what to ask for and now I'm with the pros so it'll be good.
03:06After I finish the haircut I'm gonna add some raw sugar leave-in conditioner so it protects the hair from
03:13the heat and gives a nice and smooth finish.
03:16I'm gonna start by blow drying the hair with a round brush in different directions. In the front of the
03:21hair I'm gonna use a round brush as well and I'm gonna do my bangs like look like more curtain
03:27bangs so they're away from the face.
03:31I have had like a very light form of curtain bangs before and they're pretty grown out now so I'm
03:37excited to get some bangs.
03:38When I finish the blowout I'm gonna flip the hair down I'm gonna tassel and I'm gonna spray the hair
03:45with some color out texturizing spray.
03:48And voila this is the haircut nice and bouncy beautiful for a 90s night out with your friends.
